You will always see him carrying either his violin or mounted guitar at his back.
❥ｐｅｒｓｏｎａｌｉｔｙ:
Very conservative and a tactless person. He rather speaks what's on his mind and very firm through his decisions. When it comes to love ones, Cain is very protective. He's not very showy when it comes to his emotions and personal feelings. And most of the time, He unintentionally kept on hurting someone against his own expense more likely when it comes to girls who adores him a lot.
A perfectionist, very straight forward and stands whatever He believes is right!
Long-tempered and indeed a very sleepy head during the holy hours of siesta. Though he looked like an easy go lucky kid. Cain is responsible when it comes to school activities, studies and basketball participation. Naive and doesn't take love seriously. But not to be called as a player. He's too preoccupied when it comes to school and his favorite sport.

Arcade specialist- He's good when it comes to playing computer games and arcades. One of the top ranks.
❥ｂｉｏ:Cain, originally came from the Northern along with his parents. Cain is somewhat a semi-introvert and extrovert as the same time. Prefers to be in his room and do a lot of mental games, puzzles and books during his free time. Instead of playing outside along with the other boys, Cain is most seen inside the house reading books and playing computer games. This made him one of the most remarkable child since preschool.
Cain, being the only one child, migrated by the early age of five. They stayed at Shingai Issou District because of his father's transfer of job.
Sadly, young Cain left his friends back there and live a new life at the said place.
Spring time.
While playing at the park during the Sakura's peak season. He met a young girl along with her nanny. And it so happen that this girl is one of their neighbors who soon became one of his childhood friends. They grew, play, and study together. But as time goes by, Cain felt the urge on being separated with her since she seems to be too dependent and too clingy for him.
Cain went away without any word to her, that way, he could go on with his life and she too. Hoping that she would be able to have her own backbone though. He found himself being enrolled at Resonance Skies Academy as a Music Student.

❥ａｐｐｅａｒａｎｃｅ: Arthur has scruffy brown hair, round brown eyes and pale skin. Arthur has a very child-like and delicate face and slightly chubby cheeks.Compared to other boys his age, he is not very stylish at all, he sees fashion and style as a chore and will throw on almost anything that he feels looks decent.
Arthur is not the tallest of boys either, which causes him to feel slightly self-conscious when around people who are taller than him. Nor is he very strong and has little to no strong muscle on his body.
❥ｐｅｒｓｏｎａｌｉｔｙ: At age 15, Arthur is quite mature for his age, he is quite a serious character, but is also able to have a joke and laugh. Although serious, Arthur is still happy but not in an annoying way.
When it comes to interaction with other people, Arthur is relatively outgoing, and has no problem to introduce himself to people he hasn't met before. Arthur strongly believes that you should treat people the way you want to be treated, so he is a very kind and caring person.
Arthur is a very soft hearted male and is incredibly squeamish when it comes to blood especially, the sight even the smallest amount of blood makes him want to gag or even faint depending on amount of blood.

❥ｂｉｏ: Arthur grew up in the big city and was constantly moving houses with his mother, father and sister, who is 7 years older. Despite the constant moving, Arthur was able to make pretty good friends at all the schools he attended, on average, Arthur's family moved about 4 times a year, due to his fathers job as a on-call doctor.
Arthur's relationship with is sister was like any other sibling relationship. There were many cracks in the relationship, but they both knew that they loved each other. Because there was such a vast age difference between them, Arthur found it hard to properly bond with his sister. The relationship with his parents was bitter-sweet, there were the good times, but also the bad times.
At the age of 6 Arthur took an interest in dancing, and all the dancing he can do is self-taught from watching television and watching dance performances. He also took an interest in IT when he was around 12 years old, and has always been interested in computers. He is known to always be taking pictures in his family, Arthur was often seen with a camera, as he loved to capture the scenery of all the different places that he lived.
Due to his passion of dancing, Arthur was on the receiving end of various bullying episodes, at the schools he went to, dancing was always seen as a female activity. Having this happened caused Arthur to hide the dancing side of him whenever he entered a new school to avoid harsh comments from other students at school. Despite the bullying, Arthur has still been able to stay out-going. Feeling that Arthur wanted to go a stable school and be able to stay there until he graduated, his parents sent him to Resonance Skies.

❥ａｐｐｅａｒａｎｃｅ:Darren is a somewhat shorter than average 15-year old, with brown skin just a shade above regular brown, black, curious eyes, black hair, and a small frame. His body is nowhere near athletic; in fact his limbs are somewhat stick-like in appearance. This has been a source of constant agitation for him, since he is trying to gain weight, only to discover that his efforts were in vain and/or insufficient.
A constant with him is his reading glasses; his nearsightedness forced him to use it. Over time, it has evolved into a permanent statement of his; he rarely if ever takes it off, and he is uncomfortable without them. His current glasses are black-framed rounded square glasses.
His clothing when out of his standard uniform is a clean T-shirt and pants, with markings and color varying but usually matching. He chooses this simple pattern not for its style, though that’s a factor that he’s also considering, but because such a style is versatile and comfortable to him.
At times, though, he can be seen sporting a matching hooded duster coat and scarf along with his regular clothing. The usual reason for this is cold weather, though he may use these at times when he feels like it, i.e. when he wants to feel cool.
❥ｐｅｒｓｏｎａｌｉｔｙ:Darren is, in the broadest sense, curious and optimistic. He often pokes his nose around in various places, always trying to learn and figure out something, or someone. His wide-eyed idealism often gets him ridiculed, but that doesn’t faze him in the least; he finds it tiring to keep looking for negativity.
He is quite a nice person, always looking for ways to help others. Though he is not to the level of a hero or a saint, his first priority is to help others with their problems. When asked why, he has no reason for doing so; he just does.
His curiosity also lends to the natural intelligence that kept him on top of his class: there’s not a lot that he’s not interested in learning, and he is quite fast in doing so. Even so, it’s rare that he’d try to learn without a reason for it; he’s more often than not driven by a personal goal. Despite his intelligence, however, he doesn't really brag about it at all, preferring to keep at his own pace.
His awkwardness, former shyness, and intelligence all lend to his status as ‘that nerdy guy’, an image that he is trying to change nowadays. His apprehension about interacting has already given way a long time ago, coincident with his first taste of true interaction with other people.
He is awfully direct and truthful to a fault, as he finds making lies a bit tiring. Often the only times that he lies is when he has made a wholesome promise to do so, or he wishes not to involve others in his own problems.
He may be truthful, but to whom he tells the truth to depend on what kind of truth it is. If it’s something that would help them, he’d tell them immediately. If it’s something that might hurt others, he’d question the receiver intensely and make him promise not to do something harmful with it; and if it’s a personal secret and/or a promise, he might not open up at all unless he is sufficiently pestered and the person really deserves to know.
Speaking of promises, he always keeps his word when it comes to anything; especially those given to his friends, crush, or love. He also finds it painful when others break their own promises without a good reason.
And on reasons: he is quite understanding of things, and would listen to a good reason with patience; provided that it is indeed true. He himself is a follower of such, ready to explain himself when needed.
❥ｃｈａｒａｃｔｅｒ ｆｌａｗｓ:
✖Has a harsh guilt complex – Darren has an unusual tendency to feel each and everyone’s pain as his own. It’s fine while it remains just a part of his kind personality, and a catalyst to his actions. The problem starts when it turns into a grief-based form and amplifies itself to suicidal and self-sacrificial levels.
✖ Easily angered and/or broken in an irritated state – Even caring people have limits, and Darren’s is when certain things are done and/or too much pressure is put on him. Once passed, anything could be a source of his anger and/or breakdown.
✖ Awkward and accidentally insensitive – Several years of being estranged from society would do that to anyone – Darren is quite prone to saying and doing things that might hurt someone and/or make him or her uncomfortable, often without his knowledge and/or intention.
✖ Not athletic at all – His build just isn’t suited to the hard sports. He’s more of an intellectual type if anything. He isn’t sickly like most examples, but he easily gets tired in sports. Not only that, but he’s also inexperienced in a lot of sports – pretty much the only one that he’s tried at all is badminton.
✖ Self-deprecating – He often doesn’t recognize his talents, and denies it more often than not. However, he isn’t one to hide his talents either – it’s just that he tends to insult himself while at it.
✖ Slightly perverted – He isn’t too keen on openly sharing it, but Darren has a fetish for nicely-shaped midriffs, especially those that are tastefully exposed. He is often trying to catch a pretty girl in the act of doing so, but is otherwise not interested in other ‘male’ antics.
✖ Acrophobic, and scared of pain – He gets nervous when trying to tackle high places, especially those that are open-sided, like, say, ladders. He is also quite frightened of anything that may harm him or cause pain, up to and including strenuous sports, various animals, and needles. This extends to psychological pain, too: he often plays safe when he knows something or someone might hurt and/or humiliate him through words, actions, and/or attitudes.
✖ Easily bored – Curiosity has its trade-offs – he has a tendency to get bored with uninteresting things.
✖ Blunt – He doesn’t see the point in saying things beyond what they really are, and he will speak his mind when he feels it is needed.
✖ Often misreads messages – Directly related to his guilt complex, he often takes messages to mean major mistakes on his part.

❥ａｂｉｌｉｔｙ:Refract - Darren can refract light in a way that causes them to look displaced from their actual location. In other words, he would appear a foot or so distance away from where he’s actually standing. This lasts a couple of minutes at most.
❥ｔａｌｅｎｔｓ:
Piano playing – It started off in a burst of inspiration from seeing his classmate – and former crush – play the piano during a certain school program. It eventually gained a life of its own.
Singing – It’s just a minor hobby, he says, but it’s actually a trait passed down from his mother. He’s a bit embarrassed by it due to his cracking vocal cords, despite the fact that it’s just on occasion that it becomes apparent.
Fast learner – It doesn’t take long for him to learn something, as long as he has the proper things to learn from. He tends to retain this as well.
❥ｂｉｏ:Darren was born to a pure-blood Filipino family, the first-born of three. Experiencing his early years in an exclusive village, he was unable to interact with other kids in the area, though there were times when he could play with the kids in their relatives’ place. All he had for companions were books, the TV, the computer, his parents, and his siblings.
When he was five, they moved into a wood-and-concrete home in the province. He started his formal learning in a private school, almost always garnering top honors. This was a source of a bit of envy from his classmates, a concept that Darren didn’t understand.
Soon enough, the envy turned into something more, and the bullies came into his life. It wasn’t much at first, but it quickly escalated into things best not mentioned. Being a pacifist, and not wishing to get anyone in trouble for his problems, he kept silent about these incidents. What he didn’t know was that these incidents would define the next stage of his life.
As he reached the fourth grade, the harassment became overwhelming. There, he began playing a defensive pattern, excluding himself from the others, and attacking those that tried to break the shell. This point was one that he now deeply regrets, as it was the point where he actually removed himself from society.
He was about to forever stay an antisocial know-it-all when a person brought him out of it, gave him inspiration, and showed him a purpose. That person was his former crush, Isana. She was a half-Japanese, and she was beautiful, with fair skin and a matching soft personality.
The seed was a performance at a certain school program when he was in the sixth grade. To others, it was simply a performance of a singer and a pianist working together. But to Darren, it was the moment that shifted his world view. Inspired, he began pulling his loose ends back together, all in an effort to impress her. He took piano lessons, fixed himself up, and started coming out.
Impress her he didn’t, though, as he found out a year later. His actions, most notably his admission of love, made her uncomfortable, and she told him in no uncertain terms to just ‘be friends’. This hurt him terribly, thinking that he did hurt her.
But no sooner after he began to sink did he find that those people he tried to go with (emphasis on ‘tried’, he was quite awkward, and it took a while for him to learn proper social skills) came around and showed him just how far he had already gone, even without her as a driving factor. There, he began to see that making friends and helping people is happiness in itself. He snapped out of his previous behavior, and finally gained a definite smile.
Barely a few days after that, he accidentally casted a Refract and discovered his element of light. This was a game-changer; this meant that he had the potential to enter a magical school.
Though he really didn’t want to go, he went with his parents’ wishes to send him to the Resonance Skies Academy, as they saw a better future for him there, and not to mention he wasn't entirely unwilling anyway. And with a tear, he bid his friends farewell and started a new chapter…
…where his story truly starts.
❥ｌｉｋｅｓ:
✔ Honesty – Darren really wants people to be real.
✔ Making friends – He’s quite willing to make friends, given the chance.
✔ Knowledge – To him, knowledge is power.
✔ Cats – He loves those little furry friends. It helps that all their family’s pets were cats.
✔ Robots - Those are awesome!
✔ Music – This is actually part of the reason why he decided to take up piano in the first place. He really loves listening to music.
✔ Helping people – He’s got that hero complex, and he really can’t leave anyone unhappy without feeling bad himself.
✔ Spicy food – Mmm-mmm. He isn’t one to back down from the flame, though this often leaves him burnt up and looking for water.
✔ Seafood – Fish, shrimp, crab, tofu – you name it, he likes it. Just leave out the bony and inedible parts.
✔ Creating things – Sandbox games and building-block toys are his tools, and he likes them a lot.
✔ Literature – Find something good or interesting to read, and he’ll borrow it and read it in a hoot.
✔ Anime and manga – Oh, he’s all over them. Not as major as others, but definitely interested.
❥ｄｉｓｌｉｋｅｓ:
✖ Dishonesty – Seriously, Darren really doesn’t like falsehood at all, especially when it involves hurting others through misinformation.
✖ Dogs, and wild animals – He’s a bit nervous around them, having experienced running away from them.
✖ Too much pressure – There’s only so much that he can take without snapping.
✖ Perversion – Aside from his own fetish, he is averse to other such things. He is also quite inclined to deny his own, though he will tell the truth when properly questioned.
✖ Seeing or getting himself or others hurt – He feels everyone’s pain, and it hurts him terribly to see others or himself getting hurt physically, mentally, or emotionally. It often shreds his soul to find out that he was part of what hurt someone.
✖ Heat, and hot days – It burns him up terribly. He’d rather freeze than melt. At least when he’s freezing, there’s an easy way to warm up: stack more clothes!
✖ Mean people – Oh, do not attempt to hurt anyone within his eyesight. That is a sure way to get his heroic tendency flared up against you.
✖ Getting scolded, humiliated, and/or rejected for no good reason – There’s got to be a reason for everything, and he doesn’t like it if he gets reprimanded for a lame reason, or just for spite.
✖ Cacophony – He tends to react badly when exposed to bad music or noise.
✖ Breaking promises – A promise is a promise, and he is quite apt to remind people of that. Don’t break a promise he has asked you to keep; that’s a sure way to get him to be wary of you.
✖ Being interrupted – He has to finish his stuff first.
✖ Scary things - He's not one to take the dare to play an obvious trap video or game.
❥ｅｘｔｒａ ｉｎｆｏｒｍａｔｉｏｎ:
Darren often hums or sings the music that he really likes. He’s hiding this, but in times of unawareness he ends up showing it.
He speaks two languages: English, and his native Filipino. He can also say broken phrases in Ilocano, and use expressions and honorifics in Japanese. He is prone to slip into these when agitated or surprised, and sometimes he uses them as he feels like it.
