This is the world of Kosora, where pirates sail the skies and adventure lurks everywhere.

Inhabiting this world are several races

Human Though they have rather short lifespans and no wings, humans make up the majority. They are loyal and hardowrking generally, but a few have become wary toward outsiders.

Tenrai These creatures look human, but have light-colored wings, which are completely functional. They make up the noble classes, mostly, but several families of lower status do exist. However, many of them have become arrogant. A select few can manipulate light, time, or space.

AkumaThe demonic counterpart of the Tenrai, they have dark wings and are stereotypically cruel, but like any race, there are exceptions. Several can manipulate darkness, chaos, and dark magic.

Washi These are winged as well, having browns, greys, and other neutral colors for their wings. They typically have feathers growing on their (somewhat pointy) ears, and some have talons for feet. They are by far the best at flying, drawing power from animals, but can be a bit too trusting.

Akarui The Akarui are like the Washi, but they draw from colorful birds of paradise rather than eagles and other such birds of prey. They are vibrant and lively, but tend to be irresponsible.

Ikimono They are similar to Washi. but have the traits of land-dwelling animals, such as ears, tails, and claws. They often take on the powers associated with their animal.

Senyo These are elflike, and have power over nature. They come in as much variety as humans, and are very diverse.

Koden They're a traditonal people that have connections with the spirits. Koden often look like mysterious humans, but have powers including various psychic things, summoning, and healing.

Shifters Able to change shape into any form they choose, their power is increased by the phases of the moon.

Suishou: Humans that have modified their bodies with crystals, allowing them to access large amounts of power.

In addition, there are character classes

Swordsmen These men and women prefer swords to sorcery, choosing to wield any type of blade.

Warriors Like swordsmen, they use brute strength rather than magic. However, they specialize in axes, hammers, spears, and other such weapons.

Magicians Masters of magic, they can easily draw on elemental powers.

Arcane They use a balance of light and dark magic.

Archers Bow-wielders, they make excellent lookouts.

Gunslingers Gun-toting people who can use any type of firearm they choose.

Clerics They're always prepared to heal others.

Martial Artists Knife-wielding or weaponless fighters.

Musicians They can give others temporary power boosts.

Thieves Sticky-fingered and fast as lightning, thieves tend to be incredibly useful. But watch your treasure closely....

Summoners Rather than fighting themselves, they create monsters to battle for them.

Necromancers: Able to reanimate their dead allies and foes and use them as puppets.

Prophet: While not great in battle, they can see into the future and give valuable information.

Massive airships are powered by large crystals, each associated with an element.
