More Meteor Showers Bring Even Stranger Powers. (O/A)

Theresa looked at the generous plate that Trinity had brought forth with some unease. She was loving the aroma coming off of it, but she was confused by it.

She let go of Theonis' arm and approached the food. She knelt down to the level of the table and studied it, poked it, and played with the layers of ingredients.

She looked back at Theonis and asked, "Is this food? The men in white feed me with tubes in my arms."

Theo frowned when he heard that. Were they all treated like that at Deadelus? He noticed his hand clenched into a fist before releasing it. It was pissing him off.

"Yeah, it's called a cheeseburger." He responded." I hope your stomach can handle it. If all you have ever eaten was through tubes it might be a little heavy for you. But....It would be worth it for you." He walked over and demonstrated something." See these things don't fit your mouth right away. So what you should do is this..." He grabbed the burger in his hands and took a firm grip on it." See with this you squish it a bit so it fits your mouth. The sauce may drip out so be careful with that. After you've taken a bite just chew it....enjoy the flavor and swallow." He put down the burger on the plate.

"Sorry if it sounds a bit odd....I don't know if you have ever eaten anything solid...."

A smile crept on her face when she felt the woman kiss the back of her neck. A few things went through her mind. For one, she found herself becoming increasingly tired despite the situation. Not surprising for someone who hasn't slept for a month. Liv really was in the mood to continue all of it but she wasn't sure how well she could....perform under this fatigue. Plus she wondered if she could even make it out of the shower. The blonde was going to say something until her vision blurred a bit. She stumbled a bit. Using her arms against the wall for support she rested a bit till her vision was clear again.

"I'm...I'm sorry Heather. Can...can we finish this tomorrow? A month of not sleeping and today....is really taking it's toll on me...I can barely see straight...

Heather stopped abruptly, not liking what she just heard. The heat within her was building to a fever pitch.

Rydia felt that sense of danger again. The beast in her finally made it clear to her more rational mind that what she was feeling was the threat of another animal.

"I don't think so."

Rydia leaped from the bath and toward the shower. She threw the door open and scooped Liv out before turning the cold water on Heather full bore and closing the door.

Heather shrieked in shock as the cold water actually registered against her skin. The jolt brought her back to her senses.

Rydia put her back against the shower and shook her head at Liv.

"You mustn't have read the stories. Never tease a dragon, especially when it comes to something they really want."

It registered too fast for Liv's already tired brain to process. One second she was in the shower...next she was not. Then she saw Rydia. She must have pulled her out. But why? What the girl said managed to stay in her brain.

"That...wasn't....I was going to...I just..." Liv said softly. Words seeming to struggle to come out. Right now she wasn't even bothered by the fact that they were both dripping wet and naked.

Liv leaned on the sink. Even that felt like it was impossible for her. She felt like she had been double teamed. But not in a good way. Like 2 trucks hit her from both sides.

"Everything thing...is just...." She didn't want to but her knees slowly buckled under her weight and she slid down onto the cold floor. Slowly the world became a blur and faded into black. The blonde woman had fallen fast asleep.

Theresa looked down at the burger one more time before giving it a final prod to make sure it was safe. She picked it up the same way Theonis did and took as big a bite as she could manage. Her eyes immediately lit up and she began to devour the food on her plate like someone who hadn't eaten in years.

Rydia frowned and picked Liv up with little effort. Her father's people, the Baste, were unnaturally strong from birth. She looked over her shoulder and spat at Heather in a very regal tone. "Your blood aside, what you were about to do is unforgivable. Count yourself fortunate that I was here to stop you before you allowed the beast to take over."

Heather opened her mouth to say something, but she knew there was nothing she could possibly say to excuse her behavior. She looked down at her hands and feet once more. She huffed, drew her knees up to her chest, and began to sob loudly.

Rydia shook her head and walked into the bedroom. She gently placed Liv on the bed and stood back for a moment to admire the artwork that was the human in front of her. She went back into the bathroom and returned with a towel. She had never dried herself before, let alone another person, but she knew Liv could get sick if she was allowed to stay wet and naked.

Kerana looked around it wasn't quite what she expected but she also did not want to offend Deora's hospitality. "It's um... co-zy?" It was something that she needed to get used to. Her phone went off, it was another e-mail from Valhalla pointing out that the current danger had been extinguished but at the cost of so many lives. This news sadden her, was Valhalla even safe anymore? How did this threat by pass their security. She put that matter aside for now. "So what's next? Wait, Damien... you were able to grab some information from that guy right? What were you able to find out?"

Damien took a moment to get a read on the people closest to them to make sure they weren't about to be ambushed. Satisfied, he took a seat on the floor.

"Your parents are alive, and are in holding with many others who bore metahuman children."

He stopped abruptly, as though there were something else he had something else on his mind.

"Wow slow down. I'm glad you're enjoying yourself but you could choke on your food if you eat so fast." Theo quickly said as he watched her devour her food. It was nice to see her discover something that normal people take for granted.

It took a while to fully register what happened and is currently happening. Rydia was trying to dry her with the towel after she had collapsed.

"Did I?....I collapsed didn't I?" Liv asked, wanting to get up but a headache prevented it. Slowly she let herself sink back into the bed. It didn't take super-hearing to hear Heather crying.

"Oh Heather....I'm sorry..."Liv apologized." Could...could you get her for me? I'll be fine. I need to help her....Please Rydia." Liv pleaded. Afterwards she began absorbing the light around her. It wasn't as before. Despite being fully exposed to the rays she was flickering. Or rather...her glow was. She needed to stay away to set things right with Heather. But after her charge she was completely empty when it came to her powers.

Theresa cleaned her plate of all the food. She then licked the plate of any crumbs, juices, or sauces that may have escaped from the burger.

She looked up at Theonis and held the plate at him.

"More!" she demanded.

Liv's eyes shot open with a sharp gasp. Almost in a panic she looked around, ready to strike out. It seemed that even in sleep her mind wasn't comfortable with the dark. It took a while to fully register what happened and is currently happening. Rydia was trying to dry her with the towel after she had collapsed.

"Did I?....I collapsed didn't I?" Liv asked, wanting to get up but a headache prevented it. Slowly she let herself sink back into the bed. It didn't take super-hearing to hear Heather crying.

Rydia stopped drying and crossed her arms over her bare chest.

"I don't like it, but something tells me you aren't the sort to let up. I'll be close."

A few minutes later Heather shuffled out of the bathroom, wrapped in a towel and fully human. She hugged her arms and kept her eyes down.

"I...I don't know what to say." she mumbled.

"I think I am." Ako said. He was feeling better, more focussed, more aware. Like the cobwebs were clearing up. "Were there this many major events while I was gone? How'd you get anything done?"

Gidget laughed and slid off the bed. "You must've forgotten that I didn't need sleep for thirteen years. You can get a lot done when everyone else is asleep. Let's go, sexy."

A few moments later they were walking through the door and approaching the table Trinity, Theonis, and a strange teenager were standing by.

"I'm so glad you're all okay. Is that the girl Trinity was talking about? The one that saved this place?"

"Wow...you just straight up devoured that thing huh?" Theo said with a bit of a chuckle. He took the plate and put it on the table.

"Afterwards. Eating too much in one go can be bad for you. Still plenty of flavors to discover. Alright?"

He turned when Gidget and Ako entered the room.

"Good to see you two are okay. And yes,...she did. From the second threat anyway. First one has also been taken care of,"Theo responded to Gidget's question.

Liv had quickly wrapped the towel around her the best she could before Heather slowly walked in. She was looking a bit better now that she had gotten more energy.

"No, it's...it's my fault for leading you on. I did kinda give you blue balls there. The more I relaxed, the more the exhaustion came up.To be fair...I didn't sleep for a month."

Liv pushed herself of the bed and gave Heather a hug.

"It's been a hard day for all of us. So....let's go get something to eat then watch a soppy movie and crash, alright?"

Trinity smiled as she saw Gidget and her boyfriend enter the room. "Now we have that cleared up let me fill you guys in on an up coming event that may effect us on epic level."

She relayed the summary of what Silhouette told her and the others earlier with an occasional rub of the head correcting herself on the names based on whispers from Silhouette. "… So to sum up what resides in me right now is not a demon, but an ancient who warned us about the Hell Star. Over the centuries Dusk has been trying to unleash the Hell Star and the meteor showers are the results of these attempts. Should he manage to free the Hell Star it will bring the end of the world bringing death to the majority that aren't ready."

Liv had quickly wrapped the towel around her the best she could before Heather slowly walked in. She was looking a bit better now that she had gotten more energy.

"No, it's...it's my fault for leading you on. I did kinda give you blue balls there. The more I relaxed, the more the exhaustion came up.To be fair...I didn't sleep for a month."

Liv pushed herself of the bed and gave Heather a hug.

"It's been a hard day for all of us. So....let's go get something to eat then watch a soppy movie and crash, alright?"

Heather huffed and nestled into Liv's embace. She still felt awful, but it felt good to be held.

"I'd like that. At least I can spend some time for you before I go back to my cell."

Gidget listened intently for a while, but after a few minutes she felt the need to sit down.

"That...is a lot to take in. But, I mean, why would he do this? Just destroy everything? The, it's...I can't even collect my thoughts there is so much going in in my head! I just wish we could speak with, Silhouette was it?"

Sil paused for a moment before speaking to Trinity.

"There is more to tell. I was interrupted by the Dead Dream Dust. Could you please give me form so that I may speak to everyone? Just will me into being as you would one of your summoned creatures."
