If you are new to the guild, which most of those who come to this thread will be, given the name, then it is important that we set some ground rules. Now, it might seem odd that in such a straight-forward guild as this one that we should have to set down any rules, but it is necessary.

"But in a guild like this, who would need to read any rules? We're against hate, so pretty much everyone should have common courtesy, right?"

You would think so, but you'd be wrong. Even among those who share our mindset, there are many who need to be given a reason to be respectful of others. It's unfortunate, but true nevertheless. Some people are just going to be rude. Now, I'm not proposing that we should all be best friends, but we should at least be able to discuss things in a civilized manner.

That being said, let's get down to brass tacks.

Rules:

1. You will treat your fellow guild-mates with respect. This means:
-No name calling.
-No mean-spirited comments or remarks.
-No religious/political debates outside of the designated threads.

2. You will mind the authority figures of this guild. If any member of the staff, be they Crew, Vice-Captain, or Captain (me), issues a warning to you, you will respect them and obey what they say.

3. If you observe anyone breaking any of the above rules you will not take it upon yourself to warn them (unless you happen to be part of the staff). You will report it to a member of the guild staff and they will handle it (although they will likely have seen it on their own, so don't report these things unless a decent amount of time passes without action on the part of the crew member(s) in charge of that forum).

4. If any member of the guild insults you via PM, notify a member of the guild staff and they will handle it. To avoid false accusations, though, you will be asked to forward the insulting message to the staff member you made the report to. If you cannot provide proof you will be punished instead. If you simply don't know how to forward, inform the staff member in question and they will walk you through the process.

These are the rules. If you follow them you will do fine. If you do not, you may find yourself removed from the guild.

If you have any questions, ask me or another staff member via PM and we will answer them to the best of our abilities.
