Whats an "Akako Roleplay"?
Akako Roleplays is a group of roleplayers who have come together to create and roleplay in only the top notch of Roleplays. This means story-wise, and lit-wise. We consider ourselves the best. Our Rp's play out with a consistent story, stories that have a begining and an ending. Strong and memorable characters. A strong drive of dedication to the rp makes it all pay off once your favorite story has been completed so that another great one can begin. Our Rp's give the same exact amusement and feeling one feels from watching anime. This is done further through what we call "opening" and "ending" sequences that are written out as you would see them in an anime.
Are there Akako Roleplays outside of the guild?
Akako Roleplays originated outside of the guild through the Rp, Konoha: Clash of Cliques. It eventually built off into Spirit Armz, and then Red Blade, leading to the creation of this guild. RP's still function outside the guild. Are biggest and most popular Rp's are out of the guild. These include the romance/comedy Rp Konoha High. The Romance/Adventure RP Red Blade. And the Action/Adventure Rp, Spirit Armz. All of these Rp's are tagged as Akako Roleplays for easy findings.
Whats with all the clamp?
Well the owner of Akako Roleplaying is Thad Akako, and he only has one love when it comes to anime/manga, and thats the doujinshi group, Clamp. And because of this all of his characters, and some of his Rp's are based off of clamps many works. It has also become the main theme for Akako Roleplays altogether. Most Rp's borrow elements and characters from the many Clamp manga's, while not becoming a fan RP of the original work. Red Blade is a good example, for it is very similar to Tsubasa Resevoir Chronicles.
What does Akako Roleplay even mean!?
Akako is the Japanese word for Red. It really doesn't have a meaning, it's just the namesake of important characters from the fist Akako Roleplay, Konoha Clash of Cliques. And so the surname of the main characters just sort of carried over and became the namesake of our little group. It appears in many RP's, not necessarily always as a name. Such as in Red Blade, the realm is known as the Akako Realm, and the main vilian is an old man name, Akako.
Is there a story?
Yes, and here it is. To get the full effect of the story in Akako Roleplays then one must join most, if not all, the roleplays our guild has to offer.
This is a universe made up of many different worlds. These worlds are all connected by one strand. They each have their own base and what makes them special. But each has a touch from another. Some worlds take place in the past, others in the future, and some in present time. The strand holding these worlds together is known as the Weaver, an all mighty power that created this universe. Even though the Weaver decides the fates of a person it does not control their actions. Some want the Weavers power for their own evil purposes. Some want the Weaver to make their lives perfect.
When the Gate is open and the Balance is lost, worlds will collide, and wars will spark. Will the one great evil in the world succeed in his quest to destroy all that is pure and good through the Weaver? Battles will begin, and great warriors will be lost, but those from the different worlds must band together on this quest to save what is left of what we call 'home.'
Three worlds thought to never collide, Sprit Armz, Red Blade, and Konoha High will clash in this endless battle to survive and many others. There are three parts of the puzzle that have been placed into each one of these worlds, The Peace Bringer, The Gate Keeper, and The Weaver.
Spirit Armz, The world where one's Purity is put to the test. Here are things known as Sprit arms, weapons made from one's spiritual energy. The spiritual energy in this world is better known as, Stay. Here there are Angels those with the purest of Stay and Demons, those with tainted stay. Each angel is assigned a human companion who they must protect from the 'shell' that is building up around them. The Angel must show the human who they truly are and help them to open up. When an Angels task is complete they will be asked to come home. The Angels though have been thrust into a war against the demon inhabitants of the living world. The part of the puzzle sent to this world is known as The Peace Bringer, she is what brings the peace and despells the evil.
Konoha High, a normal highschool where the teens of The Leaf attend to get away from Ninja life for a while. But while trying to live a normal peaceful life a mysterious family known as the Akakos began to appear. Some evil and some good, they began to make mixed emotions and drama occur in this normal village. Each Akako was plagued by a curse cast by a gypsy on their family hundreds of years ago. But with True love the Curse is broken. Each of this generations members begin breaking their curses and finding love. But there are those who are against this love and do whatever it takes to take it away. In this world was born the Gate Keeper, the one who protects the Gates to worlds and keeps them in balance.
Red Blade, A world of fantasy, where one's wildest dreams can come true. This world was filled with Demons, Angels, Fairies, Orgres, Princess's, and much more. In this world there are many different Princess's each holding an orb of their kingdom. These orbs are the power of what is known of the kingdom but ultimately the strongest is light. In this world the Princess of Light Sakura travels with an archaeologist by the name of Daitosuke. Together the two encounter many different people, some become friends while others become enemies. This group of friends travel in search of the orbs to help a demon by the name of 'Hiro.' He was sealed away in a blade that is now called the 'Red Blade.' But others seek the orbs for evil. With the orbs you are granted one wish, each person has a wish they want to come true. In this world lives the Weaver, The creator of all that is.
