An audible gulp was heard when he realize just how much of a deep s**t he's in. Seeing the massive black fur wolf growled at him, it caused him to flinch and crawled back. Yet the wolf was stopped by the blonde haired man. Of course. He's one of them... can they change into human forms too? Did that kind of curious thought crossed his mind? No. All he keep repeating himself is the word, s**t, over and over. Fear was so overwhelming, he almost didn't hear the blonde haired man.

Frighten? ******** yea. Confused? Not really. He's simply not thinking. The fire grew bright for a moment as the word s**t became faster and louder in his mind when he realized that he's surrounded by.... well. Wolves. All menacing looking too! If he wasn't brought here to be killed.... then WHY was he brought here?! So they could have fun to see how scared he is? Swallowing hard, he glances towards the blonde haired man. "Um... C-can I leave?" He questions. The thought of being 'one of them' was scary enough. He had no idea that he's already one of them. The symptoms haven't set in yet... for some people it went in fast and for others, rather slow. It all depends on a person. When asking if he can leave, it's quite clear that he's not really thinking all of this in. Fear is a dangerous weapon after all.

"No." Lyall answered gruffly, petting Ginta's head with a massive hand. His gnarled fingers rubbed the massive wolf's ear as his golden stare burrowed into Daichi. Ginta was not a lycan, like Lyall or his sister, but a full-blooded wolf. A pure-bred dire-wolf: Ginta was a relic of a forgotten past. Huge and imposing; the beast was more powerful than any other land predator in this era. "You're already one of us." He growled, standing and stepping around the fire. "Stop pissing your pants for a second and listen. Smell. Feel the earth around you. You're more than you once were."

Lyall stepped back and walked between two of the wolves. They parted for him, despite being physically more imposing and much more dangerous in nature. Lyall walked up one of the nearby hills, in full view of the small camp, with the full moon rising behind him, would raise his lips, and howl a long, mournful song. Hopefully his sister would hear it and come.

One of them!? It's offical. Maybe Daichi drank too much. OH! Maybe someone put drugs in his drink, that's why he hallucinate that the man before him has changed into a massive wolf monster like being. And he's hallucinating all of this right now. Yea. That's right. The theory he thought of works the best only one problem. He didn't have anything to drink when he went to that place. Smell? Feel the Earth? Oddly enough, the man didn't take offensive when the blonde hair male told him to stop pissing his pants. Glancing down for a brief moment, he doesn't see a wet patch. Whew.

Lucky, his bladder is still empty because the howl that the male just let out has sent a huge chill down in his spine. Not too long after, there was a respond... faint. Distant. Far away... just how far though? Now it's the time for the awkward silence moment. Daichi is trying to figure out to how he can get out of this... yea right. There's wolves here, one huge one, and one.... who know who the hell he is... they could all take him down in a heart beat.

Daciana is not in a great mood. It was the mating season and the lycans she haven't seen for thousand and hundreds of years, trying to woo her. This pushes her from motherly and nurturing side into a far corner as the b***h side is out. A massive full black wolf appears at the cave, despite being Lyall's sister, she's the opposite in fur color. Her brother is golden, while she's pitch black as the night. Three other wolves ran with her is panting heavily. They were part of her pack, ones she's caring for and it's obvious, they were the omega of their previous pack, left to be beaten and die. Obvious by the way they acted around the other members of Lyall's pack, crouching down slightly and their nose close to the ground. Snarling angrily towards her brother, she couldn't believe him! Why did he turn him?! Transforming into a human, she glares right at him, "Lost your temper?" Sighing, her hues glances towards the human. "What will you do with him? Meanwhile, Daichi's jaw has dropped and his eyes widen. What the.... first this handsome man turned into... a nightmare, and now another nightmare approached but turned into a beautiful woman... He starts to recollect the events at the bar, trying to be sure if he didn't have a drink...

Lyall eyes do not mirror his sister's ferocity. She growled and postured like she was dominate. He would let her have that. He whistles softly and the wolves in his pack that had been baring fangs at here's immediately let their hackles fall. His own golden hues flicked to her as she shifted from one form to another: once more taking up her curvaceous human skin. "I've been in less than a happy mood." He sighs as he motions for her to follow him back to the fire. "But I'm glad you came." That would be about the only affection she might get from him tonight. "I could kill your suitors and we would both be a bit happier." He would offer nonchalantly as they strode back towards Daichi and the mixed pack. "Yes. I did." Lyall growls softly as his feral eyes flick back to the recently turned lycan. "Depends. He could join one of our packs. Or.." Lyall doesn't finish the sentence; the implication lying heavily in the air. There was only one other option. One that made the decision an ultimatum. Death. "..Though I don't think he wants to believe what is happening."

Daciana did forget. She completely forgot for a moment that this isn't a good time for Lyall either... so both would be ill-tempered around this time. Calming down a bit as her three wolves are huddled together, watching their backs for a bit. Daciana looks back at them and gives them a reassuring whine that they will be fine, but after being omega for so long, they barely trust another of their own. Daciana is working to show them how to stand up for themselves and they would get respect. Smiling at his suggestion when he mentions he could kill her suitors as she could too. Her bother is stronger than her, so that is possible.

"Tempting as that sounds... its best to leave them be. Their hearts are in a good place, it's just... everyone's brain is all scrambled at the time of this year." Daciana only had one mate because he was her only true love... but maybe after centuries, it's time for her to move on and hopefully her brother can follow. He needs peace. She wanted to say that maybe it's time for them to be a bit more open and find someone, but right now, both of their tempers is hanging on a thread, it wouldn't be wise. Glancing towards the male once again as she sighs. "Let's try get in touch with his human self then I suppose... but he reeks of fear. He will listen at nothing...." She tilts her head softly as she glances into Daichi's eyes. "Look at his eyes brother... his soul is angry and sad." Approaching Daichi, he flinched which caused her wolves to growl softly, they care about her well being, but with Lyall there, surely he wouldn't try anything...right?

Daicana then started to pat him down and search into his pockets. "W-w-whoa! H-hey! What are you- Lady! You both are hot and all but- That's- HEY!" He shouted at her when she yanked the picture out, the odd piccy with an odd looking tattoo, tilting her head, she glances at the picture and hands it to her brother in case he wanted to see it. "Give that back to me you b***h!" It's obvious that the picture is something very important since the fear has disappeared and replaced with anger. For some new lycans, they transform when they have enough anger and rage. Daichi fingers has balled up into fists.

Lyall stood behind his sister as she worked her fingers into the male's pocket giving a subtle nod to his substantial pack. Most of them received the message and the ones that did not were nipped and shoved until they did. He had just told them to clear out. Daciana's pack and Ginta, the largest and strongest of Lyall's, were all that were to remain. Ginta, the wolf, slowly and silently padded over to his friend's and alpha's side where he sat down with a noticeable thump. He crossed his arms and narrowed his eyes at Daichi as a low rumble emanated from him and travelled through the ground. He reaches out and snatches the small picture handed to him by Daciana between his thumb and forefinger, bringing it up to his face to look at it in the dusky conditions. "What makes this so special?" He asks gruffly between sharp, ivory fangs. His thumb krinkles the edge of the photograph as he holds it high above both of their heads. Strong gusts of wind threaten to sweep the flimsy scrap away if not for Lyall's impressive grip.

The three wolves lay against the wall and snuggling up to each other for comfort, as they watch Daciana closely. Daciana notices the increased rage when she snatch the picture away... maybe anger will help him. Humans who become lycans... she has observed them for awhile. All of them react differently, but she wonders if he's one of those that will admit that he's now one of them when they take care of something that is angering them, poisoning their soul. "None of your damn business!" Daichi shouted towards Lyall. Daciana never likes to be shouted at. Taking the picture away form Lyall gently, she's going to get the boy spill, one way or another. Squatting down near the fire, she hovers the picture on top of it. Daichi froze. "Anger is holding you back. Recollect whatever it is and let it consume you for now. That's the only way you can be free." Dropping the picture into the fire, everything happened quickly but to Daciana, Lyall, and his best friend Ginta, it would seem a normal speed to them.

A howl of anger and agony could be heard. Daichi is hunching over. Daciana winces softly when his bones started to change, making painful noises. First time it is for him to transform... and maybe the most painful experience for a new born lycan. Standing up, she stands by her brother as Daichi started to sprout fur and grow a muzzle. Placing her hand on his arm gently, "Let him be.... why don't you follow him dear brother? Make sure it won't be too out of hand, but you saw how quick he reacted... that's a lot of anger. Let him seek out what he wants and in the end, hopefully, everything will turn well." By the time she finished talking to her brother, Daichi is now a wolf. His fur has mixture of blonde, gray, and white. He's mostly white at the lower half of his body. Panting, Daichi doesn't even acknowledge who is with him anymore. He has one goal. To find that person. Now combining with the beast in his mind, he has an idea how to start. Soon, he starts to take off out of the cave, if Lyall lets him.

"Smaller than most.." Lyall murmured to himself as he stepped out of the way, guided by his sister's hand, and let the new lycan pass. "Lets see where he goes." The great, gold wolf muses aloud as he slowly picks up speed and begins to run after the other werewolf. Vaulting over a log: Lyall shifts into his dire form in mid-air and continues his stride on all fours, continuing to pick up momentous speed. His predatory eyes never leave the back of Daichi's loping form as he tails him expertly. Soft wisps of breath escape between Lyall's jaws as he trots behind in the cold, winter night. His fur shimmers every time it catches the moonlight: wavering light fields of golden wheat in the wake of his sprint. Tremors thunder through his paws as they collide with the rough soil: pounding the earth flat and propelling him forward.

Chiki says nothing else as she has a bad feeling for some reason. Glancing towards Siriusa, she could tell that Siriusa is seriously nervous, something isn't right for her either. Deciding not to say anything, she does not wish to worry the child. Chiki keeps herself very close to the child. "Yuri, don't mind Siriusa sudden cold attitude. She really cares and is worried about us, she just doesn't know how to show it properly." Getting a very cold glare from Siriusa, Chiki simply smiles warmly as her arm reaches up and rests on Sol's shoulder, prepared to protect him from whatever may come.

If looks could kill, Chiki would've died a very long time ago. How could she say that to Yuri? Though, unknown to Siriusa, what Chiki said is very true. Siriusa is worried that something will happen and one of them will get hurt. She puts up a very cold and icy attitude to protect herself even sometimes hurting other feelings unwillingly or willingly. Siriusa doesn't have the time to determine which is which. Keeping her icy blue hues on the bonded men, she makes sure that the men is a safe distance from Chiki and Sol as well herself so they won't run away nor harm the two people that is leading the way. Her eyes and mind uneasy, she sense that something is not right and it's tethering her to the edge.

Sol sighs as they pass through the ruined wood. The forest itself has been severely damaged, with a few patches of trees still standing. Some of those were barren and scorched. As he carefully carries the kitten with him, he looks around. A shadow flits in the waning light, causing him to glance with just his eyes in that direction. The boy takes his rucksack off of his back and places the kitten inside of it, then puts it back on. "You'll be safer in there, kitty." The young avatar leaps over a fallen scorched log and wobbles slightly as he rebalances himself on a large boulder. He narrows his eyes as he looks around for a second and then hops down. "This way," he waves to his companions. The lad skitters over a patch of pebbles and debris, but otherwise is doing alright over this rough terrain. "Poor forest .... It must have hurt bad ... being damaged this way ..." he mutters as he rubs the sooty bark of a tree that somehow survived the fire. "Good thing forests know how to grow back." The shadow flits once more, causing him to turn his head in that direction briefly. Wandering over to where the shadow was, he sees nothing at first, but then sees a package. He cautiously picks it up and looks at the tag. "Ooh~" Cheerfully he starts to open it, making Yuri flip out. He looks over his shoulder and replies, "Relax. I know the handwriting. It's a gift." He unwraps it and grins at the box of shiny spirit tempered knives. "Coooool."

Yuri pretty much drops the two bound poachers as he freaks out at Sol picking up a random package in the forest. The flitting shadow has not missed his attention. As the boy darts off from their sides and picks up the package, he sweat drops and attempts to get the boy to reconsider opening a strange package. "Hey! Are you sure that's so smart? What if it's a trap!?" The boy's casual dismissal of his concerns are not quite reassuring. However the items in the box, while not booby trapped, do not calm him down. "Who the hell gives knives to a child?" he frowns. As he is distracted by the child, there is a quick whisking noise and a gurgle noise from the two poachers. The amnesiac quincy whirls around and sees that there are a pair of throwing knives are sticking out of their throats. A shadow sits in the tree, appearing to wait for something. As soon as the souls of the two men emerge from their bodies, they are quickly dispatched by a Kyoketsu Shoge that darts to and from and the two souls, causing a hell gate to open and a Kushanāda pulls them in, then snaps the gates shut. This causes him to slack jaw for a second and raise up his bow in self defense. "What the ...?"

The shadow has vanished by this point from the tree and is now near the boy. It finally speaks, "Thank you for protecting my son, boy. I thought that you would never get out of my way so that I could dispatch those vermin from this planet." A handsome young appearing man steps from the shadows and places his hand on the head of the child. "I trust my boy was not a problem for you three. He has a good heart, but he is known for his mischief. My name is Hyoujin." The ninja smirks and pats the boy on his shoulder. "Sorry your birthday present is late. Duty being what it is, well, you understand." The boy's own grin is not perturbed and he nods in reply. "I take it that you all are on your way to meet my wife? That is good. She is a sweet woman and a wonderful cook. You probably will not leave hungry unless by your own choice."

Chiki has the same thought as Siriusa, but after all, once again, Chiki is a really nice person. It's not like her to turn anyone down and she wouldn't mind meeting some new people. Not to mention, it would be interesting for her to see that household. If the mother is quincy and the father is an obvious shinobi, she wonders how that marriage really works out. While Chiki thought about being with another shinobi would be easier, maybe she could be wrong. Hearing Siriusa and watching her leave, Chiki smiles sweetly. "Be careful Siriusa! Nice to meet you Hyoujin, I'm Chiki, I would love to meet your wife." Chiki has full confidence that Siriusa will be okay by herself, she is one tough quincy.

Siriusa couldn't believe what just occured. So many emotions is running through her, but there is one that is most obvious: anger. First, the young boy, despite his good intentions to be a good kid decided to open a package. While he may recognize the handwriting, a smart evil person would mimic someone's handwriting or even leave a mimic print to fool someone. He could've put himself in danger but he's only lucky for the time being. Second, the two man were killed and their souls were sent to damnation, in a way. The man appeared and was apparently the young boy's son. Siriusa eyes narrowed as she wonders if he didn't teach his son enough. Don't open gifts even though it could be mimic. A person is the hardest thing to mimic opposed to handwriting or reiatsu print. Yet, Siriusa said nothing. Her cold and cruel tongue remains in her mouth. She has no intention in staying at the man's house. She knows sooner or later, she would snap at him, and it's best to avoid situations at all. "No thank you. I am going home. Her voice sounds restricted as if she's pulling something back. Turning, Siriusa is leaving to go home alone since it seems that Chiki was too nice to say no.

Although Hyoujin can seem a bit cruel while still maintaining a friendly demeanor, he was simply doing his job. And it didn't hurt that they had threatened his son. He pats his son's back and says quietly, "Next time make sure it is actually me. Rule number one of being a ninja is always assume somebody has something up their sleeve." The ninja does not seem so bothered by the woman deciding to leave. It is her call, after all, and he does not wish to force her to come along. "If that is what you like, miss. Just be careful out there. There's rumor of a monster hollow in the wastes of Karakura Town. So far he has been quiet the past several months, but he's dangerous. During the war he wiped out half of the other hollows and half of the shinigami. I do not know how the quincy or shinobi were affected, but I have not gotten that intel yet. I will ask my wife if she has heard anything." The ninja ruffles his son's hair and then looks over at Chiki. "Miss, you are quite a lovely young woman. I wish my son were older, or I'd suggest that you two could see each other. Ha ha. Any case, please, I'd love to get moving along. This place must be causing him great pain, even if he isn't showing it." He walks over to the corpses and retrieves his weapons, sighing, "You dumb asses ... You just had to lead evil lives. You could have gone to the Soul Society at least ... What a waste of flesh." With that, he turns around and heads in the direction of his wife's home as he cleans off the kunai. "Come on. I'll carry you if you like, Sol."

Sol gives him a sheepish look when his father chides him about opening the box without checking if it was a trap. He is tired but shakes his head no for being carried. "I'm gonna be a man soon. I'll walk." The lad tucks the box under his arm and sighs as he looks at the ruined landscape once more. "Why are humans so villainous at times?" he asks nobody in particular. As they walk through the scorched land, he notices a small plant sprouting in the ashen soil and smiles at it weakly. "At least something is growing here." His father is right about him being in pain from being here, but he refuses to acknowledge it. So determined he is to prove himself as nearly a man that he would refuse to show it. This is not from any social pressure of any form, nor conditioning from training. It is from seeing a manly man like his father take a sword to the torso and still manage to dispatch an arrancar without more than a cruel grin and a cool guy wink at his son. Though he was plenty pitiful enough when it came time to be treated by his wife for the injuries. This is the man he desires to emulate. A strong man who refuses to be intimidated, who is not afraid of death since he knows what is on the other side. His daddy, his hero.

Yuri shakes his head at all that is going on. The deaths of the two wicked men echoed something familiar to him, but he doesn't speak of it yet. A grimace is on his face as he watches the gates slam shut and then again when he hears Hyoujin's cryptic commentary. "Waste of flesh?" he echoes softly. This wasn't the words of a normal shinobi. No. He is certain of that. "Strange way of phrasing it ... but I can't argue with the logic." he mutters to Chiki. "Does this mean they chose this path? That the afterlife is multiple choice or something? This sounds right, but it's giving me a headache." Despite his feelings, he follows the man and his boy through the mostly destroyed woods. "I wonder why it causes him to hurt? He is wearing shoes after all."

Hearing the father warning Siriusa about the dangers that lurks out there, Siriusa know more than Chiki about the evil that do hide here in Earth. It frightens Chiki and sometimes she is surprised that Siriusa is quite alright despite how much evil she had seen and went through. Hearing the father compliment, Chiki laughs gently before ruffling the son's hair, "I wouldn't worry too much about him finding a lady when he gets older. He's a sweet gentleman." She reassures the father with a warm smile. However, Chiki noticed slightly that something is up with Sol. His shoulders trying to stand firm but slightly slump and the change of breathing. Hearing Yuri, Chiki glances towards him for a moment as she wonders how to answer him. "It's...complicated. I do not know how to explain because even I don't understand it fully. In my opinion, the afterlife is how we die. I've seen some people who should be saints die in horrible way that they became hollows instead of shinigami because their feelings was fully negative. Whether it be revenge, sadness, hatred... the list is long. Some don't even become hollow or shinigami, if they are strong enough, they could use reincarnation instead. That's what happened to Siriusa's grandfather, since he hated hollows and shinigamis with a passion." Walking along side with Yuri and behind the father and son, Chiki hears Yuri's question about Sol's pain. "I think it's something else and not the feet" Chiki gives him a wide and reassuring smile, "Why don't you ask Sol?"

PostPosted: Thu Sep 05, 2013 3:10 am
Yuri nods to Chiki's solution, believing it to be the best idea. The lively boy does seem to be feeling off now that he looks at him. "So ... um, Sol, right? What's the matter? You sick?" The boy's denial is short lived as he watches his father lift the lad up onto his back and carries him the rest of the way. Hyoujin's explanation to them is equally startling. Though not too strange considering what all he has been through in the past several hours. "A nature avatar?" he mutters with curiosity and confusion. That isn't terribly hard to do to Yuri right now considering his amnesiac state. Looking around him at the ruined landscape, he ponders if his situation was caused by the same people who did this destruction. Surely a natural fire wouldn't have made the young avatar sick like this. At least that is the conclusion he has come to at this time. As they arrive into some untouched woods, he takes in an appreciative breath of clean ash free air. The pause is brief and Hyoujin leads them into a hidden pathway towards a village in the trees. "Hey, I could get to like a place like this. Nice."

Sol smiles about her compliment, but doesn't really say much about it. He's feeling a bit bashful about her compliment, and his father's awkward attempt to match make him. That was how he viewed it, anyway. He is indeed trying to hide his pain and so simply continues to smile and pretend to be strong. All the while he hopes that they will be out of the area sooner rather than later. "I'm ok ..." he says softly as they continue on. When Yuri asks him about his condition, he gives the two a weak grin and shakes his head. "It's nothing ... I ... am fine." The lad then yelps with surprise as his father lifts him up and puts him on his back. He sighs and allows himself to slump against his father's back as he carries him piggyback style. "Oh ... alright .... Why did they do this to this place?" There is a little tear in the boy's eye as he turns his face away into his father's hair so that he doesn't have to look at the ruin.

"The hell you are, boy," Hyoujin says firmly with concern in his voice. He could see the boy was about to go down harder than a forge hammer in Elnino's hands on a hollow's skull. The ninja sighs and answers for them. "My son, you see, is a nature avatar. Being in this ruined forest is causing him a great deal of harm. I really am surprised he didn't try to find a shorter way home, but then again with it being so remote, there really are only a limited number of paths. If I had known about all of this, I would have broken away from my duties, my pipsqueak captain could piss herself for all I care, and I would have come to him sooner to fetch him from his cousins' place in Itemura. At least as this place heals, he will begin to feel better." As they talk, and he helps them pick their way through the easiest path possible, he keeps his eyes open for anything that could help the boy or get them to some patch of healthier woods. Sure enough, the whole forest was not destroyed, but rather a large swath of it. Once they get inside of the forest, he lays the boy on a patch of fallen leaves and pours fresh clean water down his throat and onto his face. When the boy has had enough to drink, he puts the canteen away and pets the boy's hair. "Look, healthier forest. It wasn't the whole forest, so brighten up. Ok?" He smiles when the child gives him the thumbs up sign and helps him back up onto his back. "Ok, we are almost to Star's village. If you guys are ready, let's go ahead inside. The village guards shouldn't take too much issue with visitors since you are with us." The pathway towards the village looks like one of those places in the woods that seems to transport you to another world. Kind of like one of those movies, but minus the creep factor once they get inside.
