*walks with Kits around the outside of the Aqua Springs main building, then inside* Wow, this is certainly a unique building, Kits.

Yeah, it was a bit of an accident. cat_sweatdrop We had a fire, and one of my friends had her imps help us rebuild. Somehow, one of them made all these apple trees grow, and some of them became part of the building.

*nods* Not many people would accept that explanation, you know. lol But I know you well enough, I believe you're telling the truth. *walks with her into the lounge for something warm to drink* Besides, I've seen how mischevious your imps can be.

I know. Most don't. cat_neutral But it doesn't really matter. Everyone is interested in the building anyway. If they don't believe the story behind it, that's their fault. *shrugs and orders them some hot apple cider* This is made from the trees that grow here. cat_3nodding

Oh, really? *takes a sip of the cider as soon as it's given to him* Ow, hot! But good. Much better than what I get in stores.

Of course it is. cat_xd *they sip their cider, sometimes chatting, but mostly sitting quietly. When they're done, they walk around the grounds for a while, looking at the decorations that are being put up* It'll look a lot better when all this is done and it's dark out.

I'm sure it will. *nods* You've done really well here, Kits. I wasn't expecting this much when you told me you own a water park.

Oh, it's a lot more than a water park now. *points out the winter activities area* All that will be going soon, too. I also had a partner at first. She did a lot of the financial backing.

Yeah. She left town for a while, then came back and signed everything over to me. I haven't seen her for a while, so I don't know if she left town again, or what. *shrugs* Oh well. It doesn't really matter anymore. I own Aqua Springs completely now. *starts to feel hungry* I think it's about time to go over to the Jade Dragon for dinner. You want to walk, or ride Smok and Velcore?

Walk, please. Riding the dragons is fun, but I don't think it agrees with my stomach. sweatdrop

*Flitters into the empty lounge and lands over by the duck pond. Picks up a duck and checks the number before setting it back into the pond. Flapping her wings, she heads back outside and waves her wand all around the grounds, making the plants and trees glitter in the moonlight before she flitters off into the darkness.* 4laugh

*walking through the grounds, Kits looks over the shining lights and smiles. The finished displays had turned out better than she'd hoped. Once again, suggestions from the crew putting the lights up had helped make some of it look better. She stepped off the path to allow the horse-drawn carriage with people taking the tour of lights to pass. The local business owners had decided on a variety of vehicles, to accomodate the different tastes of the guests. Some were open, like the carriages. Others were enclosed, heated vehicles, in different sizes to allow for larger and smaller groups. The information desk had the phone number to call the lot where the vehicles were parked if somebody wanted to start their tour at Aqua Springs*

*Kits reached the door of the lounge and turned, looking over the shining lights and glittering trees before going inside for something warm to drink*

*sits with her hot cocoa by the fire, taking some time to relax before she walks home* Hmmm... Wonder what I should have for dinner. *feels her phone vibrate in her pocket and takes it out. She finds a text from Karrie, asking if she wants to join him for dinner. She agrees, then asks what they're having* Guess I don't have to worry about that. cat_xd

*sips her cocoa, waiting for his response*

*finishing her cocoa, she sighs. Karrie hasn't responded yet. cat_stare She collects Jack from the pet spa, then heads over to his house anyway* cat_neutral

*walks back to her office from the pet spa. Everything was ready for the next day. The regular guests had been informed of the change of location while the filming was being done. Extra security would be on hand, and the staff was prepared to help keep people away from the filming locations. In the rental building, warm drinks and snacks would be prepared for the staff and pets staying in the garden.

Kits had also talked to the staff in the lounge, and they would have a supply of snacks and drinks in the small kitchen near the pet spa that was usually used only for the pets. That way, the actors and film crew wouldn't have to go across the building for refreshments*

Not that Tes asked for all of this, but I think it's probably a good idea. *lays down on the couch* A lot of these people don't get out here very often, and it's an opportunity to make a good impression. cat_3nodding *yawns* Maybe I'll just close my eyes for a few minutes... emotion_zzz

*nudging the door open, Jack slinks into Kits' office. He sees Kits lying on the couch, asleep, and jumps up, landing on her stomach*

Oof! Jack, what was that... *sees the clock on the wall* cat_surprised Oops. cat_sweatdrop I guess we'd better get home. *holding Jack, she sits up and turns the office lights off on her way out*

*After some delay at Mir's house while she gathered everything together that she thought she and her baby might need throughout the day, her and the dark elves finally arrive at AS. Tes is about to make a pit stop in the lounge for a steamer, but security catches him and informs him that refreshments for the crew are being made available at the pet spa. It means more of a wait since the pet spa is further away from the entrance than the lounge, but probably for the better. Though there aren't many patrons there at this hour, there's already a couple of people nosing about trying to figure out what's going on and get in on it rolleyes

Upon their arrival at the pet spa, Tes is bombarded by the small crew he'd called out there, each of them wanting to know where they should set up. emotion_facepalm He has to ask Ryzan to go retrieve his steamer for him while he deals with the crew, meanwhile Miro tries to find a coworker she trusts enough to look after Morion sweatdrop

Cameras, lights, and microphones start getting set up and tested as Tes stands back and supervises when suddenly he feels a hand on his backside, giving it a squeeze. At first he thinks nothing of it, figuring it's just Ry coming back with his steamer. He casually turns, expecting his husband to be standing there holding out a cup or mug for him, but instead it's Taus* *eye twitch*

You really went all out on this, didn't you? *flicks his tongue at the dark elf*
*shudders* I already told you, we're shooting a movie... stressed
Oh, I can definitely see that now.
*walks around so that he's practically nose to nose with Tes*
Though I bet it's not the kind of movie you told your husband you were making~ twisted
AHEM! stare
*suddenly stands straight and see Ryzan glaring at him from beside Tes*

Aside from being a supportive husband, Ry here is also assistant director.

*eyes both Tes and Ryzan, grinning widely as he reaches down with both hands and cops a feel on them at the same time*

*two people from security show up soon after Tes calls for them. Seeing the man on the ground rubbing his jaw and slowly recovering, they worry that they made a mistake on letting him through* sweatdrop

You! *he points at one of them*

Give me your taser stare *holds hand out*
My... uh... *looks to the other security guy who just shrugs*
But sir, that's...
*snatches it from the guy's belt and walks over to Taus, shoving him back on the ground with his foot before crouching next to him*
Now... I'm going to need Draa for this scene. You can either let him out on your own like I'm assuming you did for the try-outs, or... *flips on the taser*
*narrows his eyes at the dark elf, turning his head to spit out the blood in his mouth and very purposefully aiming it at Tes' shoes*
I don't know what the ******** you're talking about. stare

*jabs Taus briefly with the taser*
eek Sir! I don't think you should...
I'm done with you now. You can go back to your positions.
*gives the other security guy an uneasy look, reluctantly following as they return to their previous post*
*keeps an eye on Taus as he goes into convulsions, cycling through different hair, eye, and skin colors in the meantime*

*sees Tes has his "business face" on, so keeps a safe distance*
Might I ask.... *motions to the script* ... what is it that made you believe this "tasing" process, as you call it, would cause him to switch.
*shrugs*

*looks up for a moment to see that uncertain look on Ryzan's face*

Yeah. Someone who was here that night Mir went into labor shot some video with their phone... showed him running off while switching through looks kind of like he is now.

:: managed to get someone to watch Morion for a while, but it was only long enough for her to get into costume crying Getting into noon, the place was becoming a lot more busy, especially as word about the movie shoot started getting around. She carries her child back over to the set to inform Tes that she might need more time, finding him and Ryzan standing over someone ::

*pinches the bridge of his nose. By now he's tried tasing Taus at least two more times, and each time he just goes back to the mixed up state of features he arrived in* emotion_facepalm
Well, this is going to put a major damper on movie production...

*turns to Ry, motioning toward Taus who's still twitching from the last tase*
The hair and make-up people can probably take care of most of it, but I haven't hired any yet stressed Think you can do something about... -that-? emotion_eyebrow

It is difficult to say sweatdrop With mzilst, my illusion capabilities are limited in that I cannot control the appearance of their hair and eye color. My spells are only meant to portray a certain race, jhal the specifics regarding how a person's features adapt to that race are beyond my control sweatdrop I can only manipulate such details on myself.

Great stare Well, just try a dark elf illusion and see if that makes him look like Draa.
J.. Jugare... sweatdrop *starts to cast* Jhal, there is still a problem in that personality of his...
I'm sure you could take care of that too...

:: slumps her shoulders at overhearing that exchange. She did suspect it wouldn't really be Draa, but couldn't help but be disappointed anyway. Soon, the overall mood of the room starts getting to her son and he becomes fussy, which finally gets Tes' attention ::

Uh... yeah... I think he's going to have to be taken outside or into the lounge or something... emotion_eyebrow :: motioning toward the baby ::

:: that annoyed look on Tes' face and the tone of his voice hits her just right (or perhaps wrong) in conjunction with everything else she was feeling at the moment and she becomes complete awash with emotion, breaking down into tears :: crying

*upon finishing casting the illusion, he immediately notices that the hair didn't change and was still that mix of black and green. Taus' eyes were closed now that he'd stopped twitching, but it was probably safe to assume those were similarly still void. But aside from that, he did look similar to Tes, which means that's probably closest to Draa he was going to get out of the illusion. He turns to Tes just as his husband is handing a handkerchief to Miro and has him take a look at the results*

Do you want to perhaps wait until we have crew for hair and make-up? sweatdrop
*groans, massaging the bridge of his nose.* Probably have to. Even if we just went with how he is, I don't think we're going to get anything productive out of Mir right now...

What's this?
*quickly turns when he hears a different voice in the room, first finding that Taus is no longer on the floor and is instead standing uncomfortably close to Mir and her baby* stressed sonofa... stressed
*grabs him by the collar and jerks him away.*
Since it looks like production's a flop today, you can just get the hell out of here scream
*tosses him toward the door, but instead of leaving, his head is tilted curiously*

What is "hell"? neutral And how am I supposed to get it out?

*eye twitches, seeing "Taus" looking at him questioningly with pale blue glowing eyes.*

*with the elves all looking at each other in confusion, he walks up to Miro again, curiously inspecting the creature she's holding in her arms*

*watches Vass cautiously as he approaches Mir again*

*isn't sure what to think when he seems as though he's wanting to touch her baby, but instinctively she wants to pull away. However, as his hand gets closer, Morion reaches out and grabs his finger*
*smiles, though doesn't quite know why he's smiling. This baby was definitely very familiar to him. Suddenly, he gets a brief flash of a partial memory, looking up meekly at Miro with a slight blush on his cheeks*
