Well I'm sure all of you like Korean pop culture, and most of you don't understand well here are some simple phrases and words you would hear in basic kpop songs and korean shows if you listen closely.
Fist of all introductions. Most of the time they will introduce themself by saying hello and their name.
Annyongsaeyo <---- This means 'Hello'. You say 'hello' this way when talking to elders or to someone you may not know very, or just meeting. This is a way of using your manners and being polite.
Annyong <---------- This is how you say 'Hello' imformally. You would usally say this to friends.
After saying 'Hello' You want to introduce yourself. To this you will add 'imida' to the end of your name. For example. "Shimmy Maknae imida."
So to put this all to together it would be:
"Annyonghasaeyo! Shimmy Maknae imida"
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Also, Some words that you would behearing offten are 'Oppa', 'Noona' and 'Sunbae'
Oppa meaning and older brother/male to a female that she is close to.
Hyung meaning Older male to a younger male.
Noona meaning older sister/female to a younger male.
Unnie meaning an older female to a younger female.
Let's put these into context using something that we all understand, KPOP, I will use these words behind different Kpop icon names. The sentence will be in english so there will be no confusion.
Oppa: Hi Joon Oppa!
Hyung: Yah! Onew Hyung, what are you doing?
Noona: Dara Noona is so pretty.
Unnie: Tiffiny Unnie has such nice legs, I envy here.
