Soon, both of the men landed on the ground. The vampire lost his balance and fell; spraining his ankle. Tumbling, they went down the higher grounds to the lower grounds. The fox was lucky enough to fall on top of him, unhurt. Most unlikely for the other male, his other foot ceased to move and only granted him sickening pain. He winced but then turned back at the fox with angry gleaming crimson eyes. “Look who’s talking while getting unhurt!” he responded with more annoyance in his cold tone. Nevertheless, he almost breathed a sigh of relieve that the other male wasn't bruised or in pain. Still, that stupid fox was oblivious about his concern towards him. His head then quickly turned to the girl when she held out a loud yelp at them. It surprised him when he caught a glimpse of her body. His face was blossom red again. “I-I ca..can explain!” he stammered and waved his hands abruptly, trying to look away when the girl quickly covered herself and went deeper into the steamy water. The vampire then quickly flashed the fox a scowl when he blamed him for peeping on the princess. No frigging way he’ll ever dare to peep on her or become a peeping Tom! “W-What?! Tomoe you idiot! Stop adding fuel to the fire! Y-You’re the one who came here first!” Kei grunted, his face was getting redder. Though what’s even surprising was when Tomoe started to kiss him with more passion. “S-Stop… To..moe! Urgh!” he struggled. At last the vampire managed to push him away. “Cut it out!” he yelled at him and wiped his mouth. “Tch…I sprained my ankle…” he winced at the pain and groaned slightly.

Kei was rather amazed. He heard the princess yelled at him; wanting the fox to take care of his injury. He felt...glad to know that the princess did worried about him. His usual bored frown turned into a relieved smile. Then he remembered; the word of friends rang in his head. Just much as he had ever concerned, his relationship with her was only master and slave. That happiness somewhat drained from his face but he kept the smile on whenever he could. It is the job of a master to keep good care of their slave anyway...It wouldn't be unusual of her to worry about him, likewise. "Princess...." he mumbled somewhat with a very untypical jumbled up feelings. Saddened, impressed and shocked all together in him. He wasn't really surprised to have the fox carried him bridal style once more, still it got him a little. Whenever the sprained ankle was being a hindrance, he winced and hissed angrily. It's only a matter of time for his injury to heal very quickly like a normal vampire would do. The only different thing about him was being a half demon and half vampire. Though his demon side was the only part that hate sunlight and got a little lightheaded under it.

Kei glanced at the sad fox as he apologized. He shook his head slightly with a wry smile."Geez, don't make that face. You're making me feel bad." he spoke. "That's nobody's fault, okay?" he reassured the fox and squeezed his shoulder slightly. "But don't think I have already forgiven you for landing on top of me, you punk." the male grinned and glared at him jokingly. As soon as they reached the campsite, the fox instantaneously carried him to the princess's tent and rummaged for bandages. He quietly sat on the ground that seemed comforting enough and stared at Tomoe idly. He winced slightly when the creature applied pressure n his ankle, massaging it. It hurt him even more though. He knew it was the only way to get the pain to go away but it still hurts him. "P-Please be a little more delicate on it...it hurts a lot!" he told the other and letting out a pained hiss from his lips. He then bit his finger.

The vampire laughed humorlessly. "At least you're not hurt anywhere." he responded at the fox in an irked tone. He was soon brought to the girl's tent to treat his injury. all he could do was complaining at the fox about how lousy he is and how painful it gets when he massaged his ankle. Guess the fox wasn't so use with being delicate besides kissing him. He scoffed at the unskillful fella and remained silent. The atmosphere was rather....quiet. Talking about that, the prince was pretty silent a bit. No rambling or complaints. That's a good sign, he thought and sighed a bit.

Other than hissing in pain the vampire then looked at the princess when she rushed in and told the fox that she could handle it. It relaxed his sprained ankle a bit when the girl massaged around the area. It was a bit painful like how the fox did but not as much as how he first did. She was being...careful and very gentle on it. Kei glanced at the princess with a contented smile as she cupped his foot and massage it gently. The pain was still there but not in a large dose. "Yeah, a little..." he told her. He winced when she massaged his bruising ankle. "But it doesn't matter. As long as it heals, I won't even care about the pain." he reassured the girl and tried to endure te pain some more. "It's pretty embarrassing to have you tend my injury...It's just so...uncool for a guy. Unless you're my mother. You know, my mother always do this kind of thing when I was young. I get all hyperactive and tend to get lots of injuries when I was venturing some places." The vampire started spilling out a few of his background story to the princess. It was actually his first time to talk about his mother with someone else. "I wish my mother is still here. A-anyway, let's forget about that." he laughed humorlessly again and scratch the tip of his nose slightly. His eyes was a bit of hesitant and his mouth opened and closed for a few times like a fish gasping for air. No words came out. Perhaps he was too shy to ask for her help. He gulped and started sorting out words he could use. "If you don't mind...could you please help me change the bandage for the wound on my upper arm and wrapped the one for my bitten leg?"

The vampire relaxed slightly when she lifted her fingers. She told him that he was clumsy and always hurt himself in the end. Getting a little wounded was only momentary for him. Eventually it'll heal. He smiled teasingly at her a bit. "I'm not hurt that badly. You're being a mother hen, Elizabeth. That doesn't suit you at all." he joked, ruffling her hair gently with his carefree grin. However, when she asked if his mother was alive, his smile turned into a pitiful frown. He looked away sadly and shook his head. "She's not....My mother....she passed away from a sickness when I was around 12." he told her, fidgetting his fingers anxiously. "The only person that understand me the best was my mother. She know that I love to spend my time reading, playing at the garden and goes to the woods for adventures. She knew I like candies very much and she knew I hate the dark. Those things I used to being scared of was pretty obvious but not many of my family members take note of that. My mom was very much of a concern woman. She cares a lot. Father was very happy to have her until she died....He became cold. I know that feeling. I know the feeling of being left alone. He suffered much more than I actually do. But what could I do? She's already dead. even if she's not sick, she'll eventually die out of age." he explained, spilling out more of his bio. "...Humans are mortal..." he said, sad and angry at the same time.

Kei remained silent after that. The girl helped him with his injuries. "Thanks, I guess." he sighed, unrolling his sleeves once she had done wrapping the new bandages around his upper arm. Lying down next to the girl, he closed his eyes fot a moment. The silence was somewhat troublesome....He then opened his eyes again and turned his head at her. His curious red eyes stared at her worried blues. "Could you please stay by my side? U-Uh I mean, I don't want to stuck with that stupid fox. He's very annoying. I doubt I can even rest when he's around." he blushed as he tried to explain himself. The man didn't want to wake up alone. "I get all lonely very easily."

The male watched as she rummaged through her bag and for a candy. She then handed the delicate wrapped caramel candy into his grasp. His face was a bit of amused and surprised. He did remember that she said she had a bag of candies with her. It was amusing for her to bring along for the trip. He then tightened his grip and kept the candy in his pocket for later. "Oh...I...huhh, nevermind....You really are a kind girl. I might as well as starting to call you mother hen already" he laughed again when he laid back down. Though his face showed that he was worried about her. "Sorry...I was being selfish. Don't wear yourself out, okay?" he sniled sadly again and sat up. He leaned closer just to land another kiss on her cheek. "Good night" with a small blush on his face, the man kissed her good night on her cheeks and laid himself back down. He quickly drifted into a deep sleep. He dreamt. He dreamt of his mother and his sister. Three of them were at the garden, relaxing and having fun. The younger him tried braiding his sister's hair before. It was barely made but still a great success for him. His mother laughed and praised at his skill. Then his father came, hugging him and brought him high up the sky. The time when he ever heard his father laughed. He remembered. How he wish of that sweet memory to return to him. He started crying in his sleep.

Life was being a cruel maiden for Kei. It stole his mother away from him, his sister was then ill-bound and his father lost himself. Everything turned upside down for him. The vampire went on crying until he felt a finger wiping his cheek gently. A soft whisper and a hand held his with familiar warmness. The small hand that gently took hold of his hand woke him a bit. Kei opened his eyes lazily, catching a glimpse of the princess. He smiled and went on sleeping. Slowly drifting into a dreamless slumber with assurance. The girl will be by his side when he soon woke up in the morning.The night passed and morning came. Instead of the nightly wildlife lurking around the area, the male heard chirps of the birds. The same dizzying sunlight that tried to peek through the canopy of the trees. The gushing river water near by.

The male sat up a bit, looking a bit cranky as usual. He tossed and turned that night when he slept but his hand still held by the girl. He smiled. Raking his bed hair with his free arm, the vampire formed a small smile on his face with his drowsy eyes. "Good morning sleeping beauty. I hope you slept well yesterday" he chuckled, tucking the hair that almost covered her face.

The male smiled, noticing the princess retrieved her hand away from his cold one. He rubbed his sleepy eyes anyway and yawned drowsily."Better than ever. My ankle still hurts but I'm okay." he gave her a reassuring smle and stretched his arms into the air. His usual carefree and blunt expression returned. Cold red eyes that looked in distant despite having the girl obviously beside him. "I'm going back to my tent. Hope that nosy prince hasn't awakened yet." He left the warmness the blanket had offered him and the tent that filled with Elizabeth's scent. His eyes looked around, spotting no sign of people still around except the leftover food on the mat and the bonfire exhaled black smoke that drifted up into the air. He walked up to his tent and stood there for a moment. Someone was in there. He was very sure who that would be. With an annoyed face the vampire entered his tent and followed up was a sleeping Tomoe covered under a steel blue blanket. Kei squatted down next to Tomoe despite his injured ankle and regretted. His ankle hurts as soon as he did the said action. Swallowing his grunts, the male poked the fox's cheek. "Hey. Get up." he said yet no respond. He then sighed quietly. "Damn, he's sleeping like a log...Guess I'll just change my clothes. He's a guy anyway." he muttered and started unzipping his sleeveless jacket and then took off his t shirt. "Yeah..There's nothing to be ashame of." he thought, barechested as he grabbed his bag and rummaged for a gray v-neck t-shirt along with his jeans.
