These are the Darkroot Chronicles. The planet has been long ruled by a megalomaniac with dreams and aspirations for a perfect future, one that does not include the lower class, or any unsupportive or "nonconformist" subjects. Over the years, the despot has used his high tech army of robotic soldiers to systematically remove all opposition. Only a few have managed to escape, banding together to make the Darkroot Freedom Fighters. Who will be triumphant? Odds are favoring the unfair ruler, who has a few tricks up his sleeve yet to be revealed. Can the Freedom Fighters defeat this Tyrant? That, my friend, is up to you.

[1]Follow Gaia's Terms of Service, and Rules & Guidlines

[2]No instant death, you must have the permission of the other RPer to kill them.(Killing NPC's like infantry from an army or something is ok, just not RPers)....this goes for instant hitting too... they have to have the chance to defend, unless the Captain or Vice Captain gives you permission

[3]Your abilities should pertain to your species. Example Flying if you're a bird or bat. What isn't ok, is using something that has nothing to do with your species. Example Flying if you're a cat; very few exceptions will be made (PM the Captain for more info)

[4]All new characters must be anthropomorphic animals or robots [sonic styled characters]; very few exceptions will be made (PM the Captain for more info)

[5]Be unique when making a new character; please don't copy other members

[6]No God-modding (if you need this explained, ask any crew+ member)

[7]Posts should be at least 2 paragraphs (about 10-12 sentences), legible, somewhat grammatical, not chat speak(full sentences please), and they should be in third person...except when the character is thinking (which must be in italics) or speaking (if you need this explained, ask any crew+ member)

[8]Do not post out of context things inside the RP itself, all other threads are open to posting unless specified otherwise or are locked to prevent posting

[14]Do not make your first post in the RP unless you PM the Captain first

[15]All new characters must be checked by the Captain or Vice Captain before posting

[16]We reserve the right to boot out anyone causing trouble with the other RPers or not following our Rules. Captain and Vice-Captain rank members have the right to remove any member from this guild at any time (this does not give Crew ranked members this right, though they have the ability too, we ask that they take their issues to either the Captain or Vice-Captain to be resolved)

[17]The Captain and Vice Captain can, at any time and for any reason, revoke the privilege of Crew ranking from anyone that we believe to not be doing their job properly or abusing their powers

[18]If you intend to join, then we have your word that you will do your best to post when you are able. Remember that other people depend on your responses, if you leave, you let them down and in turn, kill the storyline

[19]If you do not post regularly, (exceptions will be given to those who say that they will be gone prior to the occasion) we will probably remove you from the guild. We will notify by PM-ing anyone that we believe to be neglecting the rp so that they have plenty of time to respond or post
