Adrian & Zach
At first Zach wanted nothing more than to flatten the pompus face of Reaver into the ground but one look from Adrian made him reconsider. Zach sighed, "You're right about Kiera I suppose and since I'm not part of her I really can't do anything for it. As for fighting with alchemy, I haven't had to rely on it for a few years now I'm probably rusty." Zach looked at Adrian. Feeling the sincerety in Zach's voice Adrian sighed; Looking at Reaver Adrian quietly spoke on an even tone, "If you two really want to conduct combat then fine do it outside. Reaver, just attempt to let zach refind his alchemic bearings and don't kill him, I've buried him once and would rather not do it again."Zach looked at reaver with a neutral tone in his voice he added one last thing before they went outside. Walking beside Reaver Zach whispered, "In case you didn't notice my brother's last comment it is true I did die before and he had to bury me and mom. Now that I'm back He tries everything in his power to protect me so can you blame him for his reluctance for conflict?" With that everybody took their positions on the dueling field Nikolai had drawn up a little while ago.

 

[Reaver Ikana]

Reaver then walked slowly to his postition opposite of Zach. There was a slight breeze that was causing the end of his coat to ruffle slightly. His hair was also somewhat blowing in the wind. Reaver hand his behind his back. He stood up straight he was 6'4 at full height. He had a more serious looking face now. He wasn't worried but he wasn't sure what this child was capible of. Reaver looked at Nikolai. "I hope that you have some blades avalible, unless he can make his own in which case never mind." Reaver then turned his head back to Zach. "Your move...anytime your ready." Reaver was now thinking of how the fight would go. Zach would probably try to cause an explosion by snapping his fingers. Reaver had learned this from Zaches final entry in the notebook. Reaver knew that if he did that then Reaver would be able to move out of the way and then create a blade of ikarium and attack. Zach would probably stick to causeing explostion which worked fine because he would be able to hear the air starting to ignite before it fully exploded allowing him to move out of the way the only tricky thing was predicting the blast radius. He wouldn't be able to do that until after the first one making that one the most dangerous which is why he had the serious look on his face. Reaver attention was now still on Zach waiting for him to make his move.

Zach
Zach studied the wind patterns subconciously, taking his time to study the wind flow around him. Hearing Reaver's comment to start Zach smiled a slight smile of mischief opening his side pouch and withdrawing some steel shards. Closing the bag he clapped together his hands and with the steel shards he touched a stone pilar. From it he combined the materials and withdrew a finely crefted sword appropriate for his size. "This should do finely... The winds are restless today though," smirking a little he traced a target mark in the air and his spiritual energy fluctuated. "Hope you don't mind a little company Reaver. Meet my shadowy emmissary," Zach chuckled as his shadow became independent of Zach and sttod up beside him. The shadow smiled an evil smile, as the two rocketed off flanking Reaver at break neck speeds. As a precaution Zach readied another alchemic transmutation to take place as he lent energy to the shadow to preform a firestorm. (*Firestorm= By combining mass amount of energy and calculating wind patterns Zach can channel his flames into huge plumes of firey tornadoes that move about creating a litteral storm of flames.)

"Ooooo more things to hurt." Reaver said with a smile as the two started moveing. And then came the fire tornados thaat were closing in on him. Reaver giggled and then held out his right hand. the light alomost white liquid Ikarium flowed from his hands forming a long broad sword. the blade was around four feet long and the hilt was a little more then one foot. The sword became solid except for the core of the hilt which was still liquid so that Reaver could break down the sword and retrn it into his body if he wanted to. Reaver then stuck the sword into the ground and raised both of his hands palm up. He then began controling the energy around the fire. and since the fire was also producing energy he had a stronger grip on the flames. Reaver then closed his hands into fists and spun around causeing the tornados to unravel into a huge ring of fire. reaver then broungt his hands down causing the ring to come to the ground. He then outstreched his arms to either side and opened his palms he quickly bent his elbow then straightned them again cause the ring to send outward like a wave of flames. Because it was a ring this attack would be directed at oth Zach and his shadow. The flames would then disperse after twenty feet past the two of them. The flames were about ten feet tall. reaver then grabed his sword while the flames were approaching the both of them. He smiled. "This will be easier then i thought." Reaver said to himself.

Zach & Adrian
Seeing that Reaver had indeed turned his own attack against him he quickely placed one hand on the ground as he had already clapped them together earlier, purposely creating a pillar of earth to hit him launching himself with the momentum he had accumilated by running at high speeds to catapault himself about fifteen feet above the ground. "You'll have to do better than that Reaver to burn me with my own flames!" Zach chuckled as he began to free fall back to the ground well past the wall of flames. At about the same time Adrian, seeing the massive wall of flames summoned on Dante's spiritual energy. Quickely converting his dagger into a sizeable long sword about four feet from hilt to the tip of blade, crafted with the finest of materials it was stronger than any blade Adrian had ever come up against. A large blue circular gem was seated in the center. "Sorry Reaver, no torching my house."Adrian smiled wickedly, his eyes glowing a mild crimson as Dante began to take over. Immediately after uttering those words, Adrian now semi possesed, swung the blade perpendicular to the encroaching fire wall; The spiritual energy released was enough to send a painful 115 mile an hour gust of wind through the entire battlefield extinguishing the flames almost instantaneously. Unfortunantly any body not behind shelter or practically cemented to the ground would be sent flying or feel extreme pain as the gust hit them. "Do not make me release my fury you reckless pea brains," Adrian barked still possesed. Gaining control back from Dante, Adrian retunred himself to control of his body. Feeling weak he collapsed into a nearby chair, the sword already returned to its original dagger state. In the process of extinguishing the flames, Adrian obliterated his brother's shadow. Thus consequently as the fallen shadow reconnected with Zach, the child felt the extreme pain that the shadow had felt. "ARGH! Adrian why would you do that!?" Zach shouted in pain as he crashed into the ground. Struggling to stand up Zach was in imense pain, both arms bleeding, one of his knees bled profusly under his now torn black pants. Zach's jacket stained with dirt and blood hung limp around its master's neck and shoulders. Zach's hair was now all over the place, blood and dirt spattered like paint all through out it. "Damn, that hurt. However, I'm not down yet so don't think this over Reaver," Zach spat some blood in the general direction of where a cloud of dust had shrouded the spot Reaver had been standing in. 'I hope you felt that blast and got blown away,' Zach thought to himself as he tried to get his vision to clear, his head aching from the blast.

Reaver smiled as the possesed Adrian sent the gust of wind towards them. reaver switched to a staggered stance with his side forward. Reaver had a look on his face as if saying "is that all?" reaver haled his left hand uot creating a barrier of energy that absorbed the wind that would have struck him and transfered it into his own shield. Reaver then dropped his left hand dispersing the field. "Oh shut up you idoit. You can't even take complete controll over a boy, so I doubt you could hurt me." Reaver said to the possesed Adrian. He then saw him collapse. "See what i mean? Weak." Reaver then looked at Zach. "Awww did your friend go away? Seems to be hurting you pretty bad." Reaver smiled and was now facing Zach. He was still in a staggered stance with his left side forward and the Ikarium blade in his right hand. "So.....lets see how much fight is left in you." Reaver had a smile on his face taunting Zach. Reaver was waiting for an attack.

Dante & Zach
Zach looked at Reaver as the minor dust cloud wisped away. Seeing Reaver almost untouched by the massive force that both he and Adrian had unleashed somewhat disturbed him. 'Damn, is there nothing that can hurt this guy?' Zach thought to himself. Finally it clicked. "Reaver, you didn't get hurt by either blast of energy that was sent your way did you? that leads me to wonder what you really are; so if you wouldn't mind when this is over if we could have a little discussion," Zach smiled lightly. At that moment the spiritual energy that had been in Adrian known as Dante emerged from Adrian fuming at Reaver's comment. with an outraged attitude soaked with cockyness Dante shouted at Reaver, "You insolent fool! If I wasn't bound in spirit form I would kick your pompus A** to kingdom come with my swordsmanship! Your arrogance is quite sufficating, mortal." Dante was rather compossed now as he knew that Reaver probably couldn't here him being a spirit and all. The other reason he had to quickely compose himself was so he wouldn't spill his true intentons with Adrian. Zach was still meanwhile struggling to get his eyesight to properly refocus. Suddenly Zach chuckled slightly to himself realizing what he had in his jacket pocket; a small ball or at least that what it looked like. In reality it was a little "toy" that Zach had found in Psyren, basically from what Zach had observed in the past was that a small transmutation to the ball would cause it to explode into several hundred needlelike shards of titanium-steel alloy flying about at almost moch speeds and damn near impossible to avoid. Now if only he could just get it under Reaver and detonate it. As Zach pondered his thoughts he relalized that Reaver could be prepairing an attack. It was only a thought but he wasn't taking any chances. 'Just incase though,' Zach thought to himself, he conjured his shadow again and connected it to several shadows in case he had to jump through it to avoid a counter attack. Zach did this with such precision that not even Reaver would have noticed, which was saying much considering as Zach observed not too much got by Reaver.
