Sill shook her head. "I have to go where you go. The best we could do is summon up some shadow beasts to keep him busy while you do what you're thinking of doing."

"Yeah let's go." Liv said just as fast. She grabbed hold of Rydia's arm and both vanished in a flash.

Kerana
"I'm sorry we bothered you Alexavier. I guess we'll need to figure something else." She looked to Deora, "I'm sorry, I thought he could do it. I'm running out of ideas of how to get this message to Trinity." Her ears flatten in dispair,"So what now? Should we try reaching out to Theonis? He may have more resources." She knew Deora wouldn't like the idea but there wasn't anyone else she could think of. "If you have a better idea I'd like to hear it."

At his threats, Deora's fists clenched at her sides, and her mind filled with images of slamming her fist into his face, or maybe delivering a nice swift kick where the sun didn't shine. She hadn't forgotten everything she'd learned in the streets, she still took threats very seriously. Even if someone seemed more powerful, there were plenty of dirty tricks to help a smaller opponent win.

As it was, she had to bite her tongue just to keep from saying anything more to this pendejo. She was constantly trying to improve herself, to make her power stronger and more dextrous, and this guy was content to just say he wasn't good enough! He didn't even make an effort!

At least Kerana was there to take her mind off of Alex, even if it was by bringing up someone she'd disliked longer. At least Theonis had proven to be less of a sleaze than his first impression suggested. "Fine, let's find someone who will at least put up some kind of effort." She said, turning her back to Alex with a flippantly dismissive wave over her shoulder. "Maybe he won't hit on us this time." She muttered.

Where they appeared was a grand cathedral that had been hidden away from all but the royal family. The room was forged from marble and crystals. At the far end of the room was a large crystal fixture with several smaller crystals above it. There appeared to be a strange sort of energy being drawn from the crystals, or rather, the being that was within the giant crystal.

Within the crystal, seemingly asleep, was an Elvin woman that looked like an older Kaelonni. Her arms were crossed in front of her and she had an expression of purest serenity.

Dusk was rushing up to the main crystal when the small ones above it began to hum and spin rapidly. From them came a burst of holy beams that converged upon him. He easily took the force of the beams with Izayoi, which simply fed on the energy being delivered. However, this forced him to move at a much slower pace to ensure he wasn't eviscerated by the light.

Rydia was about to rush up to attack him when she skid to a halt.

In front of her was several scratch marks that had been made by Dusk's void blade. From within the gouges emerged dozens of nightmarish void creatures that looked eerily similar to Legion's bio-beasts save that they were pitch black and smoking.

Rydia slashed at the one closest to her with her spirit claws. It reared, but did not fall. The princess roared, "C'mon!"

Kerana took a minute to find where Theonis' office is. Once found Kerana and Deora made their way to his office as quick as possible. When arrived Kerana knocked on the door as they entered.

Julie looked up and said, "Hi, how may I help you?"

"Hi, I'm Kerana and this is Deora. We're here because we have some vital information on Trinity's mission. Please, we really need to speak with Mr. Richards."

Julie nodded then buzzed her boss, "Mr. Richards, Ms. Kerana and Ms. Deora are here to see you. They say it's very important, concerning Ms. Smith's mission."

"Very well." She turned toward the target. The necromancer clone could hear growling from 3 directions. Shadow wolves circle him. She waited for Sill to add her beasts and then started heading toward the surface. She managed to find Heather's shadow.

Carefully she approached her. "Hi Heather. How are you holding up?"

The necromancer had only noticed a split second between Trinity disappearing and the wolves emerging from where she was. That was a new trick indeed.

Heather was still very much a dragon, but now she was actually smiling just a little bit. She was being tended to by the members of the Red Dragon's order. Their healers were working on repairing her wounds, several had brought her food from the surrounding woods, and the others were had at work doing the whole worship thing.

She craned her head over to Trinity and sighed, "Much better. These guys creeped me out at first, but it turns out they're really nice."

"But what about you? What's going on inside the walls?"

Theonis snapped out of his thoughts as he got buzzed by Julie.

"Let them in." He responded. Vital information? How could they possibly.....Alec...of course. He didn't know why but he easily forgets about that kid. It would have been best to send them to him before the mission.

As they entered he welcomed them and asked them if they wanted to sit down.
He leaned forward with his elbows and folded his hands.

"It's been a while, is what I'd like to say but we just saw each other at Heather's. So, what information do you ladies have for me?"

Liv's first thought was Vivi when she saw a woman in the crystal. But how could that even be? Silhouette and Eclipse survived in the shadow realm and by being 'sealed' in someone. But upon closer inspection it looked more like an older version of Kaelonni. Her...mother perhaps?

She then noticed the beasts trying to crawl out of the scratches. This was bad....Liv continued to walk towards the center as she fired her light at the beings. She had hoped to have enough shadow manipulation to try and close those gaps if they were indeed coming from the shadow realm. She then began to fire her own beams of light at Eclipse from behind. But then she had a better idea. Liv just hoped it would work. Her eyes became the complete All Seeing Eyes and she became ethereal once more. After teleporting herself in front of the crystal she looked at the person inside before turning around to face Dusk. Her gaze was fully upon him and she unleashed the blizzard upon him.

"Or what walls that are left…" she rubbed the back of her head. "Lots of stuff going down, I'll fill you in at a later time. Right now I need your help. How would you like to fry one of the masked bastards that brought you here?"

Inhuman cries emanated from Dusk alongside another voice that belonged to Teshoumaru. He could feel the gaze of Liv's eyes upon him, so he knew that he shouldn't attempt to look at her face.

The zaps from the light beams began to chip away at his human shell. Gradually his true body was starting to reveal itself. Once those parts were exposed he began to actually absorb the light into himself. It didn't nourish him in any way, but those blast didn't seem to hurt him anymore.

Two extra arms that looked like the bestial talons from before burst from his back and took hold of the last two blades he had on his hips. One was Teshoumaru's telescoping blade, the other seemed to be vibrating so much that it looked like a blur.

With another roar, Rydia finished off the last of the void beasts. She looked up and saw what Dusk had started to become. She recognized the vibrating blade and cried out to Liv.

"Watch out for that vibrating odachi! That's uncle Teshoumaru's trump card."

With a monstrous caw he took a horizontal swipe that seemed to burn the air it cut through, sending out a light bending void crescent that aimed to cut Liv in half at the waist.

Heather gave Trinity a big toothy grin. "I would like that a lot. Climb on and point me in the right direction. I hope it's that zombie jerk. That cackle of his was driving me crazy on the ride here."

Once of the dragon priests approached Trinity hastily.

"Many pardons, oh revered Trinity, but the almighty Ember musn't move yet."

Heather gently prodded the priest with the dull side of her index claw. "Hey, don't worry about me. I'm a whole lot better now thanks to you guys. I'll be fine if Trinity's with me."

Liv saw it all coming with her eyes. Eclipse's real shape. His aura was so dark and intense that contained many shapes. It told her of his betrayal. How he cause his sister to fall. She saw the attack coming but it left her with her own mind to decide what to do against it. If she got out of the way that attack would surely damage the crystal. She knew she had little shadow powers left but the eyes showed her it could work if she had enough.

Liv became flesh again and curled up to create shadow. Enough to cover herself or rather the part that would get it. She tried to connect that to Eclipse's shadow so he'd get hit by his own attack.

Dusk's attack clashed with Liv's shadow. There was a wash of black sparks that sprayed from the point of contact. The crescent was locked in a stalemate with Liv's shadow. The connection with Dusk was causing the two powers to cancel one another out as like ends of a magnet would.

The odachi stopped vibrating since it's power had been completely depleted. The shell that was his human form was almost completely broken. What was left of his face was twisted in rage, the other part revealed three flaming eyes that danced in the darkness of his form. One of which turned around to look to Rydia. The extra limbs swung out to attack her.

The princess leaped and tumbled around the attacks, but the ferocity of them made her unable to find an opening. She was forced to continue dodging.

Dusk's many voices vibrated through the crystal hall.

"Your defiance is futile! One way or another I will bring this island crashing down! Then no one will be able to stop the coming flood of madness, terror, and chaos!"

It didn't work the way she had planned but worked none the less. She had protected the crystal. Her vision went blurry for a second and she grabbed her head. It was pounding. Both the blurry vision and headache left as quickly as it came but she knew why it came. She was not used to these eyes yet and a human has never had them before.

She shook her head and shot out a strong blast of lightning at Eclipse. " Not if we can help it!

Dusk twitched and writhed, his many voices mewling in agony. Several more limbs burst from his back and struck out at Liv. Due to the electricity running through his system there was little control to his attacks. One of them lashed out and shattered one of the small crystals drawing energy from the large one. This caused the island to quake slightly.

The wrecked Rydia's balance and caused her to stumble. The telescoped blade of Teshoumaru wildly lashed out and slashed her face from just below her right eye, across her nose, and just over her left eye. The slash also split her band, exposing her left eye.

She cried out and grabbed her face instinctively. Her exposed eye allowed her to better predict the attacks that were coming at her, but the involuntary twitching caused by the lightning was making it difficult.
