00Shoe Xennified Well yeah, but it was still snowing and had been for a couple of days ahah. Most of it was still snow, it just turns to slush in busy places! Most of it's turned to ice or melted now. Well then biggrin Aside from possible wet feet, how is your day progressing?
Very strangely. I didn't sleep last night to fix my messed up sleep schedule and now my body's really not sure what time it's supposed to be.
But other than that I'm pretty good! Finally getting work done on this dumb report. How about you? |

Finally getting work done on this dumb report. How about you? I am very chipper! Which is surprising as I also had hardly any sleep last night. My bed just seemed so uncomfortable... Think I am going to make something fantastic for lunch, I have been thinking about lunch all day - still don't quite know what to make though. Guess I will figure that out once I go to the store.
I don't have anything interesting in, I'm going home in the next couple of days so I've just gotta use up stuff that'll expire in the week or so I'll be gone.
I should get round to learning to cook interesting things at some point, hm. I keep saying that but never do anything about it. |

shishigashira Hogosha neko Hooray! I just got a job interview! Which is nice as I have been trying sense I moved here back in September. Downside, everyone constantly tells me about how I need to get my haircut if I want to have a chance of getting the job. I HATE having short hair, and my self esteem deeply hinges on my hair. sad O.o why would your hair be an issue to them?
Because everyone has an opinion and despite what people want to believe EVERYONE judges based on looks to a certain degree. |

Downside, everyone constantly tells me about how I need to get my haircut if I want to have a chance of getting the job. I HATE having short hair, and my self esteem deeply hinges on my hair. sad Is it one of those jobs where they have a strict dress code? Otherwise I wouldn't worry too much about getting your hair cut.

Nothing is too boring when your making money.
Every cent I make will be going twords buying my first car. Im 20, ive been waiting to get a car for over 4 years. Hopefully it wont take long to achieve this goal. Then after that I can finally start my way to college. |

00Shoe Hogosha neko Nothing is too boring when your making money. Every cent I make will be going twords buying my first car. Im 20, ive been waiting to get a car for over 4 years. Hopefully it wont take long to achieve this goal. Then after that I can finally start my way to college. I'm 25 and have never owned a car. It helps that I live somewhere that I rarely ever need the use of a car, and if I do there are a bunch of different companies that have fleets of cars scattered around the city that I could sign up with and use their cars at any time (costs money of course). Not to mention the excellent transit we have here. Kinda got away from my point there :p I know lots of people without cars, most of my friends are actually selling their cars and moving to just using public transit - it isn't very efficient driving in my city, too many cars. --- Is the main reason for you getting a car just to get around or are you using it for anything specific?
Well thats cool. I mainly bike everywhere, which kinda sucks when its cold out.
The idea of using only public transport is a good idea but there is not a lot of it around here.
My reasons for getting a car? I live on a AFB and at its widest point is roughly 20 miles across. Also if I want to go anywhere off the base I tend to have to get a ride. So it would be a great help for getting around, also my mother would love to not have to drive everyone places all the time.
Also I have a bit of a passion for driving, I get a hell of a kick out of it and do it mainly for the enjoyment. So owning a car would be very nice. I also dont know much about maintaining cars and such and would like to learn. So getting a car would help with that as well. |
