Welcome to the Gaian Record International, Gaia's largest newspaper. Each month, read about the issues that affect you as Gaians. While some articles will cover real news stories, there will be articles that cover events in Gaia, and other articles still that cover the evolution of the fortune cookie. We're all here to have fun.
Feel free to start topics regarding the paper, or pretty much anything else. Remember, this is a haven for the information literate, or the information literate-to-be. So feel free to discuss political issues, journalism, or anything else that is news related here.
As with any other forum, there are rules that must be followed.
1: All of the Gaia ToS apply here.
2: We ask that you try to maintain some grammatical decency. You need not write as I do in the paper, but at least put forth an effort to not include numbers in words where letters should be.
3: Flaming is against the ToS, but debating isn't. I have to moderate accordingly, but trust me, I have plenty of experience differentiating flaming from debating. Don't cross the line.
4: If you're interested in a position with the Gaian Record International, feel free to check out the appropriate sticky in the main forum for details.
Some things to know about the guild:
The paper is usually released around the 15th of the month as an announcement in the main forum. It will usually appear above this one. At the first of the following month, the paper is moved into the "Archives" subforum where it can continue to be read. Do not post in this subforum, please.
Also, if you have comments or questions about the paper, feel free to post them up in the special thread we have set aside for that. If you would like to start any kind of random discussion topic (please make it GD worthy at least, no chatterbox stuff), feel free to do so in the main forum. It does not have to be related to the paper or any of its articles/features.
