Even though you're currently looking for color... I can't resist offering because Rift in Stone is like a more haughty, aloof version of Edge. He only cares about strength (physical more so than mental, but you shouldn't be stupid either). And he's a Chasm and she's a Precipice. They're even name matchy~ Even though their two base browns are similar, her bands in the lighter brow are different from his and he has the darker (more red if my sense of color is correct, purplish?) brown as well.

I prefer with Edge, and if he's capable she'd bang him lol, but I think their browns are probably too matchy for a colorist to pick them up sad You're welcome to CC them though!

ALSO, PLOTS WITH ME WITH THROUGH YOUR EYES? c: Rises Again is going to basically be aloof with a superior to all mindset, like a Dragon/apex predator. He only acknowledges his father and Stormborn as having any meaningful existence at all, every other creature is just a fly buzzing around his head - it's not that he takes advantage of other kin, he just barely acknowledges them as sentient and thinks interacting with them is beneath him. (Edge is going to give him a wallop and rock his world one day cool ) But of course, since Through Your Eyes isn't scaly, this will present an interesting dilemma for him because they're blood related but she's clearly not a Dragon :O

Rises Again's plot at the moment is basically searching for other Dragons with his sister Stormborn, and believing that his "species" is the apex species/better than all other creatures. It's sorta elitist, but not in a malicious/makes fun of/ridicules other kin, but in a more predatory/primal way. Like how Drogon wouldn't talk to a horse (if the horse could talk back), why would Rises interact with a kin? The only exceptions are if there's promising news of the existence of another Dragon, kin or familiar - then he'll deign to speak.

Eventually he's going to meet his other sister, Through Your Eyes, who isn't a Dragon and be all "wait... what", and then I think Edge is going to give him a beating and prove her species isn't insignificant, and then he'll come to that whole understanding. It's probably only after that point (at least ICly dated) that he'd be breeding, he's currently yelling at his sister for doing so xD

BUT PLOTS. Yesplease. There's a ton of opportunities falling at whatever point in the above timeline. For instance, some kin could lead him on some wild goose chase about another Dragon and end up with him pissed the f*** off, or when he's starting to doubt the superiority/separateness of his species, a doe could come into the picture. (Damsel in distress style, or strong-willed attractive style, either could work) I'd probably be picky about said doe though (and there's the tiniest chance that it might be Edge) since it sets up nicely for life mating >>

Also, might be looking for Ascension for him eventually, since he's got a surprisingly developed plot line with required RP's which would fill reqs.

Feverfew She can patch him up and be nice even when he's being a nasty little s**t. She'd put up with his ridiculing and all
Wayward She's s singer/traveler and really fond of cryptic answers. Maybe Rises Again catches her singing a song about dragons and he just demands to know more and she can lead him on a wild goose chase.
Rowan Sweet little thing. She would probably fall in love with him and not see any of his faults and follow him around like a lovestruck little girl...
Burning Bush Dreamseer, could tell him he's chasing a ghost or just laugh in his face a lot.

I think plots with Riptide would be cool too, especially since she's related to him. Maybe Kindling if you're looking for a vixen-type character to play with him?

Longclaw something to do w/ Edge? Maybe Edge taunts him saying that he can't even beat her little apprentice so he goes to hunt down Longclaw and they duke it out?

Eee I like a lot of these ideas <3 Going off my favorites/what fits PERFECTLY, I would love to play him with Burning Bush - he'd at once sense she knew more than some normal kin, but try to downplay what she says because she's a Kimeti, and inwardly be affected/haunted by what she says. I'd especially love if she could drop some cryptic/prophetic dreamseer phrases that could haunt him afterwards in future RP's.

And eeeee I really like the idea with Feverfew, it makes me want Edge to really beat Rises up just so he can have that interaction with someone taking care of him lol. This would be good for Edge too, someone to really piss her off. He wouldn't ridicule Feverfew though, he'd just snap at her and pretend he didn't need help all the while reeling about his worldview lol.

I think it'd also be fantastic if he could meet Longclaw, after all of this, but probably just meet him not fight him. Have a sort of brief interaction, maybe talk of Edge and he could point him to her, idk.

I definitely want to snatch you for Burning Bush and Feverfew though. Like, really, really want. I canz has? c:

Your girl is gorgeous, but unfortunately I feel that Squall's been overpaired with tawny neutrals x.x He's already bred with Soft Edges and Idle Wild so I'd have to say no to future babbinmaking, at least with him. Re: friendship, what is she like? c: Also, any sort of friendship will be confined by his tribe - he's a Tidewalker and rarely strays from their territory, unless on Patrol.

A plot rather than a pairing, but I was thinking, since Buried and Firefly are good pals, it would be really cute if both of their new clutches grew up together ic’ly. <33 Buried would want his kids to experience that communal living side of being a Zikwa and it would make sense for him to treat Firefly’s kids like family. X3
