Once Upon A Time...

Anja returned her attention to the bar in front of her. The bartender insisted on her giving her name. "Anja." She mumbled, not wanting to tell them she was the Piper. She ordered a drink and waited as it was made.

In a state of disorientation and confusion, Alex looks around the tiny cave. He's laying up against a stone wall. It almost seems man-made.. He examines it and finds a small stone door. He pushes it open, and goes inside, shutting it behind him.

Anja took the drink the bartender handed her, taking a small sip before downing the glass. Then she glanced around again, for any sign of recognizable faces.

Alex feels his way down an unfamiliar tunnel for a while, before coming across a fork in the road. The path leading right looks safer, but he has a strange feeling that let is correct. So he heads left, heading down another passageway until he emerged into what seemed to be a loud, if rather lower-class, tavern. He scanned the room, hoping not to see any guards.

"Well, well. Look who got away after all." Anja called out to Charming from the bar as he came into the room.

"What..?" He looked around confused at who called his name. He saw a woman looking right at him grinning knowingly though he didn't recognize her. A shot of fear went through him. What if she works for his father? What if she was going to turn him? Was this all a trap? He started booking it for the other door in the tavern-cave,

"Relax." Anja called back, turning innocently in her chair. "I won't make you go back."

He eyes the woman suspiciously. "Who are you, and how do you know me?"

((I was kind of aiming for that they knew eachother already, but this works too xDD))
"I'm Anja." She said with a mischevious smile, completely ignoring his second question.

(Oh..oops.. hahaha)

"Anja. Well, can you tell me Anja, how you knew I was escaping?" He asked.

"Well, let's see.. You crashed into a tree in a hurry, shortly after, palace guards appeared, charging at full speed, and you run off again." Anja listed, counting on her fingers. "It really isn't that hard to piece together." She said with a grin, leaving out the fact that she knew from the fact that she had been in the palace when he'd left.

"You saw all that?" Suddenly a little sheepish, embarrassed about crashing into the tree.

"I was in the tree you hit." Anja admitted. "So, yes. I did."

Alex sinks into one of the chairs. "O' spirits above.."

Anja sighed, she suddenly felt rather sorry for the Prince, although she was working for his father. "It happens to the best of us." She said consolingly. Then she turned to the bartender and asked for another drink. She would need quite a bit to keep the betrayal of these people she knew, or would get to know, off her concience.
