It was sincere, if a tad unwilling. But at the very least Anues had accepted it and, in one way or another, had acknowledged his willful isolation.
"I'll start writing some of the books in my spare time. At the very least I should be able to match the pace you had to make up for the days off. I write quite quickly when I choose to."
The tip of his scythe could glide across the paper as if he were simply weaving it through the air itself. He wrote really well.
But even with things "handled" it all felt a little bit... shallow to him. He didn't want to seem preachy or condescending (though he surely was as is) but to simply get Anues to do it at this point didn't seem enough. There needed to be something more, even if it wasn't much. There needed to be just a little bit of a push to help make him understand.
And there was perhaps just one thing he could think of.
"...Have you ever heard what I did before joining the guilds?"
