When I joined Gaia Online, I decided to make my avatar persona a re-creation of one of my favorite characters of all time Pizzazz from Jem & The Holograms. Unfortunately the name was already taken. So I used Pizzazz's "real" name, Phyllis Gabor. Over the years I've gotten numerous comments and PMs by people who recognized my avi (as obscure as it is) as a Jem character. I realized that there is an underground society of Jem fans in the world of Gaia. I think it would be Truly Outrageous if we had a guild of our own. There are a couple of other Jem guilds out there, but they seem to be abandoned and forgotten.
My goal is to create a guild that encourages continued discussion. Although Jem & the Holograms were only realized in cartoon and doll form for a few years in the 80's, the cult phenomenon lives on to this day. If you are or have ever been a Jem Girl or Jem Boy, this guild is for you.
