☆ Cosmo enters the den ★

Cosmo appeared to the entrance of the den, before following Darians order by moving the food for everyone to eat. She approached the pile and began dragging it to the place where they usually settle their captured prey. Once she finished, her ears perked up by the sound of worriness in Iris's voice. Glancing at the feline, she spoke to Darian, "Should we go find Nikita or wait till Azarela comes back?"

Healer

Selnia watched as the Beta came into the dens clearing with one of there warriors and hunters. Listening as he started to order them around. Must be in trouble She thought to her self as she saw him walk over to her and Iris who had just come out from her den.

As Darian explained about the bear in Selnias head she was going though the different herbs that may be needed in case of injury. A smile crept onto her face as he asked about the herbs. "Auctually im in need of False Unicorn Root, Goldenseal, Horsetail and Burdock. But i have other herbs i can use in the mean time as it is unsafe for us to go out while there is a bear around." She said in her sweet voice. Selina enjoyed the company of Darain he was a quite cat but that was one of his quality she loved about him.

Turning to see a very distressed Isis she could see why. If she had cubs well... she would be in the same state as well. Turning from them all she went into her den and started going though her herbs. Im sure i have one in here that will help relax Isis. She thought as she rummaged though finnaly finding what she was after, Aspen. Good for stress. Padding back out from her den with the bark in her mouth she placed it in front of Iris. "chew on the bark Iris. Stressing isn't good for your unborn cub. Im sure we will find Nikita. Shes always wondering off but she always comes back unharmed. You know this. Selina said in her soft soothing voice trying to calm the queen down. Her eyes turned to look at Cosmo and Darian. "May I suggest one of you go see if you can find Nikita? I'm sure she wouldn't have wondered far though that of cause is up to you to decide Darian." Nodding respectfully at the Prides Beta as she spoke to the two of them. Though her mind was telling her that Nikita was trouble and probably had wondered quite far but she didn't want to sat that in front of the worried mother.

Lacey felt someone nudgeing her paw, awfully hard for trying to sothing wake someone. But suddenly she heard ranting on and on about events, duh I am listening please let me wake up. Lacey kept getting more and more irritated, dealing with cub of course she won't start yelling at the feline, but really I must ask. "You did'nt have to hit me and you could have let me wake, Chanda"
Lacey contiued to glare at the mountian loin.
" I heard what you said though and ok."

Chanda

Hunter - 18 Moons

Chanda finished her explanation as Lacey woke up and glared at her. "I didn't hit you, don't be such a baby," she responded, a little irritated at the snow leopard's attitude. Refusing to get herself in more trouble, Chanda turned to head back to Darian so she wouldn't do something stupid. As soon as she started walking, however, she comprehended the conversation and situation. Nikita! Oh no! she thought wildly, worried. Chanda really loved that cub, she had spirit, and she was not happy at the possibility of something happening to her. Turning back to Lacey, furious, she snarled, "And why are you sleeping if there's a cub missing? How could you let this happen?" Chanda growled loudly, ready to tear apart just about everything in her anger.

(OOC- no worries about the layout! And sorry for Chanda getting all mad, I know there were no cubs when you first posted, so its not your fault.)

Darian

Beta - 24 Moons

Darian let out a huff of frustration when he learned that nobody knew where Nikita was. "Don't worry, Iris, I'm sure Nikita is fine," her reassured the worried mother as Selnia brought her herbs. Nodding at the healer's advice, Darian turned to find Cosmo waiting attentively, and Chanda and Lacey looking to be practically at each other's throats. He'd been so busy with the issue of Nikita he hadn't been paying attention to what was going on behind him. Giving his head a quick shake, he focused on how to fix their situation.

"Yes Cosmo, see if you can find Nikita," he told the white tiger, unsure when Azarela would be coming back, and unwilling to leave the cub alone one second longer than he had to. Darian itched to search for the cub himself, but he knew his duty was here, with the pride, so instead he turned to Lacey and Chanda. "Chanda, back off, it's probably not her fault," he said, remembering the delusional way Lacey had acted earlier. If the cub watcher had been injured somehow, Nikita might have as well. Doubly worried, he added, "Lacey, go with Cosmo and help find Nikita." She ought to know where the cub was last, and it seemed best to separate her and Chanda for the time being, he thought. About to turn back to Selnia and Iris, he added one last thing. "Eat something before you go, I don't know when you'll get another chance," he said, in reference to the small amount of food he had ordered left over.

She nodded at Darian's decision by letting her search for Nikita. That cub could be anywhere, she thought. Cosmo then spots Chanda getting furious at Lacey's irresponsibility as a cub watcher while Darian tried to fix this situation. She let out a secret chuckle at Chanda's reaction. Ha, I hope Chanda's going to steam off anytime soon.., she thought to herself before going to the pile of food and snatch a few bits of pieces to prepare for the long search ahead of her.

Lacey

Cub Watcher - 20 Moons

"What theres a cub missing!" "Irises cub?" "Do have any clue were the cub would be" The questions kept comeing. Why was she on the verge of tears, she didn't have a cub, but she thinks all of the cubs our her responsiblity, which they are, but even when they are the mothers responsiblty for the time, she feels like they are still under her care, her children. Lacey didn't care about a lot of things except for food shelter, ect... But the main thing she must protect are the cubs of the pride, her children.

Chanda

Hunter - 18 Moons

Chanda's tail swished back and forth violently as she quite literally backed away from Lacey, glaring. She was clearly upset at Nikita's unknown absence, and clearly blamed Lacey for it. That or she was trying to find a way to channel her guilt and anger from earlier - most likely a mix of the two. Hissing, Chanda stopped, after having "backed off" about three yards. She looked ready to kill anything that moved.

(OOC- insert Darian's post here! Sorry, trying to keep this all contained as quickly as possible, as Im going to be gone for a week.)

Chanda was unable to calm herself, even at her Beta's rebuke. Usually, she was able to control herself more than this, but something seemed to have snapped in her. With a snarl, Chanda turned and ran from the den, incapable of disobeying orders even when she couldn't make her obey herself. Chanda's golden-brown form disappeared quickly into the forest.

(OOC - Once again, sorry for having Chanda so mad at Lacey! I just needed an excuse to send Chanda away for a while and that seemed the most viable one. Also, I'm sort of god-modding that Chanda knew which herbs to get, because this will be my last post for a week and I don't have time to roleplay out her finding out which herbs, sorry about that, but I didn't see any other way, hope that's okay.)

Darian

Beta - 24 Moons

Darian walked over to the leftover food as well, hoping to eat a little something while there was a spare moment. As soon as he took a bite, however, he heard a hissing from behind him. Dropping the food, he whipped around to see Chanda hissing at Lacey, who was simply worried about the lost cub. Letting out a growl, Darian glared at Chanda, upset by her inability to stay in line for two whole seconds, and sick of her behavior in a time of possible crisis: "By back off, I meant leave her alone, Chanda. Clearly you are unable to act as a member of the pride right now, so for now you will not be working with the pride." Stepping closer to her, and speaking in a low, dangerous voice, he ordered, "You will go away from here, and find the herbs Selnia needs. Don't come back until you can act like you belong with us."

With that statement, Darian turned away from Chanda, refusing to acknowledge her any longer. After he heard Chanda leave, he turned to Lacey, and said, "I hope you will be able to forgive Chanda when she gets back, I'm sure she will realize her mistakes." Sick of talking, and tired of being in charge, Darian walked over to the den, and sat down, although not in a lazy way. He waited attentively for any sign of danger or of Azarela's return, trusting Cosmo and Lacey to know what to do to find Nikita, and the other pride members to do what was necessary.

(OOC - It seemed infeasible to me that Darian would leave the den at this point. I couldn't come up with a reason that worked for me, so I'm leaving him here. Just god-mod any actions of his that have to do with your character (YOURS ONLY, unless you are Fire, or Nightshade, please.), so that the roleplay can continue. And be reasonable please. Hopefully this won't be a problem, and you can roleplay around him. If not, Fire or Nightshade can move him somewhere, I don't mind. Thanks! And good luck with everything! I'll see y'all in a week.)

Iris

Isis nodded her head to Senia it was better to do as the healer said rather than argue. She was right. Nikita always wondered off but always came back maybe with a scratch or two and hearing how she could be harming her unborn cub she quickly folded her paws underneath her and layed her self down. Moving her head to take the bark that was given to her in her jaws.

As she started to chew the bark Iris felt a lot calmer though unsure if that was from Selnia's voice or the bark. Looking up at Selnia she gave her a cat like smile and purr. "Thank you Selnia. I feel much better." She said softly as she lowered her head back to chew the bark. Closing her eyes to rest and feel her body relax some more.
