Reason for joining: I think Miela would fit in really well and it would give her a chance to meet others like and similar to herself.
IC reason for joining: Miela lost her sister and her sister's mate when they were journeying and has a daughter who is joining a herd far away from her mother. She is lonely, though she has tried to make friends on the outside. She wants a family, and the Flock would provide that for her.
Desired rank and reason: Forager because she has good eyes and a good nose for fruits and berries and prefers those to meat. She would spend as much time as needed finding the appropriate amounts of food for the Flock. She is also very strong so hauling baskets of food around wouldn't be a problem.

Reason for joining: I wanted a mare in the flock and to surprise Mencari with a long lost sister.
IC reason for joining: Semira joined at a very young age with her mother. She has no memories of life outside the flock.
Desired rank and reason: Guard or Head Guard under Zahraa' (Mostly because WHY NOT - with the fighting coming seems like that would be a good thing to have?). Semira is dedicated to her home and her sisters and would do anything to protect them and their way of life. For her, serving as a guard feels like a natural extension of these feelings.

Reason for joining: I've always wanted to join the flock and Gainesh seems the perfect type. He'd be content having other males to socialize with in the safezone, and having someone provide a stable living environment would be good for him. He does better when he things are provided for him and he's not worried about day to day survival. He's nocturnal so having protection during the day would definitely be an asset. Gainesh is loyal, so if he's happy in the flock it'll be unlikely for him to leave. More on Gainesh
How did he end up being captured?: I figure Gainesh could either be surprised during the day (when he is least active) or while out hunting (either overpowered or enticed).
Will you be escaping later? If yes, how?: Not planning to atm, no.

Can Catch Solo

Aylin She isn't USUALLY near the main flock territory and thus doesn't usually bother capturing stallions since the Ancestral Lands are still recovering and she and the few NPC Mares that stay with her (and occasionally real mares on pilgrimages) cant really keep any and it'd be too much of a resource strain to keep guards on Safezone duty, however she DOES visit the flock with regularity and if she notices a Stallion within the Flock hunting grounds outside the main territory she'd capture them. Her Capture method is fairly straight to the point and old fashioned: Catch stallion for trespassing in their territory and take them in for observation. Would drop them off in the safezone after looking them over and making sure the spirits are good, but not really help them settle at all.

Laveda is one of the priestesses and Oracles in Training. (Katch has another Oracle in Training) and Daughter of Aylin and Taarab. She's rather straight to the point as well, but also fairly gentle and cautious, giving stallions the option to come peacefully and why they should come, and ask if they are lifemated (In a rather blunt, straight forward method., before enforcing it if they choose to do it the hard way. Doesnt really have a personal interest in capturing or helping stallions settle in, but would check up on them regularly and set them up with people who are better suited at settling them in.

Vaniania A woodcarver and percussionist, Vaniania is daughter of Taarab and Vanya. Her style of capture is either persuade and sneak out if uninterested, or capture when under attack or when other mares are around so she doesn't have an option to just let them go. She's willing to help the stallions settle in as their primary guard as long as they dont mind hanging out in the artisan guild a lot while she works. Will sometimes help them if they cant settle in escape by 'accident', or if they have a REALLY good reason to leave (Example: a stallion who was in for only a single breeding with her was following his sister. She kept him around to see if the flock had some news, teach him about the local plants since he was a desert pony, and stock him up with some stuff to help him fight off the wet-cold of the forest that time of the year, before letting him 'escape', pointing him in a direction to help his sister out)


Vanmoriel Vaniania's basketmate (Same breeding sibling), pigment maker and painter. Her main method seems to be (Reading Rps from back when she was owned by Lolternative) finding injured stallions in need of help and protection, bringing them into the flock for protection they obviously needed. So I suppose she'd be someone who'd bring others in willingly. She's willing to help the stallions settle in as their primary guard as long as they dont mind hanging out in the artisan guild a lot while she works.


Risuleri Earthstrike Another convincing type who happens to be a dancer (Seems to be most artsy mares tend to be the convincing sort). She's willing to act as bait to keep stallions focused on her while other mares trap them, but really usually captures arent a group effort unless a stallion manages to get away from a single mare or startles into a camp of them. Helps them settle in and shows them around.


Gersemi Physical therapist and practicer of preventive medicine. She doesnt leave the flock territory too often, and she's rather straight forward capture, but she doesnt really put her heart into it because she has no interest in stallions at all (she only has her breedings with whistle stallions or stallions willing to just get it over with cause she's gay and not interested in being physical with them at all). Though if a stallion strikes her up with a conversation before she can catch him off guard she'll tell it to him straight and he can come willingly without her trying to lift a claw. She's just not going to physically try to do anything to help them afterwards, just hand them to the nearest person able to take them to the closest safezone (the main safezone for newcomers is in the heart of the flock, but there are smaller ones with the priestesses for newcomers and then the guild areas for those settled in. ) and might not ever visit again, though they could be taken to her spa or office by a mare due to an injury or for a reward to be met again.


Needs others help

Kamunyak Unusually small for a fully grown mare, she's a mighty hunter and too stubborn and old fashioned to try and capture stallions through trickery, but on her own she can't catch them without causing possibly dangerous physical damage (slight cuts or pricks are seen as a sometimes unfortunate necessity, but causing massive scarring or possibly crippling a stallion is 'bad form' and can cause some serious penalties on the mare). So as it is, she has to work as a team to try and wrangle in runaways. Chances are if she's involved she might figure out a tool to help her capture stallions but she cant do it alone because without others around she'd end up letting him go cause Her brain would just go "DIG YOUR CLAWS IN LIKE A BUFFALO" but... Disemboweling a stallion who wasn't trying to kill members of the herd or wasnt a skinwalker isn't exactly something ANYONE wants, especially not Kamunyak.


Yaotl Messanger and scout.... And a Harpy Eagle Familiar rather than a Hippogryph. She's got some strong loyalty to the flock and is more than willing to scare stallions into mares for capture or to help round them up. Having a massive Harpy Eagle coming for your face with their claws will quickly turn around MOST soquili.

Taarab Artisan, Accessory and Weapons maker, Brewer... And Stallion. Taarab often has guards who take him near the boarders, and is more than willing to capture other stallions for their own good if one comes in. It's extremely rare for stallions to capture other stallions, but since some stallions are Guards for the Safezones some have been known to capture runaways its not unheard of... And After the whole Skinwalker instance got Taarab sort of messed up, he went through/is going through physical therapy and got himself a LITTLE Guard Training so should something happen to put the flock, especially younger members of it, in danger, he's capable of dealing with it. He's sort of a capture and question sort but since mares are pretty much RIGHT THERE when he's in a position to do such a thing its not like he can let them go. Though he might also end up just waving Gainesh down because "hey, I don't think I've met you before, where's your guard?" Before getting alerted to the fact that Gainesh is an uninitiated outsider/possible intruder rather than an initiated (He'd know he wasn't Flockborn because he helps with arts and crafts with the kids once a month so he would have seen a young owl-like foal.)


People with ponies that can capture that I Know are at least semi Active

Nyx, Techabyte, DarkenWoodWolf, one over three ... I THINK CitrusCupcake... Faithofthefallen currently lacks anyone but should be getting a mare eventually (I bought a breeding with her boy and Vaniania)

Hmmm maybe Taarab and Aylin? He'd definitely can be talked into joining the flight and seeing Taarab healthy and happy could convince that much quicker. If Taarab stumbled upon a slumbering Gainesh and told him about a place that offered daytime protection, I doubt he'd have any disagreement with that! Also, this way Aylin can drop him off in the safezone afterwords. I'm thinking Gainesh could make a pretty good sparring stallion when he isn't lazing around the safezone, since he's quite large and has learned how to defend himself in the wild.
