"I do. And I'm going to have to take you up on your offer to help. Heather is as secure as she can be right now. Trinity and the group are with her. However, there is an impending tidal wave threatening to drown the remainder of the people who lived on the island that she was headed to. Trinity and Liv can only teleport so many people. Trinity's estimate is around 20 thousand. I don't know how vast your resources are but it would be nice if we can save them all. I'm sending you the coordinates. There should be 6 other islands nearby the initial coordinates. They are scattered amongst them."

Damien brought his thumb and forefinger up to his chin as the thought about what Deora said. He thought back to the different television shows he watched that had ten year old characters on them.

He looked up to Deora and said, "No problemo, dude. I can keep my brains on the DL, yo. I'm cool, I'm cool."

"How was that?"
he then asked.

Deora did her best to keep from laughing at the boy's attempt. She didn't doubt it was his best attempt, but it was painfully far from passable. She had to wonder what combination of shows had given him the idea that that was how kids spoke. Was that a "No problemo, dude?" Was that from the Simpsons?

Barely keeping a straight face, she cleared her throat to suppress a giggle. "That was... pretty good. It needs work, but it's a first step. What do you think, Kay?"

"Well it's a start to blend in amongst the crowd that's for sure.

However, it does sound... I dunno... a little too 90s? And that's like 20 years ago...now... just stick with us, loosen up and be yourself.

Don't try to pretend your Bart Simpson, because then people will think you're trying too hard. Just stick with us for a bit and maybe we'll rub off on yah a little cat_wink "

((ooc: I cry on the inside with this post (I'm a total 90s chic who still likes to think it was just 10 at least years ago)))

The shadow fist nailed Chariot in the face and caused her to stumble back a bit. The mask had taken the brunt of the attack, but it still hurt her considerably. She spun her wheels and positioned herself with the sun at her back to keep the shadows in front of her.

It was that moment of distraction that Freya had been waiting for. She burst from the sand like a cartoon mole, still glowing silver, and kicked Chariot in the head.

Chariot barely felt the attack, but she was annoyed enough to spin herself 360 degrees and throw Freya toward Trinity with the side of her shield.

Freya snapped back up as soon as she hit the ground at Trinity's feet. She was completely untouched, but she didn't look all that happy.

"Didja miss me?" she asked her student.

Trinity smirked and responded, "Always. Good entrance by the way... What's with the silver glow?" Her eyes were focused on Chariot even though her conversation was with her sensei.

Ugh she really needed to take a good shower after this to get all of the sand out of her hair. She shielded her eyes from the sand as it was kicked up. Sure she knew it was coming but that didn't mean she wouldn't shield herself from it. Then it hit her like a truck. That headache and blurry vision.....but that quickly vanished. Okay...around 30 seconds. Now she knew. Her eyes faded and her normal blue eyes returned.

"Maybe Chariot over there would have been more of a challenge".

Ray was quick to relay any and all information to his people to get things rolling. It didn't take long for him to receive a direct feed of satellite imagery.

"Consider it done. Although I feel it necessary to tell you that thermal imaging is showing only a fraction of what Miss Smith estimated. CH-47's are inbound now. They should arrive at the islands shortly."

"Thank you, Mister Richards. Please contact me when the helicopters arrive. I will be in town."
he stated. He waited for Theonis to acknowledge his request and hung up the phone.

Damien nodded to the girls, appreciative of their honest critique. He stepped into the elevator and waited for his companions.

"I shall do my best to 'loosen up.' I do not want to be perceived as a 'weirdo,' or a 'child of the corn...' whatever that is." he stated flatly.

Freya made a face and huffed, "I think it makes me invincible. Those spikes should've killed me earlier, but I'm very much alive. Problem is that it looks like I trade defense for offense. I put everything into that kick, but that wheelie b***h didn't even flinch."

"So..."
she stood upright and pounded her knuckles together. He aura flashed and shifted to gold.

"round two."

Luna cut her eyes at Liv and uncrossed her arms again. She was about to unleash Hell when a dark whisper spoke to her.

Luna willed the orbs back into herself and called to her blonde sister. "Chariot, we're done here. Prism and Strength got what they needed."

Chariot glared at Luna and spat out, "No! I want to play some more! I'm not done!"

Luna's tone went from aloof to stern as she said, "We're outnumbered. He's called us back. We have to leave. Now."

Chariot whined loudly and returned her body to normal. She lifted her mask and stuck her tongue out at Trinity and Freya like a child. Her face was identical to that of the girl that was lying on the ground.

"Nyah! Don't die before I get to play with you again." she taunted. She then ignited her jetpack and flew off in the direction she came.

Luna removed her mask as well. She was also identical to the one she called "Rock." She glared stoically at Liv and sighed, "You're a lot more trouble than he thinks you are, but you'll need more than fancy eyes and light tricks to stop him."

Her warning, although flat, was genuine. It was almost like a request. She took one last look at Rock before floating off on her disc in the direction Chariot left in.

Thea watched her sisters leave. Even though they had always been cruel to her, she felt sorry for them. She was older than all four of them, but she was an easy target for their sick games.

It was Luna, though, who began to show restraint recently. Sure, she would follow orders, but she never took things as joyfully as the others did.

The girl code named Rock flopped back down on the sand and sighed with relief. "I'm so glad they weren't fighting seriously." she muttered.

Liv remained silent as she got her warning. It didn't sound like she was just making things up.

"I know." Liv replied but in a soft voice. She had seen it. Despite having the eyes and Light, which should have been his kryptonite, his real form isn't really phased by it. She may need to tether herself to the Light Realm in order to damage him.

"Will do." Theo replied and hung up. Right after he texted Trinity. She seemed very busy when he last called so she might not have picked up if he had called.

As the girls left she felt her phone buzzed. Instinctively she reached for it only to be blocked by the armor.Sil something to keep in mind. I need to have access to my smartphone. There are times where I need to text my troops or figure out the logistics of things. Since the danger seemed to be away for now she breathed out and said the word "release" and willed the armor off.

She looked to the sky and wondered what would they be after that resorted in them to head to a crumbling island. She looked at the text and quirked an eyebrow,"It looks like an extraction team is on the way. It looks like they had to go with Charles Ray's resources…" she felt conflicted about relying on the man, considering the past. However there's a good chance he would not place his daughter in danger.

She looked to Heather she walked over to her. As she got her attention she said, "It's safe to shift to your more human form if you wish. I've got some clothes, hopefully they fit, the pants are stretch jeans." She reached down to her shadow, Sill handed her the clothes she was thinking of. It was a little unexpected but she had to remember that now Sil is her shadow.

"Gah. This has been happening to me all week. I'll bend over a certain way, or smell something that sets it off. That Disc Jerk we ran into earlier didn't exactly help much either."...

..."Every time I think I'm over this stupid tummy bug it just comes back."
she huffed....

..."Don't look so worried. I'm just glad I haven't given this bug to you."

"Sorry, it just set in kinda quick. It caught me off guard." Ako said, moving to her side. He rubbed a hand on her back, not knowing what else to do. "Do you have any idea what it is? Have you seen a doctor about it?"

Rydia sat back up and watched as the girls flew off. She glanced at the girl that had seemingly saved her life. Not fighting seriously? What was left for them to do?

She then heard what Trinity said and sighed, "Thank the ancestors!"

She then flopped back into the sand and looked up at the sky.

Heather gave the dragon priests time to climb off her back before she gave some distance for her steam to disperse without burning anyone. Her hollow back spikes released the boiling mist and enveloped Heather. Thirty seconds later the steam dispersed and Heather was standing in the center of the wet sand stark naked. No scales, no wings, no claws. She was human.

She looked down at herself and gasped. Her eyes, which still maintained their draconic appearance, widened and welled up. She didn't know what to say or do, she just stood there aghast.

Sil whispered to Trinity, "I think you may have to help her. She appears to be stuck."

Gidget knew exactly what it was, and she had been to the doctor about it. She felt terrible about lying to Ako, but she was very much terrified at how he might react.

With a nervous chuckle, she rubbed the back of her head. "Ahah...nope. Silly me. I've been so occupied with projects, and waiting for whatever this is to go away, that it's completely slipped my mind."

She hoped he would stop asking about it. She knew she couldn't hide it forever, but she didn't want to tell him like this, not now.

Trinity nodded at Sil's observation, Not entirely... She approached Heather cautiously, trying not to spook her. "It has been a while huh?" she whispered with a gentle tone as she placed her green trench coat over her shoulders.
