-_- No worries, D3... I'm giving up a sixteen year dream to be an animator to pursue Physical therapy or being a PA. I'm intelligent enough for medicine, I know I can do it and probably enjoy it (probably, particularly, the PT).. and, yeah.. it will never be on the decline.

Somewhere, somewhen, someone with medical training will be in demand.

Anyway, I have actively tried to improve my drawing since 2004 and although I've made progress I still have a long way to go Y^Y
Writing on the other hand, is something I've been doing much longer and if I may say it myself, I do have skill. Unfortunately, translating to English doesn't do wonders with the grammar...

I am 19 years old, have had two relationships giving both genders available a try but is somehow still virgin (wtf how do I get rig off this thing with my dignity intact NOW?).
I study Speech and Argumentation at uni, so I'm not always available. As if that wasn't enough, I live in Sweden so I most likely will be sleeping when most of gaia gets online. I miss out on all the fun discussions...

I am 18 and a sophomore in college studying Art Marketing. My passion is photography, but I love to draw. (I can't do digital since i just have a mouse and GIMP and it confuses the hell out of me. I would love to give someone a traditional drawing though.) I also love to act and I am proud to say that I was the leading actress in a play last semester.

The thing most people remember about me is that I have a lot of allergies (currently totaling at a whopping 90) and that I collect event/freebie items.

Oh, and i got invited from the Christmas thread.

Hey, working with a mouse isn't too bad. I got shaky hands, so using the mouse and the pen tool (or track tool - the thing with the anchors/nodes 'n stuff) actually improved my works from when I did traditional and tablet...
I've tried gimp, but I've been using paintshop (not photoshop) for so many years so I just couldn't get my head around it.

Hello everyone. biggrin I'm Ainian, but you can call me Ain or Aini. I'm no artist, unfortunately, but I do enjoy artwork. The only thing I do that could even come close to art is calligraphy (not Asian). >_>

I'm 21 (22 in March), and I'm working on becoming a Major in Music. Whether Education or Performance I'm not sure, but I think both would be fun. biggrin I write avidly, though most of my stuff is above the PG-13 level (in other words, I write smut) and it's all yaoi (m/m). sweatdrop Limited, aren't I?

I joined this guild because Twila referred me here. biggrin She joined my clan not too long ago and she's been fun to be around since. I'm really glad she's a member there. 4laugh

So, I just sent my request to join the guild, but though I haven't yet been accepted I figure now is as good a time as any to offer up a little information about myself.

My name is Kailan but you may call me pretty much whatever you like (just know that any crude or insulting names will likely be met with an equally unpleasant manner).

I am 22-years-old and while I don't draw or paint or the like I am still, by career choice, considered an artist. My art, however, lies in music. I am currently nearing the end of my first year of a Bachelor of Music degree. I major in voice and, more specifically, in opera. Yes, that's right folks, I want to be in opera.

I love everything artistic and creative and while music is my passion and my desire in ways of a career, English and writing a very close second. As such I am fairly fond of role playing, should the place be of certain personal standards.

Well, I suppose that's all I have to say for now. However, if anyone has any questions please feel free to grill me for answer, I love to chat with new people and get to know them and I'm more than happy to answer just about any questions. I'm pretty open and a firm believer that you shouldn't be afraid to ask a question due to possible implications. So please, if you want to ask me something just go ahead and ask, I promise the chances of you offending me are EXTREMELY marginal at best.

biggrin Welcome, Synth. Granted, the guild was opened with the intent of visual arts in mind, I'm excited to welcome someone with more audio oriented talents to the guild. ;3 I'd certainly be interested in hearing any of your works. Welcome, and sorry if I made you wait overly long.

Hehe, I guessed as much, but I figured it seemed like a pretty cool place to at least chat with other artistically inclined. I can be here for, er, moral support of those talented in the visual arts. XD

I am actually working on putting up some videos of performances I've done. Can't guarantee sound quality as these are essentially home video recordings (with crappy cameras) but it'll at least be an idea. I'll post up some links once I have them up (they take forever to load because they're all of one hour concerts but I only sing one song). I'll be sure to post up when I appear in the video as well so people don't have to watch the whole thing (though I encourage you to as I have MANY very talented classmates, also VERY good looking).

No worries about the wait, I'm a pretty patient person. ^_^ Or at least, I am on here (surprisingly). XD
