The Scarlet Rose pulls into port now, her flag a fake one so she goes unnoticed while docked. Sasha turns to the crew while a few toss the ropes down to the dock men. "Take two days, then return so we can go looking for some very powerful treasure." Handing out pay, she glances at the Captain's door. "We all have our orders, now go on." She swings off of the deck down onto the docks. Licking her lips, she smiles sweetly. Walking up to one of the men her voices sweetens, her seduction 'on' now. Whispering to him she then walks off. He follows her in a haze.

"Two days to do what we want? Maybe We can look are..." She wanted to ask James if he wanted to join her, but stopped herself. He probably has something else he wants to do, I can look around for my parents... She had a heart shaped necklace, only two made, her mother gave it to her before she went into adoption, from what her clan leader told her. Rachelle swung down from the rope and looked around.

Land, sweet land. Oh how James missed her so. The soles of his feet yearned to run on firm ground, he wanted to feel grass between his toes. His face had the smile that only lovers shared when seeing one another. However, He was a torn man. Leaving the boat meant putting his life at risk and he valued his life above all else. His eyes moved left and right as if they tried to keep up with a rapid discussion. He heard Sasha's words but paid no mind. He had more important things to worry about. James walked down silently until he reached the railing of the ship then stopped. "I- I, uh think some one should stay back and watch the ship." His voice had the slightest quiver and very little projection. Completely unlike him. ''Since everyone has earned their two days and our first mate is currently starved, I shall volunteer" As he spoke his eyes remained glued on the dock, In all honestly he didn't care who heard him or if anyone was paying attention. In a swift motion James hoped on top of the rail and sat crossed-legged tapping his fingers on his knees nervously. Still staring out towards the docks.

Rachelle looked around. She found food shops and markets. Rachelle didn't have money, and she wasn't good at bargening either, so she didn't bother. Rachelle's stomach and a random woman gave her free food. She went back to the ship, "This woman gave me free bread and jam..."

By the time Rachelle returned nothing had changed, James was still perched on the rail tapping on his knee. His eyes scanned the dock rapidly. This fear was starting to turn into frustration. The tapping increased with his rage. 'This isn't going to be my life, I shall not live in fear!' He thought to himself. James closed his eyes and sighed. If only it was easy as that. His eyes were still closed when Rachelle spoke about the rations she had received, his stomach rumbled at the mention of jam. How long had it been since he had eaten that apple? He raised an eyebrow. "She wouldn't have happened to give you enough for two would she, love? he asked.

Rachelle looked at the bag. "She gave me a lot. You want some?" She looked up at him and smiled and gave him a loaf of bread. But than a playful mood went into her, "If you want it, come as get it." She held it out for him.

The playful grin that James was so fond of returned to its rightful place. Rachelle wanted to play did she? It would be ungentlemanly of him to not oblige. He jumped of the rail in an instant, landing in front of the deck hand. With a playful look on his face. "Now, now, love. Don't tempt me." The young pirate held his hand out and gazed deeply into Rachelle's eyes silently trying to convince her to do this the easy way. Though he had no problem doing it the hard way.

Levi smiled and pulled the bread away from him. "I'm sorry I can't do that my dear." Her voice tempted him to reach for it. She than took a step back. Rachelle leaned into him and blew into his ear. She than used her speed and ran to the rail.

James smiled and nodded as Rachelle passed by him. Clearly she didn't know who she was dealing with. 'Sasha could learn a bit from her.' He thought to himself as he jumped back cutting the distance between them almost instantly. James hung upside down from one of the sail's main ropes smiling looking Rachelle in the eyes once again. "Listen, darling. You don't want to do this I am as fast as I look." he joked with his ever egotistic charm. His hand was once again out hoping she would realize trying to run from him would be in vain.

Rachelle smiled at him. "It's a good thing you're cute." She was about to hand him the bread when her heart began to ache, than her stomach grumbled. Rachelle handed him the bread and ignored the pain. "I could play more, but my stomach is more powerful than my will to play." Rachelle sat on the ground like a preschooler and got a jar of strawberry jam out. She tried to open it, and tried again, and again.

Mood: Kinda lonely
Thoughts: -no thoughts-

Sky had stayed below deck in the sleeping quarter areas. Though she was a curious creature, she does get afraid of being out in the open where there were humans about. Once she walked through a town, some kids pulled on her tail and tried to catch her. Little humans are scary things! Ever since that day, Sky stayed clear of highly populated towns until night fall. Maybe she could go quickly into the forest? Sighing a little, Sky got up and flew out from below the deck and looked around, seeing no forest nearby. In dismay, she landed on the deck, with her ears lowered. The air smelt like dust, sand and salt water. Nothing interesting. Then there was a strange sound coming from within the port town. The sound is hard to describe but it made different sounds like a bark or a bird. Sometimes just a constant wooo. ((sorry its so hard to describe a didgeridoo)). Sky's ears perked, listening to the sound.

James dropped down gracefully next to Rachelle. "I see you were as hungry as I." He said jested. He sat down and watched her tussle with the jar, James cold do little but smile at the rather cute scene. He took a bite out of his bread trying to decide whether or not to help, but then his train of thought took a different direction. He had to find out about his darker side. Was being part vampire such a hindrance to the world that the only plausible way of of dealing with him was death? Surely not. He'd have to go into town and hope he could find some information. He took another bite of the bread, then stood up. "Well Rachelle my dear. We must part ways for a short while, My heart shall miss you every second I'm away. You are not to follow me." He patted her gently on the head. The jumped onto the dock " If by some sort cruel twist of fate I don not return, please Let Sasha know that I've always loved her. Tell her this: Sasha, love. Believe me when I say with enough time I would have melted your icy heart." James could barely control his laughter. "Can you do that for me darling? Those exact words? I'm sure you can." He answered the question for her then strolled into town hesitant, and slightly afraid but determined to gain some knowledge.
