Hellsing OVA X

What better way to celebrate the recent resurrection of this once great guild than with what just might be the last announcement regarding Hellsing there will ever be? The first full-length trailer for the tenth and final episode of the Hellsing OVA series has just been released! You can watch it here. OVA X will be 67 minutes long and is supposedly set to be released this winter. However, an early 2013 release wouldn't be surprising.

Hellsing has been such a big part of my life for so many years, it's hard to believe that this is it. This is the end. There will be no more Hellsing after this. Probably.

*sigh* The end...of Hellsing. I suppose you're right. It's had a long run as a series under production. I mean, first the manga, then the anime, then the American release of them, then the OVA...

It's been a big part of my life too for many years. It really is hard to believe this will be the last of it.

Might be the end of the quality stuff, but maybe not.

Ah, we can only hope for future productions. Live action would be...interesting, if done properly. I just don't want to see one of those cheap knock-off movies... A video game or two would be great! I'm thinking some mix of Fallout, Assassin's Creed, and that one where you were infected with some virus and had great mutations you could use.

Yeah, I kind of think they would be on the cheap side, but if the acting is good sometimes that's fine, like with certain BBC sci-fi. We can hope, anyway.

Maybe the Dawn could turn into a game. It sort of seems like it would adapt pretty well. mrgreen
