If you could make or take away a law in Saiunkoku...

What would it be and why?

I would get rid of the multiple birth killings. I read that in Saiunkoku multiple births is considered bad luck so it is okay to kill the babies.
Yeah that has to go! Since Saiunkoku is set during the time before protection was introduced it is not fair! So that has to go.

Also I would like to pass a law reguarding marriage. The only reason Ryuuki can't wait for Shuurei like he wants to is because it is his duty to get married. Even if it is for political reasons! That has to go! Besides if Ryuuki was to die would would take his place? If women don't rights then what good would his wife be?

So what would you pass or get rid of?

I would really make one where someone who had a job like Shuurei's dad did would earn enough to uphold their status. (Not retain a title and live in poverty.)
