Possible New Rules, please read and vote!

I was thinking about some ways to make this guild more active and noticed some other guilds are more structured so I think it would be good to add some more rules. The other set of basic rules will not change. Heres my plan, and before this starts I will let the vice captains vote on it and get your ideas on it.
The idea.
Starting form every new member.
1.
We give them a week from when they joined to make one post, and we tell them that they have a week. After a week if they didn't post we will warn them and give them another week, if another baned until they join again and post.

2. A minimum 1 post per week rule.

In order for all this to work we will need all the vice captains to help enforce it, so please pm me with a yes or no vote!

I like this idea. I believe it would help to as you say make the guild more active, and it would keep the guild activity up. Keeping up with the status of the new members shouldn't be too hard, so it also wouldn't be that much trouble to add the new rules.

It may be a little difficult to enforce, but still, a good idea. Have you decided to use the rules or no?

Hmm, that could be difficult couldn't it... Well, it's not being enforced yet, It's still needing the captain's ok. Either way, you could probably just post in a designated thread saying you will be gone for however long you think it may be.

If I was the captain I would tell everyone that have never posted that they have a week to post and go from there, after all if they joined and haven't posted they only joined because of a contest or a friend. I know I don't post but I do read hear and there.

I agree that it might be difficult. I'm just now coming back online after 6 months with no internet(parents decided they didn't want the internet because it was "taking over our lives") long story short I now live with my grandfather and have my own internet. I'm moving on my own in 2015 so I might lose internet again.
