~*Who We Are
The Barton Army is the greatest military guild out there and the proud protecters of Barton, pledged soley to defending Her and Her people. Founded during the Summer Olympics of 2007, the Barton Army is the largest and oldest Barton-loyal guild on Gaia and is always seeking for new ways to protect Barton and to make it a better place.
~*What We Do
We fight to serve and protect Barton in times of war and crisis. When the enemy strikes, the Barton Army is the first to answer the call, ready to deploy at a moment's notice to fight for our beloved homeland of Barton.
~*What The Guild Is About
Essentially, in a non-roleplay, IRL definition, we're basically people who love Barton so much we're willing to kick your teeth in if you insult it. Then again, most of our members are willing to kick your teeth in for pretty much anything including criticizing them on their choice of soft drink at McDonald's.
But this guild is about Barton, for members of Gaia who either simply prefer it to other Towns or are sick of the other members of Gaia who say 'dUrem is pwns lol u othre t0wns sux monkey c***' and want to join a group who fight hard to defend the sanctity of sanity, sportsmanship, and everything else simply Bartonian.

~*Joining the Army
Currently, the Barton Army wishes to invite more people into its community. To apply, please complete the following application:
Please answer the following questions as literately as possible:
1) Why do you want to join the Barton Army?
2) Are you now or have you ever been a member of Team Barton during the Summer events?
3) Are you now or have you ever been a member of any other team during the Summer events?
4) Do you hereby swear your allegiance to Barton and only Barton and to protect and serve it during times of crisis?
5) Have you ever been a member of any other paramilitary/military-esque guild? (If no, disregard the following sub-questions)
5a) If so, what guild?
5b) Did you ever leave that guild, and if so, what is your reason for leaving?
5c) What rank did you hold in that guild?
5d) If a crisis arises, do you swear to fight in Barton's interest and not in the interests of your prior guild's?
5e) Do you accept that you will be accepted as a member of the Recruit rank and will be advanced in rank in the same manner as other members?
6) How/from who did you find out about the Barton Army?
Also, provide a 1-2 paragraph long sample of your RPing. This can be about anything, as long as it is Gaia ToS appropriate. Preferrably, though, we would like this RP sample to be about battle. All RP samples must be military-related, meaning nothing about fairies, demons, vampires, or leprechauns... Or something like that.

Your request will be reviewed personally by General of the Barton Army, Chang Wang. As he is very busy at times, please be patient as your request may not be addessed until the day after. However, your request will be processed ASAP.
Additional requirements for enlistment are:

*Maintenance of moderate to high levels of activity in the Guild
