Just outside the castle, the appearance of a large disk with spiral lines was visible. The disk stood vertically, like a coin on it’s edge. A moment later, the disk’s ridges slid against one another with a metallic hiss as the disk opened in a circular fashion. It was a portal for the Captain of Squad 12 from the Seireitei . . . and the one that was once and as far as he knew still general of the Order of the Darkest flame. As he stepped onto the rocky outcropping outside what had become Castle Rivoness, he was not immune to the thought that the order was all but extinct. Created to subvert the government of Hueco Mundo, the group was folded in long ago. Charles Takena no longer needed them, though. At best this place was a backup home in case things went wrong. He had not used the laboratory here in some time. Instead, it became the home of Margaret, Ryuu, and their brood. Charles had never liked Ryuu, and even was known to openly goad Margaret at times. The last time he had been here, she had surprised him by going against the wishes of her partner . . . giving him safe haven regardless of what happens. That caught his attention- and perhaps a bit of his respect. It was that level of respect that brought him here now. As an independent being, he was here to solicit her aid on a task that was beyond both Hueco Mundo and the Seireitei. The little demon known as Yidhra had tasked him this, and he needed another hollow to help him.

Charles walked up the final few steps, and opened the door in a grand fashion. He knew of the Garganta that was left open in the foyer for ease of access, but Charles hated using those things. He did so almost as much as he loathed the idea of depending on others to do as he needed. Thus, he just came his own way in a method that would not disturb her castle. He also typically came in shadows, choosing to hide his reiatsu and presence until he was ready to appear. This time, he chose to be more courteous. Once inside the castle, he stayed in the main foyer, choosing not to seek out the multitude of corridors for the lady of the house. He chose instead to use a trinket she had given him. Charles reached into his bandoleer and a shielded pocket for an amulet. It gave off the presence of a strong hollow energy, and was the key to making alterations here. The amulet was empowered by Margaret herself, and gave a measure of control over the castle’s walls and decoration. An interesting side effect was the ability to subtly summon the lady as needed. The castle had become a part of her, and she likely even was aware she had a visitor or two . . . for Charles had assumed Contenmo would be joining them. Either way, time was of the essence. Rather than scream out to empty walls, Charles merely straightened his clothing and thought of a proper request. He was not dressed in his haori and shihaksho. No, the captain was dressed in a three-piece suit from the recent inclusion at a ball gala. She may not even recognize him easily as his power had grown exponentially and his dress was different. Still, she would recognize the amulet and the alteration all too easily.

Charles looked to his left and saw the rather large portrait of the members of the order. Behind that picture was his lab, but what was more important was how focal that picture was. Huge, intimidating, and eye-catching, it left no doubt of who lived in this place even part time. That would do nicely. Charles stared at the image, and held onto the amulet. He took a moment to work the item for the first time, and soon discovered how it operated. All members of the portrait except Margaret began to fade. Once they were all ghostly except for her image, he stopped. No use in eliminating them just to draw her attention. Once done, he put the amulet back in it’s shielded pocket in the band on his chest. That was the only item he truly wore at all times he knew her. Now it was a matter of waiting. He had called to her in a quiet, reserved, and what he felt was respectful way. Nothing was remade, no garish scars or calls, only a pointed request for her alone. His feet took a wide stance and his hands clasped each other behind his back as he waited patiently. She should come, and he hoped she would come alone. Then again, he could never be sure if that blasted b*****d Ryuu would come too . . . Hopefully he would know soon.

Margret soaked in a pool of hot water, she was grooming herself immaculately she was going to a party after all she needed to look her best, perhaps after the party she would confront one of the Espada for a position in that select group. In truth Margret wanted to become an Espada for a simple reason; Fame and all the things that came with it. Ryuu's Governors had been a point of jealousy for her... she didn't have the pull to get anyone of real power into this castle but once she became an Espada that would change, Her eyes opened as The Portal Charles had brought himself opened, she was glad he wasn't trying to sneak around anymore, it was rather boring to be honest, he may have been undetectable in almost all way but he could still be sensed by touch... and his feet were always on the ground.

Although it was peculiar he was stronger, but then again so was she, Margret had almost doubled her power since he last saw her. As he tried to manipulate the painting he would find it didn't work, suddenly underneath his feet the ground would move, normally she would go to him but she was in the bath, a chair would appear behind him as he was moved and it would bump into the back of his legs forcing him to sit, once he was in the chair the speed he moved would increase exponentially walls and corridors shifted as he rocketed through the castle towards the baths allowing him a straight shot to her as it reach the baths it would slow and drop lightly to rest on the ground in front of the door to the baths which would open on their own accord and a large cloud of steam would pour out of the hot springs style bathes "Come on in Charles, I need to finish bathing for this Winter Ball things so come keep me company." Margret's voice would say form within, she wouldn't bother to cover up they were both in committed relationship... and different sexual preferences too Margret only felt attracted to Ryuu and Charles was a homo, they did absolutely nothing for each other in a sexual sense. Margret was out of the bath and surrounded by Young women, these were shadows of the castle simple creatures produced by Margret's will, they maintained the castle while she was away.

"Ryuu's already gone by the way so if you had business with him it'll have to come up at the party..." she continued, "By the way that Painting is immune to the Amulet's powers, I had it replaced with a replica from outside so that others with amulets couldn't infiltrate your lab by removing the Painting." she would say guessing he'd be curious as to why the painting didn't change to his will. While she didn't know why he was here it had to be business related, Charles skirted this place since becoming a Captain in the Soul Society, also the reason he likely used that personal portal using a Garganta in the Soul Society was bound to set off flags. As she put it to thought the ground under the portal lifted and carried it toward the castle grounds it was within her control but being an outside object needed an intermediary to move it closer. If she decided to move that castle Charles would need that portal so she placed it in a corner near the door hidden by some foliage Charles liked his secrecy. "Is Contenmo coming or did he go ahead to the Party like Ryuu?" a Simple enough question.

"I am already here. Present."

Contenmo whispered as he emerged from Charles' shadow. His presence had been shrouded by the shinigami's own devices and Contenmo had been clinging to Charles the entire time. Contenmo had actually been part of him. The arrancar had the innate ability to bend reality and space. Having become a part of the man's dress clothes. His body had tapered down into the black shadow behind him. His head was the first to emerge as he shed the dark cloak. His own hoari was a stark contrast to the charcoal silhouette; The hakama he had on was a bright, beautiful white. Unblemished. Not only did it contrast with the shade but his bronzed skin as well. Contenmo formed up and around Charles: wrapping his long, lanky arms over the man's shoulders. His golden eye peeked up and around the Charles' neck. "Hello. greetings Margret. It's been too long." He grinned, dragging his fingers over the shinigami's chest before him as he stared at the mistress of the castle.

After a brief pause he would actually step through Charles. Not quite literally. One portal would open up and close within the fraction of a second and another would open in front of the shinigami in the fraction of a second. The arrancar stooped and crouched in front of his lover. His back rested against the man's knees: never breaking contact. "I have no inclination. Plans to go to the party. Event." His insane grin spread over his face from one cheek and under his mask. The bony smile mirrored the expression in a grim way.

Charles stared at the portrait, wondering why in he nine hells that thing did not obey the commands of the amulet. It wasn’t a big issue, but that did make him wonder if the tool was merely a placebo. It would not be beyond belief to know that Margaret gave him a useless tool to placate him. Then again, she was open and honest when they last spoke- if cryptic in who she wanted to protect. Charles never did discern if she was talking about her partner or her creator. Either way, he cared little. That was the reason he never considered her request to be kinder to ‘him.’ Not because she wasn’t being kind to him, but because Charles was not kind to any but two. He stood wondering for very little time, his hands behind his back as he stood pondering the ramifications of the useless stone. A faint rumbling could be heard in the silent room and he mildly smiled. That was the sound of something shifting and moving, meaning somebody took notice of his presence. The sound of stone sliding on stone could be heard in the cavernous room a moment before his knees were knocked out from under him. With a “oomph!” he landed unceremoniously on his arse in a chair that was only mildly comfortable. Still, the furniture continued to move as he readjusted himself. The carnival-like ride did not concern him, for if Margaret wanted him dead, she would have so many better opportunities than ramming him into a wall. So, as the castle opened and shifted to accommodate the rather unique transit, he merely sat back and laced his fingers in consideration. It appeared that Contenmo had not joined him, for the only movement was his own chair. Shame, for the Maestro was truly missed. Never the less, this was a business trip. He would have to soldier on, for as soon as this was past, he would be reunited with his love again.

Soon, the castle walls stopped at a door, and the large portal opened to a wall of steam. As the chair had wound to a halt in a surprisingly comfortable pace, he assumed the ride was over. Charles rose and walked into the room, glad that he did not wear a physical visor any longer, the steam would have made sight rather awkward for several minutes given the amount of moisture in here. Margaret was obviously pampering herself, but given her devotion to her appearance, that was not unexpected. The captain merely did not expect to find her in the bath. Charles moved inside, and took the time to close the door behind him. In his mind, no use in letting the steam escape that had spent so very long building in the room. As he adjusted to the near sauna, he noted that they were not alone, and she was not clothed. The room was a veritable wet dream for any male . . . and Charles was not unaffected. He kept his arousal in check emotionally, but the physical reaction was not unnoticeable as he took stock of the women before him- including Margaret herself. He had no interest in her personality or strength, she was substantially stronger, but he was still far her superior. In a battle, she would fall quickly- but that was not the point. She was strong enough for what he needed. He merely took stock of her physical form and noted that it was appealing. She was not bashful in the least, and he didn’t bother to consider the reasoning behind that either. Perhaps she was simply sated that they both had relationships. A smirk tugged at his lips for a moment as he considered pointing out that Contenmo was his true love- but not his only companion and gender that he had sampled. Perhaps she was relying on the fact that Ryuu was still more than a serious threat were he to cross a line. That was an annoying fact of his existence, and for all intents and purposes Ryuunoske Ryuusei was the closest he had to a bitter rival. The thought of humiliating that being was a very pleasant one indeed. Still, that was a thought he did not say aloud here. No use in tempting fate until he was ready.

Still, Charles had the presence of mind to comment on her form in a way that pointed out his notice and gender without being overly flirtatious.
“You have matured quite exquisitely, Lady Margaret.” That said, he let her have a moment to consider his words and ended up hearing her continue. Seems his hopes were answered! That damned Ryuu was not present, and that was truly a blessing. That obstacle removed, he felt more confident in offering his little jaunt. She also explained that the painting was an import, not part of the castle. That meant it was indeed immune to the amulet, and that was an interesting development. It showed forethought and courtesy towards him. Something the captain had not considered. Margaret Moonlight had matured emotionally quite well. Before he could explain his presence, she asked about Contenmo. Oddly enough, the question was answered for him. As if Contenmo was truly one with him, the Maestro appeared behind him and draped himself over the Captain in his suit. That was both odd, and comforting to know he could be one with him and so easily hidden. Charles never even felt his partner there. It seemed this path was going to be so much more fortuitous than he had hoped! The appearance of Contenmo made him feel even more confident. With a cordial greeting, Contenmo seemed to phase around Charles, and he couldn’t wait to examine that little ability. Something that would come in so very handy! Another brief thought went through his mind, the idea of the pair of them on the same side at last, and he would be able to compliment Contenmo’s chaos with his own traps and order, and the pair would be legend. It was his dream made manifest, the pair would be unstoppable.

Contenmo’s statement of not going to the party snapped him back to reality. Seems this place was bad for concentration today. A lithe woman and her servants tempting his body, and his lover tempting his mind. Still, he had a mission to complete.
“Indeed, we will not be attending the gala despite our current attire . . . and I implore you to not go either. I have need of a powerful hollow- two actually. Naturally, my first choice was Contenmo for obvious reasons. My first choice for the remaining position was you, Lady Margaret. I have a task to complete for somebody outside both Hueco Mundo and the Soul Society, yet could be of use to both. As recompense, this employer has a unique ability to pay. The last ‘task’ I undertook on their behalf left me with a very powerful gift. Certainly you could make do with something unique and powerful.” Charles holds out his hand symbolically given he is across the room from her.

“I ask you to join us and be well paid for your time. Won’t you grace us with your strength?” Of course, he kept silent on so very much. He had no idea how the little heathen might feel about Margaret- or worse how Margaret felt about that little . . . thing. It was certain that the representatives of the Seireitei would not be a welcome sight. Still, that was something to overcome once the rather unique arrancar before him had committed to this task. She likely wanted to fight at Ryuu’s side, but that was a common opportunity. This was far less common, as was the potential reward. If possible, he hoped to refrain from ‘pulling rank’ as he did not think that would work. Instead, he wanted to appeal to a more common denominator . . . the drive to collect power. As he lowered his hand to wait for her response, he did his best not to drink in the rather enticing sight of her nude and fresh from the bath. He was not immune to her physical charms, even if he had no intention of partaking of her. She did not interest his heart or mind, and her body was not worth the trouble it would cause were he to take it by force. Of course, that thought was quickly logged away in the back of his mind as something to use later. After all, kill a person directly; their family will come for you. Attack their kin, and they come at you angry . . . stupid. Forcing himself upon her would be difficult, but not impossible . . . and would likely send Ryuu into a rage beyond all measure. She would be humiliated, and he would be the monster that stripped her of confidence and ability to fight back. It would be some time before she emotionally repaired herself. By then, Ryuu and he would have settled the matter, and she would be alone. After all, like the spider he revered . . . Charles would not institute such a plan until he was very ready to take on Ryuu’s forces. Never spring a trap unless you are sure it will work. That was what kept him from fighting to take over the order long ago. The moment he lost the equal footing and advantage, he backed down. The risk was too great. Just one more possible plan he would investigate when the time was right. For now, she was an ally, and possibly the best choice to be on his team. She would not follow orders as easily, but no hollow would other than Contenmo. If she turned him down, he may have to go and pick up somebody strong enough out in the sands. A less desirable option, but an option.

Margret's eyes turned to look at Charles when he leveled his comment at her, it was layered in lots of potential ways to view it, Margret could tell the undertone focused on her nudity, though in reality it was quite unfounded, being an Arrancar her body was exactly the same as it had been when they first met. Her grin was content even as Contenmo decided to rear his head, "Afternoon Contenmo." She would say with a nod in his direction this was all quite pleasant but she wished they would cut to the chase. And they did.

Margret's face turned to stone as he spoke, it was quite obvious she was displeased about something, The woman around Margret stopped and moved away, and she stood, the water in the bath was gone and Margret was in her Clothes all in a few seconds. She huffed and looked at Charles, "Don't try to sweet talk me Charles, You're 1000 years too early for that. I spent the latter part of my human life as a pop star. Ever met a record executive The worst smooth talking scum on the face of the planet, I was in over my head with them, I know what things mean. I consider us friends, if you need my damn help just ******** ask for it dumb a**." The reason was quite simple it seemed, "Now come on we have to go get someone before we-" "I am here." the voice came from the other side of the bath, and it was Ari, only Margret would know who she is.

Her luminous eyes stared at Contenmo, it was because his mind was so chaotic it threatened her own sanity. "I see." She would say suddenly as she looked over to Margret "I was right he shall take me where I wish to go."

Contenmo stared at Ari unblinking. His golden, cat-like eye never left her own vacant gaze. A first his grin had disappeared: but slowly the insane expression returned in fever. However, his mind registered the insult to Charles' intelligence. The arrancar turned his gaze to Margret. A low rumble echoed in his throat and the hair on his head bristled. The maestro didn't care if she was an old friend. no one insulted Charles while Contenmo was there.

He looked back at the shinigami. His question would not need to be vocalized to him and only he would understand the look the arrancar was giving him. 'Kill?', it inquired. 'Leave?' He seemed to ask with the slightest twitch of his lips over his bared fangs. "I trust you far. Much less than myself." Contenmo wld growl flatly to Ari. That was saying a lot. The maestro had no idea what he could do next. Right now he wasn't sure if he would lunge out and strangle Margret. Or if he would open a garganta, push Charles through it, and leave.

Tendrils of caos energy slipped and curled around Contenmo. Warping reality around him as he bristled with insanity and anger. The water closest to him froze or floated in mid-air. The stones around him took on the consistency of pudding.

Charles watched expectantly as Margaret Seemed to completely mistinterpret his actions. He had indeed come in with more diplomatic and complimentary words than he might use with a subordinate, but he also almost blatantly flirted with her. Both were aware that she had not physically changed in the time he had known her, but he was still admiring her curves and demeanor for what changes had happened from her emotional maturity. How she carried herself with more confidence and her movements were that of a person that knew her own desires. Charles was attracted to that confidence, but only on the level of physicality. He had no intention of her heart or mind. In fact, that was reinforced as she seemed to find his attempt at kindness as a pandering to her apparent strength. His eyes narrowed dangerously as she turned on him. At his feet, Contenmo bristled, and Charles lowered his hand even lower. The two were one in more ways than was readily apparent. He didn’t have to look down to his companion to know the looks, to feel the urge to tear into her. Perhaps that was echoed through the rings they wore? Charles only felt what could only be described as a wave of rage that mirrored his own flow through his heart. As usual, where the hair was bristling and teeth bared in the Maestro, Charles only became deathly calm. His face resumed the stoic look he normally wore. His right hand moved down to rest idly upon Contenmo’s head as his left rested pointedly upon his sword’s handle on his hip. In an instant, Charles took in the room in a new light. He analyzed the possibilities of the water, the topography of the room, the servants, and the columns. He immediately saw ways that the room could be made malleable as a weapon and where best to counter such. He also knew that if such became a battle of wills, the amulet in his bandoleer would likely fail against her control of the castle. Like controlling the breath, the voluntary control only went so far. One cannot will themselves to suffocate, so Charles could not will the walls to stop attacking him.

He pointedly ignored the newcomer he did not recognize. Whoever that girl was, the only aspect that Charles needed to know in that instant was that she was somebody Margaret was not fond of. When he spoke, it was with almost no volume, and yet was insistent enough to carry the weight of a command screamed by a cadre of voices.
“I tried to be kind, not subversive. I offer you deference, and you spit in my face? Fine. I shall speak . . . plainly. I have need of a powerful hollow. I thought of you. However, because of the understanding we seemed to have I offered it to you rather than commanded. I offer you power, but left you the choice to say no. You are not the only candidate.” His inflections leave no chance for doubt. He truly could find another hollow, even if he came here first. The being at his feet that was anxious for a pound of flesh was also the Maestro, meaning he had the charge of finding and ‘protecting’ hollows. Certainly the sands of the desert could cough up somebody strong enough to be a worthwhile addition. A person not likely to bite as Margaret had just because he chose kind words.

Charles stared even harder and his glare left no room for misunderstanding. His next words were not boastful or subtle. These were a threat.
“I care little for your human life. I care even less about your age. Know this; I could end you without effort. The last person to underestimate me died painfully just after he realized his error. You wish to die? I will accommodate you.” That was more warning than he had given his last opponent, and though he loathed making such bold moves . . . he was more than certain that Margaret was not a threat. She was strong enough to be a challenge, but Charles knew without a doubt that she would die if she so much as twitched in a way he did not approve of. In his mind, Margaret had committed a cardinal sin- she had underestimated him. She decided to fuss at him like a child because she disapproved of his method. She chose to ignore his strength to push her weight around. Charles would back down in the past, but this time he was the stronger, and he had Contenmo here as well. There was no need to even consider not meeting this challenge. The only question would be, how much would he use. Would he use his zanpaktou’s bankai for the first time? Or perhaps he would pull out the smaller weapon he had, and show her his second zanpaktou? All of it would be new to her- as in all the time he had been a member of this so-called Order, he never used a single power other than his shadow travel and hiding from sight and sense. She had called them friends, and attacked him for showing her respect. She was contradicting herself, and forgetting her place. As the weakest of the four remaining members of the Dolo Fonia, she was getting to arrogant. This castle may be part of her, but it was still able to be destroyed. Just like her.

Margret sat there completely nonplussed, she was obviously not impressed by their growling, she had learned a while back death was in reality quite insignificant in these worlds, people were killed all the time and simply seemed to spring back into reality via the court, why even fear something that can be fixed with such petty ease. But as he regained his slight attitude toward her she cracked a grin, "Better. I accept." and with a wave of her hand she ejected them from the castle. Charles would find himself somewhere new, The Eternal Forge, with Contenmo at his side and attached to his chest there would be a note. The girl is the one who I told you about from the Halls that bend time who can peer into your soul. My one caveat to coming is that she accompany us. Ari has expressed a desire to see the person you wish to take me to. If you accept return to the castle." It was something of a kindness on Margret's part, her discomfort at her being there was made evident, If Charles though about it Margret seemed surprised which meant that Margret didn't know she was there. That meant she had a way of slipping past her castle-wide sensory with Margret being none the wiser. IT he considered Margret's words it seemed she thought of them as good friends, the ejection took on another light when one thought of that, protection of the two of them from one who posed a possible threat. If that was true, Margret wasn't really cut out for this sort of thing, she had too much heart to live amongst such a place. The reasons she never left that castle started to become more evident as pieces of the puzzle dropped into place.

Lv-200 Eject

Ari stared as Margret swept them away, "That... was pointless. I had seen it all already... ah... I see you intend to give him a choice. Though I suppose i owe you thanks, the other ones mind was quite dangerous to me, so much shifting and changing I could pull myself out." It was all said in a rather drab monotone, "Ah I see you're upset with my appearance here too, you know I don't bother with those rules it's a waste of time walking takes so long you know." It was all rather disconcerting to have someone inside your head and not even bother acting as if they weren't digging around in it at all times.

Margret would find that the two had not moved an inch. But, instead, she would feel her powers draining from her body if she continued to try to move them, the castle, or any part of the terrain. She might think that the castle was her part of her body. But, Contenmo was like a virus. A pox on reality. An incurable disease. He decided when he left. He decided what happened. Reality was only his host. He could play with it as he saw fit."It is time for us to leave. Depart Charles." The arrancar would spit between fangs, insulted at her attempts to move them to another location. It seems the loss of concentration would be too much for Margret and she was unable to forcefully eject them while under pain or pressure. None-the-less, Contenmo created a garganta and would step into it: waiting for Charles to enter as well. All the while giving Ari and Margret a look that could kill. They might think themselves all powerful abominations of the hollow heirarchy. But, they were not even large enough to tickle an espada's big toe. Least of all a Maestro.

Contenmo read the note seemingly attached to his chest and would hand it to Charles nonplussed. As soon as Charles was within the portal, Contenmo would swing his arm and it would smash shut like the maw of some great beast. Leaving the two women alone in their solitude.

Charles watched intently as Margaret seemed uninterested in death. In truth, such would make a modicum of sense. With her partner one of the authorities in the soul courts of Hueco Mundo, she was all but immune to the idea of a final death. A quick sword slice, and she would be ethereal again. Even if she had not been connected to Ryuu, she would likely be restored. That was part of what Yidhra had grumbled about in the past. There was no sting to death, no need to avoid it. If a fool was powerful enough to be of worth, he or she could commit seppuku over and over and over again, only to be brought back like a spiritual toy. Of course, the fact that death had no sting was not inconsequential to his own plans either. What she did not seem to recognize was that death was a destination, not a path. Charles was adept in poisons and draining moves. If he were to attack, he would not simply strike like a fool. No, he would slowly draw out her life; he would make her do far worse than die. He would see to it she suffered. The urge to do just that was in him now. She had chosen to spit on his offer despite the promise of payment to make her stronger. His choice to treat her as a valued companion was rebuked for pandering. Perhaps this was a fundamental disconnect between the psychology of hollows and that of shimigami. Humans have a psychology with baseline values. Once the body dies, and the soul is freed, then the ideology changes . . . priorities shift from living to existing, to controlling one’s fate. From finding food and a mate to controlling and acquiring strength. Hollows are beings he cannot totally understand yet- for he has no experience being one. All he has is observed data of three examples. At the moment he did not want to make a profile of baseline hollow psychology based on those three disparate samples. She did not seem to understand that he would not simply kill her. He would dismember her. He would poison her, rob her of all that she was body and heart before giving her something so sweet as death. She was too weak compared to him to be any danger, so he could take his time mummifying her body and using her as an experiment in his lab. Not the one here in the castle, but in the Soul Society. She would be reduced to simply being a trophy and a lab experiment. Only then would he consider making her finally die.

Instead of respecting his threat, she thought to grin as he seemed to give in to her demands. She missed the point. Before he could do anything, she ‘accepted’ the invitation, and tried something. She waved dismissively, and a fading rush of energy flowed over them both at the same time a minor surge came from Contenmo at his feet. Whatever she tried to do failed and he had every reason to think it had something to do with the Maestro. After all, Charles had done nothing. Instead, a note appeared on his chest. The captain had every reason to believe that he was to be the recipient of far more than that note. As such, he simply looked down to the note, and picked it up. He read it carefully, and scoffed. Not only did she disrespect him, but she threw caveats at him in a note rather than tell him. He could care less of this girl, and did not know or desire her company. He heard all that she said, about going into other’s thoughts, and that disturbed him equally. The concept of being so open to others was more than distressing- it was repugnant. Apparently, Margaret was not fond of this Ari, either. For a brief moment that made Charles feel a bit better, until he remembered what she could do. He wondered if she could peer into the soul or the mind, for those are two different things. The soul is desires and plans, but the mind is the maze of thoughts and intentions. In any case, he had no secrets broiling near the surface at the moment other than who he was doing this for. That was apparently already known if Ari was to be believed. As he thought over that little conundrum, Contenmo made his move.

With a relatively single statement, the Maestro brought him back to the moment. Contenmo rose and not far off made reality open up like a hungry maw. A part of him loved that aspect- the garganta that swallowed whole the person or persons travelling. It was as if the world ate them out of one place only to let them go in another. Stepping just inside that gaping maw, Contenmo was clearly willing and able to lead the way. Charles released the note, and let it flit to the floor. He walked to the threshold of that rip in reality, and glared at Margaret.
“The offer is rescinded. Enjoy the event.” With that, he walked through the garganta with Contenmo, and did not look back even when the jaws slammed shut. A part of the captain wondered if he would ever again go to that place.

Word count 895, responding to Margaret and Ari (419), and Contenmo (242), total of 1556
Running total 11514

Nethuns appeared above the castle. The familiar sound of static was heard as a garganta opened and closed for him. His red eyes looked down at the castle with contempt. A slight frown pressed on his lips. He had promised someone that he wouldn't kill all of humanity. But there was nothing stopping him from destroying a few stains in Hueco Mundo. He despised the castle and all it stood for. Those within thought themselves better than anyone without. Nethuns, in his charitable nature, had created a city for any and all hollows to lose themselves in. Not just a select few. It was one thing to think you were special and actually be. Rahvir. He had every right to have a castle. He was king. Nethuns. He created an underwater city because it was within his power to do so. Naniyori was once the primero espada for good reason. Nethuns half expected the god to become the next heretic. No. The sight of the castle disgusted and revolted Nethuns and he would be rid of it. Forming a lance of energy in his hand. He threw the projectile at the castle as a smirk crossed his lip. Cross him and he would watch you burn in cold hell-fire.

The Scroll of China's Freakishly Strong Girl
Description: The sum of all knowledge and wisdom as it relates to fighting styles, or so it claims. It's kind of suspect, but this massive scroll can teach the reader everything they need to know about martial arts and truly become a Master! Or, y'know, something like that. Darn big scroll, though.
Effect: Multiplies the number of fighting styles the user can know by 3, and their ultimate stat gain by the same amount. Negative effects that would otherwise be used on their fighting styles are ineffective unless the opponent's Base Stamina is at least 1.5x the user's.
