	Has anyone watched this show ? I find it very amusing, especially since I currently have no pet at the moment. So far, the Birman and Japanese Bobtail have caught my eye. What are your favorite breed(s) of cat ?

	abyssinians and sphynxs are my favorite cat breeds. thats right, i like the bald kitties. there is something about hairless mammals thats just amazing and adorable whee

	Awww, I love cat shows on Animal Planet. So far, the only one I was able to watch is the countdown on the deadliest cats. I was pretty surprised that house cats are #1 (because they kill for pleasure and not mainly for food, and they hunt way more species than their feline cousins). I'ma be more conventional and say that I love long-haired, cobby cats. Not the Persian so much, though. Their flat faces and nonexistent noses look weird. But Persians bred to have a nose are beautiful. And cats with masks are gorgeous, too. Like some Birmans and Himalayans. Oh yeah, I just realized the other day that at the bottom of cat Wikipedia entries are links to a variety of cat entries, including a decent list of cat breeds. is typing around Mittens, who decided to comfortably roost in front of the keyboard

	Abyssinians and Tonkinese are my favorite (I don't think Tonks have been on Cats 101 yet, but the Burmese has, very similar) I have a Tonkinese named Neko. He's my greatest joy, and my 'fur' child.

	I really adore Scottish Folds, Siamese, Russian Blues, Burmese and Tabbys. I love the show. I feel that it discourages the fickle people who're more likely to send their pets to the animal shelter for not being more aware that yeah, buying one is the same as adopting a child. If you're not up to the challenge and are not equipped for it, it's best not to get one.
