(No worries Fallen! Life and family comes first. 3nodding Sorry to hear about your mother, I hope she gets better soon!)

"Is it too much to ask for a day's peace around here?" Roxanne muttered under her breath, crushing the soulgem she held and releasing the hulking grey-green wall of demonic flesh that was her felguard, Haaroon. Although still wounded from his bout earlier today, his time in the abyss had done wonders for him with all his minor wounds having closed and the bite to his neck having been reduced to just a lump of scar tissue. ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RM8o877_Gbc ) "Stop that thing! Protect the carriage!" She commanded upon Haaroon completing his manifestation. Lurching into action, the felguard intercepted the charing troll and lashed out with his sickly green-black metal greataxe.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Damn right I am..." Vor'dra growls back, puffing up her chest and glaring down at the god-figure now shorter thanks to posing as Roxanne. Despite loathing the woman who summoned her and claimed her as one of her minions, Vor'dra had to admit... the woman had a great body. "What those foolish mortals do is of little concern to me, I am merely along for the ride. Although I must thank you for the magic of your so-called relics disrupting the spell that bound me to my mistress..."

(Apologies for the lack of interaction. Work has been a pretty constant drain lately. I wouldn't have even known about the interactions with the troll if Mischievous hadn't informed me)

As the felguard intercepted the troll, there was another low, gutteral rumble that seemed to bubble up beneath the surface of the water. A gleam pierced the murky depths, punctuated by a loud, shrieking roar as a quadrupedal dragon burst from the water's surface. Although feral with no one to call an ally, it was clear from the direction that it's slitted irises pointed that it's focus lay squarely upon the troll. Sparks lit up from the stones as the dragon flexed it's claws and rushed at the monster with a frightening speed that seemed to rival even the legendary Pegasus.

(And leaving it vague so I don't end up god-modding the fight)

((Sorry for the wait everyone. I'm back and posting again now, so I hope I haven't held this up too long. Also I hope your mum feels better soon, Fallen and that things get better for everyone in general.))

"Mm...thank you" Teasel mumbled and moaned softly as Roxanne kindly put a pillow behind his sore head. He started to relax a little, although he felt exposed and very vulnerable lying on the floor, as well as a bit ridiculous. He looked like a princess lying there in his pretty robes and wings splayed, with one wrist pressed lightly to his forehead.

His expression turned into a sullen pout when he heard the words Roxanne and X'el were saying, upset at being called 'it', like some inanimate object or creature, and more than a bit troubled by all the assumptions they were making. "I do have a backbone, and I'm not squishy!" he protested weakly. "Um...n-nothing like guards or monsters were chasing me" he spoke up softly. "A-and if it were animated waste, I'd just, fly away or something" he made a face of disgust. Animated sewage, how terribly gross. How germy.

"N-no....not guards" he took a shuddering breath...."No weapons formed against them work. No magic. They can use our magic but it only aids them, makes them stronger. I...they're terrible and they h-ha-ve -" he was cut off by a horrible roar from the troll that just crashed its way into the cavern, making him flinch in shock.

Terrified, he rolled onto his front and attempted to crawl down the hallway of the carriage house, which was difficult as the long robe sleeves and skirt of his dress kept getting in his way, plus his hair fell across his eyes. Plus he still had a concussion, which made him dizzier than ever.

His vision of course blurred, and he collapsed somewhere halfway down the hallway, hearing demonic roars (Haaroon's), and dragon screeches (Narranj'o's), outside. Whatever the heck was happening out there, he wanted no part of it. He huddled against the wall, shaking, trying to take deep breaths to calm down. He'd try to help using illusion magic (dazzling lights to blind the troll, or making it look as though the floor disappeared into an chasm were some ideas), but he was understandably drained from his many days of flight and hardships so for now he was pretty much useless.

Great.

((Fallen: Yeesh! I'm very sorry to hear about that, and I agree with Viper; your life and family come before any of this. Don't stress over us!
&
Art: I thought that somewhere along the way we had discussed Narranj'o and his other form so that you never had to worry about being in "god mode." Something about maybe his other form being smaller seems familiar, like a drake or the like; still a fearsome combatant, but nowhere near the size and power of a full-blown dragon. Maybe of the aquatic variety since Narranj'o is a sahuagin, and about the size of a large bear like a Druid's animal shape ability? I can't really remember! That's probably the best way to proceed, either way. I'll post with that in mind, but we can edit it later if you want.
&
MF: Obviously, we have all been a little preoccupied with other things! I had already been expecting the Holidays to be slow-ish, so we'll just keep pressing forward as we can! Hakuna matata!))

((Also, for anyone interested, I came across this awesome picture of a troll that's similar to the look and size of the one your are facing, it's just "flavored" a bit differently: https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/564x/fd/91/25/fd91254deb312029f11f12125cc3eb1d.jpg You guys are fighting a very old lake troll, of course. So there are some aesthetic differences from that picture, but still.))

The drow cursed herself under her breath and sprang into action even before the hulking demon had appeared at Roxanne's command. She was running and crouched low, rounding the far side of the stream just as it's surface broke to reveal a draconic beast charging toward the troll. She flinched at its sudden appearance for split second, then rerouted herself so that she was following in its wake.
The foe before them was daunting indeed, but X'el had a nasty surprise in store that might even their odds.

"Oh, the relics be not of my making. They have far more purpose than I care for, when all become one. Though knowledge of such things has been long lost to this world, and so we find ourselves in this rather intriguing situation. One you seem more than eager to further...but again, are you worthy to do so? What could you possibly do that benefits me, in exchange? How can you truly do anything, bound to do another's bidding as you are?" the thing wearing Roxanne's face paused thoughtfully, and then a glimmer passed across the inky pools of its eyes. "Ah. Yes, that is the question. Isn't it? And the unfortunate answer: You are little more than a puppet, your strings in the hands of someone else. Someone more powerful than you, perhaps. However, if you were to somehow alter that little detail..."
A dark grin passed across the Roxanne-thing's face. It waved a hand through the air and was suddenly clutching a simple blade in its hand. The blade glimmered with a light that had no apparent source, and then the thing slowly drew it across it's own throat. Blood splattered out of the gaping wound, painting Vor'dras face and ample bosom a color just a shade darker than her skin. Burbling laughter erupted from all around them, and the form of Roxanne began to convulse and cough up further gore. All light began to vanish again as the laughter reached a crescendo...
And then Vor'dra again found herself laying in Cassius's bed, as pregnant as ever. She heard a whisper at her ear, though there was no body to give it form. Still, it was unmistakably the sinister creature from her vision.
"Return to me when your will is your own, demon whore."
Then without warning, the entire bedroom was shaken by a violent tremor. Several piles of curiosities toppled in the aftermath. Cassius was still across the room, now laying amid one such pile, unconscious.

The Harhoon and Narranj'o met with the troll just as it exited the tunnel and entered the cavern proper. Their combined rush was enough to stop the troll's advance...but only just. The monster towered over even the demon bruiser, standing nearly twice as tall when it raised out of its crouch.
It immediately snatched one of the felguards arms and lifted it a bit shy of the ground, taking a bite through the flesh and bone of the limb with a wet crunch. The taste was bitter and filled the troll's nostrils with the smell of brimstone. It groaned, recoiled, and threw the demon across the chamber into the side of the carriage. The enchanted homestead rocked hard on its axels from the impact, but seemed otherwise undamaged.
As the drake was near beginning its own attack, the troll glanced down at it.
"Fishy..." it said in a booming, guttural voice. "Fishy be much tastier!"
It reached down and grabbed the draconic creature around its back, hefting it up off the ground. The troll's mouth opened up to take in the creature's head for a fatal chomp...and then X'el swung herself up onto the back of the troll's hand from beneath the drake, where she'd rolled and grabbed on as it was taken from the ground.
She drew out a sleek crossbow made of dark wood and polished steel, kneeling down to steady herself. With a single pull of the trigger, three darts with phials of viscous-looking fluid attached shot out and found purchase inside the troll's open maw. They shattered on contact, spewing forth small clouds of noxious gas. The troll started to hack on the thick fumes and dropped Narranj'o to grab at its throat. X'el hopped off with him, retuning the crossbow to its holster on her thigh.
She placed a hand on the haunch of the drake as if to give it pause, all the while watching the troll. "Drow poison, and concentrated doses at that. Should put the beast to sleep within moments."

(I can get behind those specs for Narranj'o's Drake Forme)

The feral beast halted all movement when the pregnant drow pat it's haunch, before it started growling at the drowsy troll. It's claws flexed as the dread beast started to drop, and in a flash of quicksilver, his own jaws clamped shut around the troll's neck, drawing blood as his scrabbling claws began to rend the flesh beneath them.

Teasel just stayed safe inside the carriage house. He couldn't really do much in his state. Unless he wanted to get in the way, or get killed, neither of which seemed appealing.

The house shook and rattled from whatever was happening outside and he hoped it would hold up against it. He slowly managed to crawl upstairs to an unused, empty room and saw that it had a large and comfortable looking bed. Almost too big for one person. Until he remembered that some of the women were hugely pregnant and then it made sense.

Teasel climbed up into it and curled up, his wings folded behind him. He looked around the room for any windows and wondered what he would see outside. Thankfully, he knew, it wasn't the things that had been chasing him. He couldn't really recall what they looked like. But at least for now, he should be safe. He closed his eyes and puffed a soft sigh before quickly falling asleep.

(Ewww... Icky troll is icky looking...)

"Hells consume you, you damned spirit! I almost had him!" Vor'dra yelled, her curses focused at nothing more than the room's ceiling. While the god-figures words held an edge of truth, it was far from solid. What started as a simple disruption thanks to the idol's chaotic magic had evolved to full interference the larger and larger they became. As such it was reasonable to believe, the more pregnant Roxanne (or herself) became, the weaker and weaker the warlock's control over her. While Roxanne had ample magic as her disposal and was limiting herself, Vor'dra had very little and wanted more.

With a huff of effort, the pregnant succubus pushed herself off the bed and upright. Waddling over to Cassius' prone body, she wrapped her hands about one of his wrists and began dragging him across the room towards the bed, his body carving a wake through the litter of knick-knacks. After some huffing and puffing, Vor'dra managed to rag-doll Cassius' body up onto the bed. Positioning herself by his side, it was a simple matter to tip the wild mage sideways slightly and allow his head to rest atop the shelf of her belly and between her breasts. "Sooner or later, you will be mine..." She muttered, kissing his head and burrowing her mind-charm ever deeper into Cassius' brain, his arms slowly embracing her pregnant form in a loving hug.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Confident whatever poison the drow has just shot down the troll's throat to be fatal, Roxanne rushed to her fel guard's side, her pregnant middle jiggling violently as she pushed herself into a light but very pregnant jog. Despite Harroon's arm hanging limp and spurting emerald green blood from holes opened by the bite, the demonic guardian had pushed itself into a kneeling position as Roxanne reached it. "Yafr puwzryww tappilvw haf za tyiwy." She said in the tongue of demons, holding out a hand to stop him. (Roughly translated from D&D infernal that should say 'Your mistress commands you to cease') As he stopped, she fished into her satchel and pulled out the two remaining pieces of healthstone and crushed them, directing their healing energies towards her injured bodyguard. After a couple seconds the outward blood flow ceased and ligaments repaired themselves. Within moments, the fel guard was flexing his hand normally and showed no signs of injury minus the regrown flesh having a slightly different grey-green tone.

Teasel's subconscious made him dream. He was soon deep into the deepest stages of REM sleep, and actively dreaming. Dark wings and feathers unfolded in his dreams, sounds of wicked laughter, images of fairies being sucked of all their magic, their very life force, until they were drained and dead, turned to glitter dust and drifted away on the wind.

Teasel made soft sounds of distress. The images kept playing. He couldn't escape his brain's subconscious memories. Dripping black blood, screams, evil voices and haunting melodies assaulted him. He tried to run away, but to his horror, he found he was stuck in a dimension with a never ending series of stairs and rooms and hallways. Like an M C Escher drawing, they all interconnected, confused the eye and senses, and led nowhere but to more.

He tried to fly, and was able to fly away from the maze of black marble. Only to fly into a netted trap of evil spirits that pounced on him and tried to do disgusting things to his innocent body. He tossed and turned on the big comfy bed, talking in his sleep. "Mm.,,no no, no please.. .get off me!"

((Hey, guys! Sorry about yet another delay; been dealing with my wisdom teeth deciding to declare war on my whole face. Couple that with no dental insurance to help fix the issue, and that adds up to a miserable MM! I promise I've been trying to write through the painkiller fuzz in my head. 3nodding ))

The stunned troll fell to its knees and shrieked as the drake attacked its throat. It's large size and thick neck muscles made slow work of the damage done, but pain is pain. Then it began to feel lightheaded and lethargic; poison. This meal was turning out to be more trouble that it was worth. The fight was all but lost, and if it didn't get away quickly then it was likely to lose its life as well. Panicked, the troll swatted at the draconic creature dangling from its neck, eyes darting around the cavern looking for an escape.
It saw that the large chamber opened up on the other side and continued into a deeper cavern. Pulling together as much energy as it could still muster the troll barreled forward, swinging its claws to clear the way and stumbling ever more as a fog descended over its senses. It didn't take long to reach the opening of the other tunnel, but by then the troll was seeing double and it shouldered into the wall. The stone floor drawing closer and closer to its face was the last thing it saw before it lost consciousness altogether.

X'el watched the troll make it's rather comical attempt at escape, a show she'd seen many times before with a myriad of foes. Drow poison wasn't exactly dangerous on its own, but it was always an entertaining experience to see the look on something's face when it realized it was losing control of its body. She noted the ferocity with which the drake continued its attack long after the troll had fallen. It could really make quite a mess of an enemy!
"I think the troll is well in hand, beast..." X'el said with a grin, sauntering toward the scene. "Perhaps we can restrain it and bend it to our purpose. A creature doesn't grow to be this large by being easy to take down under normal circumstances, and it did at least try to flee so it may not be as thick-skulled as its kin."

Cassius dreamed.
He knew it was a dream and not reality because he found himself seated on a beautiful snowy hillside at sunset, next to someone who was quite dead. She'd been murdered long ago. He'd killed her, in fact.
She was of an Amazonian build, nearly eight feet tall and wrapped in lean muscle. Her hair was the color of rich cocoa, and it cascaded down to the small of her back in various curls and braids interwoven with raven's feathers. The traditional furs and hides of the barbaric northern peoples made up the majority of her clothing, though large swaths of bronzed skin were left immodestly uncovered - also traditional of the barbaric northerners.
The woman turned her bright green eyes to Cassius and smiled, leaning back on her hands. This position only served to emphasize her prodigious bosom and, even more prodigious, the swell of her pregnancy. She was positively full of life, her belly easily big enough to fit two grown men in it. Well, normal human-sized men, anyway. On a woman of her people, carrying so large was far from unheard of.
A bump raised along the side of her swollen middle and quickly slid across to her navel before disappearing again, drawing a soft gasp and a wince from her. She shifted so one of her hands could cradle the spot. Cassius chuckled and placed his hand gently atop hers.
"Playful today, are they?" He asked, speaking fluently in a strange language.
"Always, when their Father is near." She responded in kind.
They stared into each other's eyes for a long moment. The woman leaned down and they kissed. When it broke, Cassius sighed before wrapping his arms around her belly and placing his cheek to it so that he could feel the subtle movements of the young within.
An especially sharp kick bounced his head enough for him to open his eyes. He found his field of vision dominated by dangerous curves of crimson flesh. Vor'dra was smiling down at him, although hers was more one of hunger than of love. It was a stark difference between the utter happiness of dream and the cold truth of reality, and it hurt worse than anything in recent memory. That could have also been the splitting headache, but Cassius's mind liked to romanticize things. And, concerning his mind...
"Hairy balls of the Gods, my head..." he muttered, leaning back into the bed and rubbing at his temples. "What did you do?!"

((Sorry to hear about the teeth. If you live near my area, I could point you to a place. Cost me $85 to get a bad tooth yanked and they don't require insurance. The downside is that the physicians have a bedside manner that stinks of a wet dog.))

Narranj'o looked over to the approaching drow after getting swatted off of his prey, growling ferally. But something in the back of the haze of primal instinct told him that the round figure awkwardly walking up to him was no threat. His body language relaxed a bit as he caught his breath through loud exhales of his nostrils, looking almost like a guard animal slightly on alert. He did give a little bit of a subconscious warning though, by slapping his tail hard against the ground. His eyes were focused on the woman approaching and he would not hesitate to defend himself if she brought him any harm.

(Welcome back MM! Sorry to hear about the wisdom teeth, hopefully they find themselves removed soon! I've been there and done that adventure. xD)

(I'm totally picturing part of the source of Teasel's nightmares being the godly visitor Cassius and Vor'dra got next door. xD Also you've sorta dragged your character off into a corner where nobody is atm MF.)

Roxanne makes an "Eww" face as X'el suggests the idea of keeping the troll for future combat. "If such a thing suits your fancy have at it, but its not gonna fit in the carriage." Roxanne answers, patting her felguard's shoulder and allowing him to resume towering over her protectively. "I believe our mission calls for a bit more subtlety than a troll is capable of. However feel free to release it in into the city proper, the chaos it could spread would be a welcome distraction."

"Cease and release Narranj'o!" Roxanne yelled in the language of dragons, assuming that to be one of the languages the street-rat spoke. "Friends here."

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Vor'dra laughs darkly. "I couldn't imagine trying to take the blame for that mess... that was all you and that friend in your head." Vor'dra replies, unmoved from her spot beside Cassius. "Hells... I could barely manage just dragging you onto the bed. You're not as light as you look..."

((Art: I suppose that all depends on where you live! I doubt we're anywhere near one another, but you never know!
&
Viper: Yeah, it's not so fun. But an experience, nonetheless!
&
MF: Just so you know in case you missed it, the bedrooms of the carriage will slowly evolve and adapt to fit the general living requirements of whoever currently occupies them. So, wherever Teasel is from, his room will actually look like that place! Or, y'know, whatever would make him most comfy.))

"My thoughts, exactly." X'el said, smiling wickedly at Roxanne.
The troll would mean little as an ally in the literal sense, but if they could somehow get it up to the streets of the lower tier of the city it would at least draw attention away from their infiltration of the higher ones.
"Perhaps not the easiest of tasks, but well worth the trouble." she added with a thoughtful pout to her lips. "Some sorcery will most certainly be required. Maybe a simple portal spell, although that would require a tether on both ends and thus someone to place them..."

Cassius shot Vor'dra a skeptical look.
"Right. I'm sure."
He laid there for a moment more and then rolled over into a sitting position on the other side of the bed. His head still throbbed with tremendous pain, but he knew that staying too close to the succubus wouldn't help his senses recover. Standing, he glanced at the gravid demon warily and then started for the door. He headed back downstairs, taking note that one of the previously empty rooms along the way was now occupied, and then followed the sound of voices outside.
There, laying prone across a large portion of the cavern, was a massive troll of the especially ugly variety. Even in all his travels, he'd never known one to grow so large. Granted, most trolls were hunted down and killed before they got too old, so that probably had something to do with it.
"That...is one big-a** troll." he muttered, somewhat awestruck as he fell in place next to Roxanne.

((Hi guys! I'm back. Sorry I went missing for months. I know that's bad and I'm trying to get back into things again.

By the way Viper, where is Roxanne's bag currently that has the artifacts? I want Teasel to have a little accident! X3))

Teasel awoke with a gasp and a start. Once he calmed down from the nightmares and looked at where he was, he realised it looked exactly like his old room back in the fairy forest. And that he felt completely healed and well again. His bed was a four poster with posts that looked like branches that reached up and tangled together to form an outline for all the leafy vines growing over them. All through the vines were dotted rainbows of flowers mixed with tiny fairy lights like you would see some people use in their room for decoration. The floor was covered in soft moss, clover and grass, along with patches of different flowers and rose bushes. There were colourful stained glass windows that let in soft light and the roof was carved with pictures of butterflies. On the ceiling were strung lanterns in pastel hues and round the walls and floor were glowing fungi and mushrooms. He also had a dresser with drawers, mirror and stool, a book case, a comfy wooden chair with a soft green cushion, and a wardrobe with pretty clothes inside. Butterflies fluttered around throughout. The whole place looked like a rainbow of flowers and softness, mixed with nature. Perfect for a nature spirit like him.

Teasel licked his rosy lips and decided to look for a drink. He tiptoed out of his room and looked around until he found the bathroom, then relieved himself, got a drink and freshened up before wandering out to the front door. The fairy sneaked outside and looked around. "Oh my. Is it all over? Is it safe to come out now?" he asked, brushing a long strand of hair out of his face. "Thank goodness that awful troll isn't still trying to kill people" He flew over to Roxanne and landed near her daintily. "Hi. I'm sorry. I just wanted to thank you for helping me earlier. I feel much better now and I'm sorry for just sleeping while you all fought for your lives. I was tired and I didn't want to get in the way. I know we don't know each other but would you mind if I travel with you folks from now on? I don't want to keep traveling alone around here"
