Hey Everyone! I just got home from a week of inpatient psych and boy does it feel good to be home! I managed to go 8 years from my last psych admission, so that's pretty good. (for me) Everything is in working order now. I'm starting an intensive outpatient program in 2 weeks when a space opens up. I'm looking forward to getting talk therapy again after years of just going with meds alone.

And trilled, and quivered, and shook his throat

I hope everything goes really good for you and that you can go even longer next time between them. (Oh man I do hope longer time is a good thing!) But best of health to ya dude. smilies/icon_smile.gif

Thanks, and yep, longer is a good thing. While hospitalised they put me on a bad medication, so after I was released I had a bad bout of cutting that left some nasty scars, but my regular doc took me off it and back on what works, and since then I've been doing very well. My only issue is getting enough sleep. I've tried 3 sleeping pills in the last 4 months and none of them has worked, so that needs to be ironed out. Even with less than ideal sleep and growing stress I've been remarkably resilient. Now if I could just get my weight under control...

*tee hee* Let your chat mule make another one.

*sigh* Poor old GoAF. We used to have so much fun here. I wish someone active was on the crew so we could send out an announcement and dust the cobwebs off, get a few contests going and have a revival! Poo. smilies/icon_neutral.gif

LOL, I try to reply when I can. I've been really busy over the past 5 months starting a business. Right now I got a wee bit of time. Still waiting on my dinner to finish.

Yea could've been either guild or even both. I typically post in game threads since that don't take very long to do, and when I don't have a lot of time typically... it works. Sometimes I actually have time to bump a few tanks and play them- if the damned captcha isn't glitchy.

How've you been doing?

Oh cool! You started business...what kind of business?

I'm doing OK atm. We moved at the end of March and it was incredibly stressful and dramatic. Everything went wrong, basically. Now we're doing pretty good, recovering. I'm starting 2 businesses myself. They're little home-based things. If I get a few hours a week off each I'll be thrilled.

Wow. You've got a varied selection! Is your produce organic? That's a hot item. We've been on-again, off-again co-op members for years. Where we live now the farmer's don't do co-ops like they did in Philly, which was much better. But we still try and buy from them when they set up market. So while people are buying the necessity of food they can buy the luxury of art and some reading to stimulate the brain. Do you have your own storefront? Or do you pack up back and forth to a market?

One of my businesses is tutoring older adults in computer/Internet literacy and safety. A lot of older people want to get on the 'net or do things with computers but they just don't know how, and the younger people don't have the patience to teach them. I was an IT manager before I retired and I trained people, so this is second nature. My other enterprise is reading tarot online. I prefer to do it in person, but my wife doesn't want me to open a reading room in our little community for fear of people gossiping. I'm afraid I miscommunicated my earlier statement...I meant I would be thrilled just to get a few hours of work from each business every week. I don't want a lot of work, just enough to have some spending money for fun. smilies/icon_whee.gif

Its actually from multiple farms and growers. Some is organic but others not, that way we always have certain produce that if we were only organic we'd not have for customers that ask for them. But I try to keep to local aside from produce that can't be grown here even in greenhouses.

We actually have an area in the market where we have it fenced/caged in with windows and doors that open. We can set up and just cover certain things up and at the end of the day close and lock up everything. It's a lot less stressful than taking everything down at the end of the day, and the price is very affordable. Not to mention the place is a bit historic for our area as well.

Now that's cool, helping the older ones understand things online. That is a very big issue. Too many feel they can go anywhere and say anything even if they're giving personal info that they shouldn't be. I know some young adults who really need to take classes in net safety... esp when they let their kids put home address and home phone numbers and school- when they're under 16 and have a public social media page.

OOOoooohhhhh. Now readings are pretty cool. Does online work the same way? I've not had many readings and have only let one lady do one on me I didn't know. The rest were from close friends. I know in person would be better cuz you can see the person, sense the person and things like that... but I see where your wife is coming from. I'm glad in my area we really don't have to worry about gossip and bullshit like that. It's more accepted in my area those who are the pagan Christians and Wiccans and other "pagan" beliefs. Personally to me it seems the ones labeled pagan have more respect for others and our planet and even our spiritual side. But that's just what I've seen.

Gotcha, I'd love things to finally be settled from renovations and building things that I'd have set days off as well as the extra funds to stick aside and for other things

Reading online essentially works the same way, but for me it's harder. For some people it's easier to do it online for strangers. I like to get the person's birth date or star sign at minimum, whichever they're comfortable giving. If they're willing to give me their name that helps a lot, but some people like to be anonymous. (If they use their real name on PayPal then I do have it, but I go by what they tell me) When I read in person I have the sitter cut the deck, and if they're comfortable with it, they shuffle a little, so they give the deck some energy. I really enjoy doing it. I don't care if people waggle their tongues about it, but we live in a close-knit community and many people are very into appearances, unlike me. Plus the religious community would weigh in and our family is pretty prominent in it. Being the black sheep has it's drawbacks. Baaaa!

Baaaa!

Ahhhh I see how it works now. I don't think I'd ever be that comfortable doing a reading for someone else. My family or close friends yes, but not strangers. There's too many of them I just get that ick feeling and sense from, and that honestly closes me up. But eh I'm better with Reiki, so I'll leave the cards to those who are better with them. XD

Owch. Black sheep never have it easy. I always thought it a bit of an advantage because that left it my choice as to what I did and where my path lead me... but sometimes it does have its drawbacks. Baaaaaad. :::giggles:::
