"The scourge are mindless undead, yes. They were once controlled by a being that called himself the Lich King. Eventually we were able to gather together and take him down." One of the scarce times where horde and alliance had managed to work more or less together. Those who had managed to get so far up in the Citadel certainly did not care to war each other. They had gotten that out of the way while getting up.
"Frostmourne shattered when he..." Vael hesitated. This was not something he liked to remember. "When he tried to take us all, to make us his greatest champions. It was the reason Icecrown Citadel was the way it was. Whoever would have been able to get all the way up, were the greatest champions the alliance and the horde would have - and, in the lich king's mind... An unstoppable army of death knights."
"Something must be keeping them in check, though... 'There must always be a Lich King'. That is what Terenas said."
His mate's actions would have it's calming effects, and Zara would settle down a bit, hand reaching out to lace in her's.
"Ulduar has contained Yogg Saron for as long as I have been alive." Which was a long time, indeed. "I don't know what it's previous purpose was. Even the dragons steered far, far away from that place, less the maddening whispers claim us as they claimed Neltarion."
"The cat is another god we know, Rei." He would elaborate for the nether. "Mystery. He might very well be able glimpse things we cannot, and uncover knowledge we do not have."
The dragon settled a bit, sitting down - tail making a wide arc around him, and wings low to the ground, so that they would not get in the way. The simple mention of Yogg Saron made him shudder. It would give the others an idea of the beast they had faced, that day.
"Ulduar's keepers said that they were left behind by the titans... They might also know things we cannot remember. There must have been a purpose to Ulduar, before being a prison."
The dragon paused, thinking for a moment. "I doubt Akakios would know much. He tends to the living, not the dead. Ankou - the Spirit Guide - would know better, I think. If anyone would be able to free the scourge permanently, it would be him."
Vaelrirn frowned. "Do we really have to deal with that freakazoid again ? He creeps the unholy s**t out of me."

"I have no damn idea. No one's ever gone back in there, as far as I know." He certainly hadn't, and had no plan to do so. Too much s**t had went down there.
The few seconds where his soul was stuck in limbo had been the worst moments of his whole life.
"There is Aichen, too." The monk had led them here, after all. "She is a pandaren monk... A mistweaver. She was the one to lead us here, to begin with. She had visions. She saw you in them." He nodded to Xun Jiang. "And the Terrace of Endless Springs..."
He would blink at the arrival of the little whelp, who would shift to be a gnome. Odd, hadn't he seen her before... ?
Vael and Val's reaction were telltale - clearly they were familiar with the god, and had found him quite strange. This amused him. To be honest, he found the Spirit Guide to be quite strange as well. Someone who ultimately meant well in his own way, and someone he had respect for, but still quite strange in his own way.
Though... He remembered what Aichen had said. Oh, no, they could not have... ?
Ti Lung fought back the urge to facepalm. Of course they would have. Val had an hair trigger that had been even worse with the blades' influence, and Vael would have gleefully jumped in right after his sister.
What Zara had to say would distract him. Terrace of Endless Spring ? "What is that terrace you speak of ?"

"Linlin, you are fine. Linlin is one of mine." Croix stated, "This is Rei, Zara, Val, Vael, and Lan. We are just discussing what we know of Azeroth, Linlin. Any information you have would be helpful. We are trying to pinpoint where the greatest problems are and then we will figure out how to help Azeroth best."
Lan nodded to Linlin smiling when she shifted. "Hello, Linlin. So we need to find this death knight, and someone needs to pin the cat's tail down and get him to tell us some of his secrets. If we figure that out, we might be able to see where, when, and how this needs done.
