With Aizen finally defeated, Soul Society thought all their problems were gone..But all that appears to be, never is as it seems...Something is happening in Karakura Town. All signs of life have disappeared, leaving nothing but deserted streets and a deafening silence. In a matter of days, terrible things have been happening while Soul Society has turned a blind eye in their own suffering. Mass hysteria had ensued, making the transient world a hell on earth. Was it the inevitable end of the world that made this happen? Or was it something a little closer to home? Someone, a human, has been tampering with ancient dark arts, tempted by the power and cunning of demons, whose coming will prove to be a threat not only to Soul Society's power, but Hueco Mundo's entire existence.
