Deke hummed softly as he ate, throwing in bacon or eggs on the stove or toast in the microwave for anyone who pleased to eat. Now and again, there were passerby's that either wanted to cook for themselves or wanted cereal or something else instead which he happily obliged in stepping aside for them to have their way in the kitchen. Glancing out the window in the kitchen, Deke thought it a gloomy day but wouldn't allow the clouds to ruin his fun for the day and would find something else to do -be it play his guitar or tend to anyone in the sick ward. After all, the man had gone and got new supplies, and he whole time he'd been there, he'd been continuing his studying for his paramedic and was nearly finished, next month was his test actually, and the past few weeks the man had been vigorously set in his books and practices, going out for his 'lab nights' when they were held, teaching Alexis and helping whoever needed his help.

In the months that had passed, with the help of Alexis, Deke's wound that had needed stitches had healed nicely and were out 2 weeks after due to the bigger extent of the damage, normal time being anywhere from 7-8 days. Inscribed on his ribcage was the EMS Prayer, on his arms read 'Spectemur Agendo', neatly put onto his back was Semper fidelis the marine core motto, set to his collarbone was a motto he tried dearly to live by. One wouldn't guess he was so tattooed besides his arms, yet now that he wasn't wearing a shirt, there was nothing to hide anything. None of his scars - consisting of gunshot wound to his abdomen and near his heart, a slash mark where his kidney should have been just beneath his EMS Prayer and a few minor scrapes and nicks here and there. However, Deke didn't seem to mind whether any of this was noticed or not.

Yawning softly, the male stretched, eyes falling to his beta, Markus, as the man walked in and requested something to eat. A simple
"Be right up", before the male started cooking not too shortly after making Neena her food. The owl had requested a few meals throughout the stay, but he typically didn't see her eat very much since she seemed quite content with taking walks or reading up in her room - that or she was designing something. DeLacey was next to catch the wolf's attention, pulling dark eyes towards her directions as he gave a slight crooked smile. "Will do. If i need help, you'll be the first to know then, for now though, i'm good. Thanks for the offer" he said simply. When Markus took his plate and washed it off, Deke thanked the man, after all, it was the polite thing to do yes? Thank someone for doing something nice.

Looking out the window again, he'd wait there another half hour or so before cleaning up the mess he'd made when he cooked and walked upstairs, grabbing his guitar, a book and heading into the infirmary. It was here he would check the chart again and deal with whomever needed help, otherwise, he'd open his book and begin to strum idly to some tune in his head.

Inked:

Going down the left ribcage - Ems Prayer
Arms - Spectemur Agendo
Back - Semper fidelis
Collarbone - aHis motto

OOC: Shitty post, i think my OOC is longer than the post xD But i'm running off of like, 3 hours of sleep cause of college. Sorry guys! I couldn't think :/

I finally got around to adding the tattoos to Deke that i forgot to originally, so in retrospect, he's had these the whole time. I just forgot to put them in.

By the way, Spectemur Agendo is a latin phrase for 'Let us be judged by our actions', so if you go to google translate it, and you get something else, don't be alarmed.

Also, i realise i had him with a shirt and shoes before, so pretend i didn't,

On a second note, to any Guild Leader, would it be okay to make a temporary thread for a sign in to the infirmary so i or anyone else's characters can keep easier tabs on what's going on with that?

"I'm sure your father wants to spend time with you. I know he does. He was looking for you earlier, and had asked me to help. But, since I found you first, I might as well keep you all to myself, yeah?" she grinned, but held the child a bit closer. Oh, yes, he was adorable. And even though Tabitha had no real experience in taking care of kids, or really even being around them for too long at one time, she was starting to grow fond of Koda. He was cute, polite, and his father was damn sexy. What was the harm in getting close to the little boy? Besides, maybe he would help her keep her mind off of other things - things that upset her. And together, they would watch a movie that would allow them to relax, not worry about the storm, or anyone else. "Alright, let's go see what movies I have," she said before walking her way to her room, which was only down the hall from where they were at that moment. She'd stayed the night in Spencer's room, so her own was still appropriate to walk into.

Setting the child on the floor, her hand was instantly taken and she was pulled along toward her room. "Hmm, I'm not sure if I have Finding Nemo, or Brother Bear. But we can check! I know I have a lot of movies that you would enjoy, at least." Moving into the room, Tabitha was quick to go over to the nightstand beside the bed, grabbing out the case that held her DVD's in it. "Oh, it is, now is it? They named a bear in a movie right after you? Just for you? Very cool, Koda. Next thing you know, you'll be the infamous kodiak bear!" A soft laugh escaped her as she sat on the bed, pulling Koda up there with her, as well, to sit on the edge. "Alright... let's see..." And with that, she flipped page after page to see what DVD's she had - and of course, found Brother Bear. "Here we are! You wanna watch it in here? Or out in the living room?" she asked, turning her head to look over at the little boy. A smile was strong across her face, and it showed pure happiness. She was glad to be helping the kid forget the fear of thunder and lighting, and instead keep his mind elsewhere. Plus, it would help her, as well.

Standing up, she set the book of DVD's down and glanced at the door. "Let me go make some popcorn, if they have any. And while I do that, you think on where you wanna watch it, okay? Or if you wanna look through the other DVD's in there, go ahead." And with that, she left the room to head to the kitchen.

Upon arriving, she was quick to notice how many people were there, and that there would be a lot of noise. Tabitha figured it would be better to watch the movie in her room, that way none of the others would interrupt them, so Koda wouldn't get upset. Besides, they'd leave the door open in case Oberon came by to look for him. Searching the cabinets, she was quick to find the box of popcorn, and threw it in the microwave after tearing off the package. Two minutes later, it was done. She grabbed a bowl, poured it in there, and without a word to anyone else, she left and went back to her room. "Alrightie, Koda. Let's just watch it in here, okay? There's too many people out there, and it'll be too loud to hear it." Setting the bowl on the bed, she grabbed the movie he wanted and stuck it into the DVD player below the TV, and hit play. "Alright, kiddo. Get comfortable," she said while crawling onto the bed to sit and relax.

Mina looked out the window as they came in to sit, returning to her spot at the window but faced them with her back to the storm, something which she had been so entranced by for the past hour. Her amusements were easy to turn off, or so she thought, after all, she was a snow leopard. And a cub at that. All curiosities aside, the child looked at Keeli as the girl seemed to gripe about not being allowed outside, and truthfully, Mina felt the same way as well. She needed to get outside sometime soon before she felt like she was in a cage, and putting a cat in a cage was like backing a wolf in a corner, the results were never good. Honestly, Mina couldn't see the harm in going outside for just one day, even if it was just for an hour. Right? Nothing could happen to them, right? There were so many adults around, they would just stay in sight! But something in the back of Mina's head seemed drone, her instincts kicking in and telling her maybe this wasn't such a good idea. Hadn't everyone including Emilee had told them not to go outside, that it was dangerous? Sure enough it couldn't be that bad. After all, all the grown-u]s left the house whenever they wanted. Then again, they always took cars and normally always had someone else with them.

What could go wrong? What Mina didn't know, was she would probably regret these thoughts Or maybe not. Who knew.

Either way, Mina couldn't tell Keeli no when she asked so politely if it was possible to go outside later. Biting her lips softly, Mina seemed to think about that very question - her ehart wanted it so badly, but her gut was telling her maybe they should listen to the adults. But as much as she knew she should listen to everyone, Mina really wanted to go outside and she really wanted to make Keeli happen, and Logan and Koda too even. So Mina nearly nodded and gave an uneasy smile, trying to make it follow through to her eyes. Yes, she would go with them if they went outside, after all, she could keep a close eye on them - oh, and she really wanted to go outside. a flash of lightening and the thunder crashed, rattling the house a little and making Mina's eyes go wide and turn around. The lights even flickered slightly within the room they were in and then Koda was screaming and running out of the room. Getting up in a flurry, Mina sprinted to the door to try and see which way Koda went but he'd already been out the door and down the hall before she'd even gotten up. Sighing softly, Mina turned to the two left there and her eyes said everything. They needed to find Koda before anything bad happened. Still, when Logan started talking, she nodded softly and gave a sheepish but worried smile. It was clear she was uneasy, but now she also had something else to worry about. She put her finger over her lips and nodded, as if saying they would have to be quiet and secretive about going outside. AS if they'd get into a bunch of trouble.

Looking back out the door, Mina turned her head both ways to look down the hallway. Turning back to Keeli and Logan, Mina had a confused expression. She was wondering where Koda had gone, and, making a motion for them to follow her as she started down the hallway. They needed to find the little boy before he tripped or something like that. Running down the hallway in a sort of sneaky way, Mina kept her body up along the wall and peeked around every corner and into every room until she rounded one without looking and bumped right into Tabby as the woman was heading towards the kitchen. Making a soft gasp, she withdrew and set herself against the wall, watching Tabby closely to see if she made the woman made. Sure, she hadn't bumped into very hard, but it was enough to startle Mina and scare her a little. The woman was taller than her, intimidating and pretty. She'd seen Tabby mad before, and hoped she hadn't just done that.

If anyone could see Sam's face right now, they would be able to tell he was completely content. Why? Well, he'd gotten some nice release, and it was entirely exciting. Sam didn't usually... rape people. Hell, he'd honestly never really done it before. But this time, he did. And he felt so powerful, too. Power was enough to get him to do anything, as he would kill, rape, torture, and all that other stuff just to feel the small amount of power he did tonight. And boy, did it feel good.

Moving down the hall way as soon as he left his room, Sam went straight for the kitchen. Of course, that meant walking down the stairs and through the foyer and den. But once he got to the foyer, he was quick to take notice of the amount of people that were out on the porch. As if Sam hadn't made it clear enough the first day they had all been put together under one roof, these guys were still outside. Doing what they weren't supposed to be doing: BEING OUTSIDE. Grumbling low under his breath, the lion shifter rolled his eyes before moving over to the door and taking hold of the handle. A quick flick of the wrist was made, and the door was pulled open - giving him the full view of just all of who was outside. Spencer, Lenina, Pepper, and, of course, Adam. Which, at that point, it was the perfect moment for Samael to open the door - considering Adam fell flat on his a**.

Cocking one eyebrow up, the grieco leader looked at the group before making a heavy sighing noise. "I don't know how many times I have to say it, that staying outside is not safe. Even on the porch. Get your asses in here and find something to do. Or maybe a group of you can go eat at Noah's restaurant." Shrugging lightly, Sam looked over at Spencer before glancing at the rest of them. "Whatever you do, stop disobeying me and get the ******** inside." With that, he turned, but left the door open since he knew they would follow. Or... he hoped they would, anyway. Because if they disobeyed, that would put his mood in a negative point, and nobody ever wanted that.

Moving down the hall now, Sam was mainly debating what to do. Not with his time, but with other things. He needed to formulate yet another plan on how to rescue the captive shifters. It had been a month, and things were not in their favor for the time being. It took about a week for the packs to prepare themselves for a heavy attack on the jailcell that was apparently holding the shifters.... but, of course, when they finally did get in there, ready to kill whoever stood in there way, the place was empty. Great. Just great. And that put them back at square one, which ultimately sucked, because they didn't know where to go from there. They had some of the canines try to sniff things out, but it took a bit, considering they had to trace old tracks, as well as separate them from other car tracks and whatnot. But in the end, they knew the general area in the town that the shifters were being held - the only problem was finding the exact house they were in, and getting them out without any casualties. Somehow, Samael would rescue them... and then they would kill those hunters, and put this behind them in the past.

As Lucian continued with his meal, his blue eyes occasionally glanced around the room. There were quite a lot of people in there, though there were a couple that just came and went, but then again it was the kitchen. People did have to eat. Yet, despite all the people, there wasn’t too much talking going on. There was a little bit of chatter going on, mainly from the new girl as she tried to get a hang of the place, which he couldn’t blame her. It was always nice to have a friend when you’re stuck in some new place. Anyways, other than the polite chatter, it was fairly quite in the kitchen. Which was something he found to be a bit odd. He was to the kitchen always being loud and full of voices. Eh, maybe that was just him. Finishing up his meal, the wolverine shifter grabbed his empty plate and fork, and headed over towards the sink. Once everything was washed off, Luca set everything in the dishwasher before turning to make his leave. As he passed the people who just arrived in the kitchen, he gave them a quick “hey” before exiting the popular room.

Where should he go to now, and what should he do? An excellent question, though it was one that Lucian didn’t have an answer to. Right now he was just doing whatever he felt like; going with the flow. Though, that was just a bit hard to do when one had nothing in mind. He knew his guess from earlier was correct. This rainy and stormy day was sure to be boring. All well, he supposed. He’d figure out something to do, hopefully. But for now, Lucian found himself moving over towards the living room, and plopped down on one of the empty chairs. He spotted another guy sitting near him on the couch, and the wolverine shifter gave raised his hand a bit and let out a, “Hey.” He had seen this guy around, though he couldn’t think of the name. Ian? Edward? Ah, it started with an E, or at least sounded like it could have. It took a couple of seconds for the name to pop in his head: Ethan. Yeah, that was it… Right? He wasn’t entirely sure. He had seen the male every now and then, and usually he was hovering around some girl, who he could only assume was his girlfriend.

Ethan, isn’t it?” he asked the other male. Might as well try to make some small talk. It was then that Lucian noticed that the other girl (Moe, wasn’t it?) wasn’t around. From what he had seen throughout the month, those two had been attached by the hip. Whenever he saw either of them, the other one was always around. “How’s your girlfriend doing? She alright?” he inquired. Lucian hoped the other guy wouldn’t mind the question. From what he could remember, the guy’s girlfriend had gotten a little beat up the month before, and gotten sick. It seemed only polite, perhaps, to make sure that his house roomies, for however long that may last, were doing okay.

((I have a feeling I messed up on something in this post :I ))

Koda watched Tabby look through the DVD book. He watched intensely trying to find the two movies he told her that he really wanted to watch. He ignored all the others, trying to focus on what the covers would look like so he could easily pick it out. When the next page flipped he jumped up a little, a grin on his face. She had found Brother bear and he gave a smile towards her. “Lets watch it here.” He said smiling and swinging his legs back and forth as he sat on the edge of her bed. He nodded and watched her leave to get them some popcorn. He stared at the DVD just a bit excited to be watching the movie. He was no longer focused on what was occurring outside.

Koda titled his head up when Tabitha returned. He nodded, and waited for her to crawl into bed first. She was nice, and he was starting to think that she could be his new best friend. Yeah! She was nice and not mean like some of the adults. He crawled across the bed and sat near her, leaning his head against her arm and then he grabbed some popcorn and ate some. “Thanks tabby!” he said before relaxing back against her and turning his attention back to the movie. The young boy would reach into the bowl of popcorn often, taking a handful and shoving it in his mouth. Popcorn in the morning was great! He knew his dad would never let him do it, so it made him feel a bit rebellious at the same time.

Koda tried not to think too hard about his dad, as it would probably ruin his mood. He didn’t know what he would do when he found his dad later. Would he ignore him, for being away? Or would he just forget this whole mess. Maybe he could ask Tabby once the movie was done. Yeah he would do that. She would know the right thing to do, rather then having him just act on his own accord. He gave a smile at the thought and scooped up some more popcorn.

Neena stared up at the sky, her eyes blending smoothly with the clouds above with each little spec, shining brightly as the storm misted her face. Seeing though how the weather was increasingly worsening, the snow owl decided it best to head within the safety of the house before she somehow was electrocuted. Which with her luck, would be possible. Yawning softly and almost hesitantly, small hand fitting over her mouth as she did, the woman pulled herself up, stretched and looked at the rain as it poured. And poured. Either she could run or walk quickly. Either way it would have the same effect - she'd be inside and sopping wet. So, figuring the water would have the same dsired effect, the snow owl just walked at a quicker pace, enjoying the coolness of the day before she was thrust back into the heated house. Oh, that reminded her, was the window in her and Amber's room open? Neena was notorious for leaving it open because she liked the coolness and only remembered to shut one of the two that she always seemed to open. Hey, it was physics! If you wanted a room or a house to cool down, you needed to open two windows due to the rules of air pressure. Reaching for the door, the female attempted to pull it open gingerly but was stopped after finding it locked. "s**t! They forgot I'm out here, didn't they?" with a sigh, the snow owl made a break for the front, this time, sprinting not that it would help much considering how wet she was. Reaching the front steps, she passed whoever was there, gracefully sidestepping around them and entering the front door. Entering the house, Neena was soaked- and that was quite an understatement.

She was dripping wet, her naturally curly hair twisted in tight little wet rings that seemed to cling together in an interesting fashion. Her hat stuck to her head, what little make-up she wore was unaffected miraculously due to water resilience, and her clothes clung tight to her thin but well formed frame. She left a puddle within those few seconds of standing at the front door and walked through the foyer to the living room in hopes that the fireplace was running. Leaving a little water trail where she went, hair clinging to her pale skin and storm eyes shining with a cool look as goosebumps formed on her skin from the climate change, Neena was quick to move and kneel next to the fire. Unlacing her boots, the poor girl began to shiver due to human responses before taking her shoes off and her wet, white little ankle socks. Pulling her hat off, Neena was tempted to ring her hair out considering that's how wet she was as she began to create a puddle where she knelt as she stuck all the accessories she just took off in front of the fireplace.

Neena didn't even realize there were others within the room until those storm silver grey eyes looked around and spotted Ethan and lingered a moment on Lucian, not recognizing him immediately. He was probably new, perhaps that was why. Or perhaps she just hadn't seen him before. Either way, a soft instant flush rose to her cheeks, a gentle rose color before she continued to look around and see who else was there before turning back to the fire. "I'm such an idiot! Why didn't i go upstairs and change first before coming over here? I could have at least looked as if I'd just taken a shower. But know, i had to put my boots in front of the fireplace. Way to go Neena, no wonder no one talks to you, you look like a freak and you act like one too. Maybe it's best you just stick with your mechanics." that little voice rang in her head, doubting why she did things and making an excuse for why people didn't talk to her. Then again, not three months ago she set her little cottage on fire, and the place was absolutely perfect. Yet because it contained too many memories she didn't wish to keep, she burnt it down in front of the leaders after they retrieved her things to start her new life. And here she was. With a new life. With a new beginning. and what did that bring her? She was sopping wet and flushed from blushing.

It didn't take long for Kiah to give into her suggestion, as she knew that the offer of sex, or really any kind of pleasure, was far too tempting to deny. The two had just woken up for the most part, but they usually did their things morning and night. Today was no different - Kaysie wanted him, and she was going to have him. So as he finally did give in and pinned her hands above her head, she knew what was coming. And she was entirely excited.

Once it was all said and done, Kaysie laid on the bed, curled in the blanket as she watched him pull his clothes back on. Part of her didn't even want to get up; she just wanted to lay in bed all day, with him, and cuddle. Maybe watch a movie, have more sex, or even just... talk. It was hard for them to communicate for too long, considering his pack was constantly needing him. She'd gotten to know him much more now, of course, but the extent was still lacking as it could have been if there was not his pack to be taken care of. Still, she knew just as well as him that they would not get to lounge around. They would have to be up and about, doing stuff. Well, he had to be doing stuff. If she chose to stay in bed all day, then so be it, though that was unlikely since it meant she would be in bed alone. After sleeping next to someone for so long, having half of the bed empty was... depressing. No matter what.

"Yes, yes, I'm more awake. I mean, how can I not be? My legs are trembling and my heart is racing." The grin was returned, and she rolled on the bed a bit before getting off. Since Kiah was a leader, he'd gotten one of the rooms with a bathroom attached to it; and that meant a nice shower was about to be had. Nobody to rush her, or disturb her, or anything. So without another thought, Kaysie moved into the bathroom and was quick to get into the shower. "I'll be downstairs soon enough. Gotta clean up, get dressed, and put some make up on. You don't want to be embarrassed by me." Of course, she was teasing, because she knew that she wasn't ugly without makeup. Makeup was just a plus.

Kaysie took her time in the shower; washing her body, washing her hair, shaving the places that needed to be shaved; all of that good stuff. She spent maybe around thirty minutes in there, and once done, turned the water off. With that, she snatched the towel that was hanging on the outside and stepped out of the tub; only to move into the room and to the closet, where her clothes were kept on one side and Kiah's clothes on the other. Grabbing her outfit, she put it on, then was quick to head back into the bathroom to blowdry her hair.

All in all, Kaysie finished dressing, did her hair, and put on her makeup within the hour, and was then downstairs, finding something to do. Whatever that something was, she had yet to figure out. But surely there was something or someone interesting around this damned house.

Jessica pulled things out of the bags, inspecting them as she went. There were breakfast things, she noted, but nothing she would be able to really cook, besides eggs. The girl had admitted that she was hungry, and Jessica nodded her head, slightly. The girl's question caused Jessica to pause her rummaging and look up. Turning around so her back was against the counter. "Still an idea in the process," she admitted, without really saying she had no idea. She honestly, didn't like asking for help, but it seemed like this girl wasn't much good in the kitchen, either, or she just didn't offer to help. Might be part of the whole not being able to see thing.

Foot steps coming into the kitchen, caused Jessica to look past Amber. A man came in and sat at the table. Marcus. He was the second in command for Joslyn, she recalled. A womanizer. She narrowed her eyes, slightly, but didn't say anything. He was quickly followed in by a gorgeous female that was actually newer than Jessica. It felt nice not being the new person, anymore. The woman went for the cereal, and Jessica was starting to believe that she would end up eating cereal as well, this morning. Once the woman was done with the box, Jessica went to take it after her, just when a man walked in. Raising her eyebrows, she recognized him as the man that did a lot of the cooking in the morning. He was a jack of all trades, it seemed, since he had been the one to fix her arm earlier in the month.

"Morning," she said, to all three of them. Deke had even located some bacon! "Ooh, you are my new favorite person," she cooed, eyeballing the packet. More people had started filing into the kitchen, which wasn't something that was uncommon. It was typically the busiest place in the morning. Deke was getting orders for food from various people, something she would have found annoying if she was trying to eat her own food. "Want some toast?" she asked Amber, as she popped quite a few pieces into the toaster. Someone would surely take the extra's if Amber decided she didn't want them. Once they popped back up, Jessica spread some strawberry jelly on her two pieces and took a seat at the table with whoever was still left.

A lot of the people ate and instantly filed right back out to go wander around the house. Jessica didn't feel that rush. It wasn't like she was going to go any where. It was funny...she hated being cooped up inside. Absolutely despised it. She didn't have to stay here...she chose to. Calista had told her that she could stay with them and would have a home with the Xammar pack, which was oddly comforting. It confused her. Turning her eyes to De'Lacey, she cocked her head, because the girl was doing the exact same thing. "So, how come you're staying here? It's not like this place is extremely exciting," she asked, making idle chit chat over her toast. Really, she was asking the other girl so that she felt less crazy for staying cooped up in a house when she didn't have to.

He was irresistibly cute to her, though his eyes seemed to look troubled when he looked at her now, which caused her to frown. Clear blue eyes studied him as he seemed to grapple for an answer to her question. She hated the idea that he had been so distant, lately. She absolutely adored this man, and would have been perfectly happy every day of being cooped up in this house if it meant she got to spend more time with him. She was actually pleased when the packs moved in together, because she thought that she would get to spend more time with Keagan. That had been true at first, but seemed to have waned over the course of the month.

His answer caused her brows to furrow with a bit of confusion. She got that people went into moods, but she was slightly hurt that he would pull away from her. "I'd take any bad mood you were in as long as you were still talking to me," she said, finally, biting her lip right afterwards. "I wouldn't ever think less of you, Keagan. I don't think you know how much I like you," she added on, afterwards. Her small outburst caused her cheeks to flush to a healthy pink. She was slightly grateful when some people started pouring into the living room, to distract her. No, she wasn't very big on expressing her feelings. The first male was from Keagan's pack. She had seen him around, but hadn't really talked to him. He always seemed depressed or in the act of drinking. The second male was one of the new people, and she honestly didn't know his name. She gave them a small smile, and shifted a bit away from Keagan, now that there were people in the room.

Finally, a very wet woman came into the living room. Neena. Alexis liked Neena, and they had had some conversations over the past month. Either way, now the room was crowded and she wondered if she should continue the conversation with Keagan. Getting off the couch, she walked to the little stereo and turned off the ballet music that was still playing. Walking back to the couch that Keagan was sitting on, she gave him a small playful smile and offered her hand to help him up. "My room?" she mouthed to him, so the others wouldn't over hear. "And move your butt. I can't push you too," she said, indicating she needed to put the couch back in it's proper place with him sitting on it. She gave him a lopsided grin and waited till he was up, before she pushed the couch back against the wall.

With that, she was heading out of the living room, dodging people as they moved about the house. Her room wasn't too far, and she quickly stole inside. Quickly picking some things up off the floor, she tossed them into their proper places, so it didn't look messy for when he came inside.

A Bullet For Your Dreams
▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬ ▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

Being a dog shfiter had its pros and cons. One of the pros was that water, never really bugged half of them. Running around in the rain was one of Peppers favourite things to do. Upon approaching Spencer and Lenny she had asked how they were doing. When they responded, and even shot the question back at her, she answered with a quick ‘good’. Her question about if they were enjoying the storm or not didn’t seem to get an answer from Spencer but rather.. another question in return. “Storms like this are perfect.” She gave him a smile and looked back towards the sky, watching the rain fall down and the lightening light up the grayness of the clouds.

Pepper watched as Lenina teased the cat shifter and she could only grin. It was only then that Adam another feline had stepped out onto the step and almost face planted into the ground. He seemed a bit shocked and scrambled a bit, and it caused Pepper to laugh. She wasn’t laughing at his struggling, she was laughing at how afraid he seemed to be either of the storm and loud thunder, or the rain. She guessed it could be a bit of both. The female straightened herself and then leaned against the side of the house. It was so nice out, to her anyway – she would hate to be dragged inside.

Her head turned at the sound of the front door opening, she noticed that Adam seemed to scramble right to his feet. Her eyes looked from the teenager and fell onto the grown body of the Grieco Leader. She huffed when he scolded them for being outside. Come on! They were just on the porch. She gritted her teeth, basically to keep her mouth shut. She wasn’t going to let some hunk of a cat decide what she would do. She would continue to get away with being outside whether he knew it or not. She gave a glance towards the others outside and rolled her eyes slightly, out of sight of Samael. He was too strict and she didn’t really like him. He was sexy, but his personality. ******** that. She’d probably rather date a rock. Yeah. She slipped inside after him, avoiding any contact with the Lion shifter. Why couldn’t he have a sort of sweet personality like Spencer seemed to be giving off. Who knew. She moved into hallway, and caught sight that the bathroom door was open. She basically sprinted for the door, quietly of course and slid in. It was hard to share a bathroom with half of these people. She needed to take every chance she could.

The german shephard shifter didn’t think twice about locking the door or making sure that no one was going to use this bathroom. She instantly stripped down and got into a warm hot shower. She would just walk back to the room she was sharing in a towel, it wasn’t like it would be awkward or anything.. right?

Despite Oberon's less than impressive pep talk, Calista seemed to calm down from her previous state. He figured it probably was that hug that did the trick, because it certainly wasn't his smooth talking. Oberon might not be much of a ladies man, but he did learn from experience that hugs solved pretty much anything, and could be used whenever you just didn't know what the hell to say. Oberon often was in those kinds of awkward situations, and it was why the guy was a pretty big hugger.

The bear didn't much respond to Cali's comment on his prowess with the ladies aside from a good-natured grunt. Yeah... he just didn't want to go into that and injure whatever manly pride he had left. Instead, he held out for her to actually answer his questions. After beating around the bush some, Cali finally mumbled what it was that had gotten her so out of sorts. Samael and her had fought over something. "He's always fighting with someone." He muttered crossly. The only impression Oberon got of the lion-man was that he was incredibly ill-tempered. Needless to say, the bear didn't think too highly of the cat.

Cali's source to all her problems was a vague, almost generic answer, and Oberon was a bit suspicious. Hadn't she and the Grieco fatcat argued before? What was so different about this fight that got her so riled up? Obviously, he wasn't getting the full story here. But should he pry? Sometimes it was best not to. And judging by how quickly she changed the subject afterwards, Oberon figured that in this occasion, he probably should keep his nose out of it. For now, anyway.

"Well it's going to be hard to get some fresh air with the storm going on outside." The constant shhhh sound of rain filing onto the roof and the occasional bang of thunder was a good reminder of that. But the black bear was probably too out of it to remember, so Oberon couldn't really blame her. "But when the clouds lift everything will be alright and smell nice and fresh." He said, trying to look at the bright side of things. Who didn't like that after rain smell?

Cali asked Oberon what he was doing in this wing of the mansion. Now that he thought about it, it probably did look a little weird for him to be skulking around the cat's side of the house. Before speaking, he sort of ducked his dead down a little. "I was looking for Koda." He explained, scratching his ear in an uncomfortable way. He wasn't very proud of admitting that he couldn't keep track of his son at the moment, as he had always prided himself on being a good father to Koda. Or at least, the best he could be. The bear avoided Cali's gaze in shame as he spoke. "He's probably mad at me for having to leave early this morning to get groceries. I think he's hiding from me."

Moe Moe Moe. That's all that ever was on his mind. Why? Well. There wasn't a complete reason Ethan knew. He still felt guilty. Even though she had told him a thousand times that there was no reason to be. Subconsciously, Ethan shook his head. He wanted to be able to do anything but sit around and do nothing. It had been a month since the pack members had gone missing, who knew if they were even still alive any more. And yet. Everyone is still on lock down. Going out was thought to be a bad idea. So he had been stuck here for the month. Without alcohol at that. Yes, listen here. Ethan had been sober for a whole month. This had to be a huge. Huge record actually. Since he couldn't even remember the last time he went a day without alcohol. Then again, that might have been because of the alcohol itself and blocking out everything since the day that he decided to get drunk. Closing his eyes, it was a mortifying feeling, to think on everything you had done and know that it wasn't very much but waste away on a toxic beverage that was slowly killing his body inside out.

Change was definitely a good thing. But as well - it was something that hurt like a little b***h. He was definitely going through withdrawal. But Ethan knew it had to be this way. One slip off and he was right on the wagon that he was desperately trying to stay away from. Eyes closed, he was soon aware of the fact that there were other people with him. But the male didn't really care. There wasn't anyone he wanted to talk to. There wasn't anyone he wanted to see. Maybe he hadn't been drinking recently, but Ethan definitely was still part of his own broody, lonely, stupid self. It was actually quite easy to just not care about anything. Let himself go and wait in the wind. Since really. What else was there to do? Ethan felt like he was powerless. Like he had to purpose. Just sitting around waiting. Waiting for what though? For more of the hunters to come along and take more of them? Or for them to finally realize that everyone's dead because they are too. Just holing themselves up in a place where. . with enough force, all of them could be brought down. It was a horrible thought. But his thoughts nonetheless.

The cougar shifter's eyes opened when he heard a voice talk to him. Fluttering for a second, he focused in on who was trying to contact him. And why they would do a thing like that. It's not like he really meant much anyways. Nodding his head, Ethan looked towards Lucian. "Yes, that's me?" the shifter responded back. He didn't really know any of their new house guests, even if it had been a month with them. Though, he was confusing at first, what the stranger was asking him. "Girlfriend?" he asked out loud, before realizing who Lucian was talking about. "Oh. Moe? No, she's not my girlfriend. But. I. Uh. She's fine I guess. Just resting. I'm sorry. I know this is rude of me. But I don't know your name. Kind of, well been out of it this past month. I'm sure you can relate - with everything that's been going on." Ethan nodded. This was about the point in time that he would possibly raise his bottle of beer up towards the man as a gesture of "nice to meet you". But since he wasn't enjoying alcohol any more, that seemed like something that wasn't going to happen at this point in time. So instead, Ethan's legs crossed for a moment, while he looked at the male in front of him. Probably, it was fairly awkward.

Even though Tabby was not that great with kids, she found herself to be quite good with Koda. He was a sweetheart anyway, which made it even easier to be around him. Plus, he trusted her, and now that they were ready to watch a movie and eat popcorn sometime in the morning, it would allow them to bond a bit. And maybe, just maybe, Tabitha might want to babysit him. Logan didn't really like her too much, but she could even bond with him, too. Who would have thought? Tabitha and the kids - bonding. What a mind-blower.

As she had come back into the room and told the young bear shifter to get comfortable, he looked utterly happy. And, in turn, made Tabitha even happier. Really, she was just glad to be helping, and it overall gave her something to do other than mess around with Spencer. Granted, she wouldn't mind, but she had to communicate with other people. And it also allowed her to stay locked in her room instead of running into Lonogan and having that awkward moment and awkward conversation. She knew it would happen eventually, but she'd rather it happen later instead of sooner. That way, the raccoon shifter would have thought out what to say a bit more. It probably wouldn't even go as planned, though... things never really do.

Soon enough, the raccoon shifter was sitting on her bed, leaned back against the headboard with the pillows behind her. Koda sat on her right, and was leaning his head against her shoulder. Needless to say, he was absolutely adorable. With the popcorn bowl in her lap, she pressed play on the movie, and brother bear began to play. "No problem, baby bear."

Though, as it started, Tabitha took out her phone and brought up Oberon's number, sending a quick text to him.

                                      To: Papa Bear
                                      From: Tabbycat
No worries, I have Baby Bear here with me. We're watching Brother Bear in my room, so I'm keeping him occupied from the storm. Feel free to come in whenever, the door is cracked.

Amber was never really one to talk much, or voice her opinion, or anything else like that. She was shy, very private, and overall.. well, just socially awkward. Having Jessica tug her into the kitchen was quite the surprise, but not only had she tugged her into the kitchen - she was looking to make something to eat, as well. Good. Amber was kind of hungry, and could feel her stomach readying itself to begin the growling process. And when Amber's stomach growled - it growled. There was no pretending it didn't happen, or blaming it on someone else. Everyone would know it was her stomach when it happened - so lucky, it didn't start yet. And if she got food into her quick enough, she'd be okay.

With people moving in and out of the kitchen, Amber was sure to make her way to the side so she wasn't in people's ways, and pressed herself against the wall. Her eyes darted back and forth, looking at the blurry figured that were moving about in the room. Jessica was commenting on how someone was now her new favorite person, and Amber could only guess it was because they had found bacon. It caused a small smile to cross her lips, but she remained silent still, and just listened to the hustle and bustle that was going on around the kitchen. At least until she heard a voice directed her way - that of Jessica's, asking her if she wanted toast. A slight nod was made in acceptance, as well as a bit of a bigger smile.
"Yes, please. Toast would be nice," she said, nodding her head once more.

There were more voices in the room, though Amber only recognized a few. The rest were still sort of new, as she was not really acquainted with everyone yet. Sure, they'd been here a month. But sometimes it was hard for her to become acquainted with other people when she was so shy. However, there were those from her pack that she knew, and there were plenty who had come up to her and began a conversation, or had dragged her to the kitchen and almost killed her in the process.

It took a few more moments before Amber decided to move to the table. She glanced around momentarily, taking notice of where it was - as it was the giant blob off to the side with colors sitting around it. There seemed to be an empty spot, in which the fennec went for it. She made it to the chair, pulling it out and slowly sitting down in it. The whole time, her eyes stared straight forward. Some may have found it creepy, but with useless vision, what else was she supposed to do?
