More Meteor Showers Bring Even Stranger Powers. (O/A)

"I don't really care about anything so boredom comes easily. Conversations and the actions that come after are my way of distracting myself. Sure killing is fun and all but if I keep on doing that....I'll get bored. Everything repeats over and over again no matter what activity you do. I'm sure in time I'll get bored of you too."

Annie raised a brow, "In time, huh? That isn't very exact. Regardless, as I was saying, I am surprised that you haven't gotten bored of my yet. I consider myself a fairly predictable."

She opened the car door and said, "Get in if you want to go back to Valhalla. That is where I'm headed, at the very least. You can stay here if you want. I'm not going to stop you-I don't care enough too and I'm not stupid enough to try."

She heard Theonis and nodded slowly. Then got off of him as he made his move to get off the bed.

"Heh. Right..." she hoped Tom would merely explain to her that she would need to pick a new Head of Security. She took a deep breath. She had to test her some how. Perhaps something that happened long enough ago that would be hard to forget. Like giving a certain blind meta sight. "Do you remember Justine?"

Gidget made a face and mouthed the name a few times. "'Justine...that was the cop my metal doppelganger made new eyes for right? Has something happened to her?"

"No, she's alright." Metal doppelgänger? Is that how it is huh? "There's something I'm trying to remember about that day I met her and Deora. Were you with me that day or was that the doppelgänger?"

"It almost sounds as if you want to get rid of me. Or maybe you just don't want anyone around. Attachment issues or something like that." Alexavier replied while getting into the car.

The being had released the man from both physical and mental grip.

"Thank you for your wisdom and experience, my friend." The creature spoke. Friend....to the being it felt like the correct word since he now knew everything about the man. The man who had shared everything with him. One-sided as it might be, to him the man was a friend.

The old man took a deep breath. "Well.....that's something you don't experience every day." The man confessed." It's time for my medication. I should be going. I hope you get what you were looking for." The man said and got up. With a small nod he went on his way. The creature began to contemplate over what he should do again

Annie glanced at him as she started the car and said bluntly, "Honestly, I don't think you bring the best out of me. Maybe it would be best if I tried to get rid of you... and about my attachment issues: it isn't that I have attachment issues. It is merely the fact I don't tend to get overly attached to anyone in the first place. I'll mingle. I'll enjoy people's company. But, getting attached to someone? Doesn't seem all that healthy. Besides you are not the type I would naturally be inclined to get attached to."

"Isn't that exactly what attachment issues mean?" Alexavier mumbled with a bit of a frown. He didn't buckle up. Why would he? Telekinesis for the win.

"You got your apatite from your mother?" Cassandra asked." Then again you are still growing so you need a lot of food."

"Not really," she answered as she backed the car out of the parking spot. "I get bored with most people. I have no more attachment issues than you do. Besides, unlike you, I don't have attachment issues on both extremes. Your connection with your sister. And, more importantly whatever grudge you had with Shane. I don't get obsessed with people. And, I have formed healthy attachments to people. I merely have high standards for those I form those attachments to."

"You got your apatite from your mother?" Cassandra asked." Then again you are still growing so you need a lot of food."

Christian raised a brow and answered, "No more than I got my powers from my mother. Technically, I have a variation of her power. Regardless, though, that sort of power uses energy from the individual's body. Calories are the body's energy. It is easier to use my power if I have a stock of Calories at my disposal. Though, it is probable that she has always had a fast metabolism. Powers tend to amplify or counteract ordinary traits. How else would you explain her powers as a sensor of auras. Obviously that is no way related to what is seen by many as her primary powers-the control of the molecular structure of liquids."

"No, she's alright." Metal doppelgänger? Is that how it is huh? "There's something I'm trying to remember about that day I met her and Deora. Were you with me that day or was that the doppelgänger?"

Gidget paused for a moment. What a strange question, she thought. "You know it was Gadget." she stated with an incredulous tone. "What's going on? You're dodging my question."

A tear streaked down her cheek, all was lost. All was truly lost and she can't let her know why. She took a deep breath and tried to come up with an explanation. "I've been emotionally compromised, Teshomaru went to rescue Freya and its been over a week since I last heard from him. I fear the worst but will have to go on a mission. One of which I may not return." She looked to Theonis. "I left my badge because I felt you should pick a new Head of Security. Chuck Richards is currently the Head of Security and Acting Head of Valhalla. Which seeing that you're up, you could relieve him of the latter. Goodbye Gidget." The last words were said with heavy sadness as if it was a final goodbye. She waited for her response and hung up. It wasn't like it was going to be a long goodbye considering she now barely even knew her.

She wiped her eyes and looked to Theonis,"She did what I was afraid off, not the way I expected but the result is the same" she grabbed her tissue. "I lost her Theo… I lost my best friend and she can never truly know why because it would only bring her pain." She rubbed her arms and held them tight her breath stuttering.

Theonis was still looking over some of his stocks trying to decide if he should withhold on selling at the moment. It seemed like a good time to do so but he had his doubts. He turned around when he heard the obvious change in Trinity's tone. Once he made it over to her, he wrapped his arms around her. He felt bad for her. Thirteen years just gone? Was it really? At times like these he hated his own mind but he couldn't help thinking about things. It's what he does.

"I'm sorry to hear that Trinity. But if you know I won't let you go alone when you go after your teacher right?"

"Hey, I am long over that. Right now I no longer have a grudge against the dude. Kind of owe him my life now. No longer feel that attached to Cassandra either. I don't even know what to call her. She isn't my sister since she once was me. Sure you could call us twins but no longer feels like it." Alexavier replied." Right now I am just as bored with people as you are."

"Hey, I am long over that. Right now I no longer have a grudge against the dude. Kind of owe him my life now. No longer feel that attached to Cassandra either. I don't even know what to call her. She isn't my sister since she once was me. Sure you could call us twins but no longer feels like it." Alexavier replied." Right now I am just as bored with people as you are."

"No? So you merely are hanging around what could be best described as his ex for no reason at all. Could be merely coincidence to tell the truth, and I suspect nothing beyond coincidence. However, I was the one who sparked the flame that led first to his transformation and then what happened to you and Cassandra," Annie answered. "And, it's not that I am bored with people. I have an addiction to people with positive auras. Neutral ones and bad ones are easy enough to find. Good ones... near impossible. I merely jump from person to person till I can find someone to give me my fix."

"You could say my son has similar feelings towards emotions," She added, "However it easier to find happy people than genuinely good people."

"I'm sorry to hear that Trinity. But if you know I won't let you go alone when you go after your teacher right?"

Trinity wiped her eyes a little and looked toward Theonis. "I was hoping you'd say something like that." She brought out her phone and mentioned,"The last thing I did before I informed IT was captured the co-ordinants of where he sent his last text from. It isn't much but it's a starting point."

Theo still had one arm around her and looked at her phone. "Yeah it's a start but I can't help but wonder which has a higher priority. Now I know to you this is it but that thing is a threat to pretty much everything." Theonis mentioned." But....we haven't heard from it and have no idea what it's up to. I suppose your option would be best since we can actually do something about it. You want to go now or ...?"

"So you basically hang around people for your own benefit. To get your 'fix' the way you describe it. " Alexavier replied. "Well for now you seem to be the only one willing to put up with me. Or it's the other way around. Not sure bout that one."

"Only what I consider good people to get my 'fix'," Annie corrected as they approached the garage entrance to Valhalla. "And I feel responsibility in regards to you. Like I said, it was my fault for what happened to you. My reckless decisions started the chain of events."

Theo still had one arm around her and looked at her phone. "Yeah it's a start but I can't help but wonder which has a higher priority. Now I know to you this is it but that thing is a threat to pretty much everything." Theonis mentioned." But....we haven't heard from it and have no idea what it's up to. I suppose your option would be best since we can actually do something about it. You want to go now or ...?"

"I'd like to go as soon as possible. I'll need to pick up some supplies. Is there anything you need to address before we head out?" For the first time in years Valhalla was no longer her home.
