Alone at the Mall

Yesterday, I had to go try on dresses for a cousin's wedding at the mall. I was there two and a half hours early by myself.

I had to wait to meet some family to get the dress and after that, I would still have to wait to get a ride home.

Usually, I would have panicked and hid in a store or just sat outside, but I was able to walk around the mall and sit in the food court and eat without feeling anxious. I still walked with my head down, but I still think that this was an accomplishment.

I hate when I have that extra time... makes me feel like I look foolish out in public. =/ I wouldn't have been able to relax at all.

It was hard to relax, but when you have something to focus on, it's so much better.

Yes, it's a lot easier when you have something to busy yourself with.

When I went to my college orientation this past month I didn't have any clue what to do. I was the only one there without an adult, so I ended up sitting out near the parking lot alone in between my appointments. My dad finally agreed to come down there.
