I am disappointed that there is no Green team for Lymphoma this year. I know that Mamarita will be disappointed since she and a lot of us who are her friends joined this guild specifically last year for that team. Her husband died from Lymphoma. What are we doing this year to remember those who suffer from that terrible cancer. Many other cancers spread to the lymph nodes and / or actually start there. It's a shame that Lymphoma is not being recognized this year.
Of course, we will all remain on the guild, but we cannot forget that Lymphoma is a major cancer and should be remembered.

You are quite right; but the teams change from year to year. Truthfully, it would be ideal if we could have a team for every single type every year, but it isn't practical in terms of the contests/prizes/participation if we have more than around 10 teams or so every year. Of course, you're free to support Lymphoma by wearing its colors and ribbon; it's just that there isn't an established team for it in the contest portion of the event.
Rotating the teams is a sort of compromise that we do in order to give different types some exposure every year.
