Rikki Tikki Travi Kerana "Sure do!" Kerana opened her water bottle and whispered her incantation to it. As she continued her incantation the water came out of the her water bottle and gathered dew from the plants around it. Not enough to kill the plants but enough to cover the stairs. Then ending with a hushing sound the water freeze. Covering the stairs in ice.
"That should do it... but now what? We're stuck up here aren't we? And we have no way to get to-"
As the fox girl looked to where Trinity was the silhouette disappeared. "What? An illusion?... No wait... a shadow?" Alec dismissed the shadow, illusion, or whatever it was. They had more pressing matters with the rogue downstairs. He brought Kerana around the blind corner heading off the top of the stairway and whispered.
"The stairs are lined with Ivy. I'm going to try and bind him. Even with those swords they should overwhelm him. If that doesn't work, I want you to try and blind him when he rounds this corner."
"If it gets to that point, I'm going to have to get violent. I'll do my best not to hurt him too badly, but if he insists on pursuing us I may not have a choice."
Not sensing anyone ready to launch a surprise attack on him entering, Veran took a slightly cautious step inside. Much as he wanted to ream the two of them, he knew to be careful. He already had a taste of what that wolf could do and if the girl was anything to go by, she probably had a sneaky ploy or two up her sleeve as well. He'd have to play quick but also careful.
As he stepped towards the stairs, he paused. His senses were tensed, but he didn't see anything. All there was was the growth on the walls and ceiling and floor of this building. Natural for nature to claim it after being abandoned but as he started to take his step he paused. The foliage on the stairs was slightly greener...fresher...newer. He set his foot down just before the first step and looked at it. What the heck? This is....a trap? No...maybe new growth from the trees, but if that's the case, why would it only be here? He glanced up the stairs. Things had gone quiet and it made him suspicious. Better see if there's a outside way up. Not going to risk this....whatever it is.

A whistling could be heard, faintly echoing around the cavern's tunnels. A rather lithe figure's footsteps hit the rocky flooring. His arms swayed at his sides as he walked, grey-blue eyes staring lazily ahead as his messy black hair occasionally got in in eyesight. Aishi wore a black long-sleeved hooded shirt, probably just one size too big for him along with matching pants. For shoes, well, he wore none. He found it nice to feel the cool earth below his feet even if he stepped on something sharp. It never bothered him too much, after all, wounds always healed.
He wandered around the caverns as if lost. In truth, he was. Or... could you be lost when you didn't know where you were going? Aishi had no set destination, so he was just exploring. Did that count as lost? He stopped whistling and tilted his head in thought of this, trying to process whether or not he was truly lost. In truth, he was forced to run inside this cave, after being chased for a while. He ended up losing the pursuers and took refuge here for a while. He was smart enough to know not to go back outside the same way he came, so he went exploring.
The part of the cave he was in was carved out by an old river that dried up long ago. The moisture as well as the smooth rock gave that much away. Other waterways had also make their way through the rock, making their path through the rocky grounds before drying out and leaving a trail in its wake. It provided for some nice twists and turns to lose anyone tailing you.
In his hand, Aishi held a torch that illuminated the area around him so he could see. His stomach growled at the smell of the flame. He was getting hungry and he ran out of his prepared food. At least he still had water. Taking a swig before capping the skin, he turned around and began to walk backwards, viewing the rocks he was passing. He was hoping to see something more entertaining than just rock, so he was hoping that a different perspective would be what he was looking for. Alas, it wasn't .
Not paying attention, he accidentally ended up tripping over Trinity's foot and fall on his back in a small daze from hitting his head on the ground.
"Oww..." Aishi muttered as he turned on his side holding the spot where he hit his head, the wound throbbing.

He didn't catch what she first said, mainly because his mind was hazy. He sat up, swaying slightly, removing his hand from the back of his head, seeing a light coat of blood on his palm. He gave a small frown before hearing the female ask if he was alright as she moved in to bandage him.
"Hm? Yeah, I'm fine," he stated before allowing his fingers to run over the fabric of the bandage on his head as if experiencing it for the first time. He looked at Trinity before glancing over at Nova. His attention turned back onto Trinity as she spoke again. Getting back to his feet, but leaving the discarded torch on the ground, Aishi smirked.
"I'm Aishi," he said with a small bow like Trinity was a princess. As he did so, tips of a few scars did peek out from the collar of his shirt on his back. However, because of such dim lighting, it'd be hard to see.
"What brings the two of you here? Surely a dingy cave isn't of much interest, unless you're geographers mapping out a bunch of old tunnels. There's no food here either and the water is too still to drink safely from."
