We will not be following the storyline exact, but at times we may refer to events that happened in the games, or make up our own. The plot line will change as time progresses based on what people post. The RP takes place somewhere after the start of Kingdom Hearts 2 and all of the Organization members are still alive as of the start of the RP since we are going off an alternate storyline. Castle Oblivion was nearly destroyed by Sora's group, but the nobodies inside were able to escape to the World That Never Was. See history section for more information on what has happened in the plot so far.
How we became what we are...Those who do not exist.
++++ Every living person is made up of three critical pieces; a body, a soul and a heart. The body acts a a vessel that holds the soul and heart. The soul is what gives life to the person while the heart contains the persons emotions, the light, and darkness of oneself. If one of the pieces is lost then the person becomes disconnected and loses everything that makes them alive. Without a body, the heart and soul vanish since they can not exist in the physical world. Without a soul, the body and heart become empty, and the person travels through life without purpose or reason. Without a heart one becomes devoid of emotions without care or feelings. Those who lose their hearts to darkness are called heartless. Heartless vary in strength and shape based on the hearts they steal from others.
++++One boy by the name of Sora, learned the true value of a heart when he willingly sacrificed his own to the darkness to save someone he loved. Sora's heart contained such strong emotions, that when it was lost, a powerful heartless called a Nobody named Roxas was formed as a result. Nobodies are formed when strong hearts are stolen and greatly resemble the person that existed before their heart was consumed by darkness. The Nobodies sometimes retain memories of their previous life while some have no memories at all. All Nobodies have one thing in common; they are without a heart and thus they are without emotion and the light that having a heart brings. Nobodies take on human like shapes, while the weaker hearts produce malformed inhuman shapes. Nobodies are describes as "An empty vessel whose heart has been stolen away... A spirit that goes on even as its body fades from existence---for you see, Nobodies do not truly exist at all."
The path we walk on...Is twilight made of neither light or darkness.
++++Out of the ruins of Castle Oblivion a new dawn brings forth the next chapter for the lives of our hero Sora and his friends while the Organization has once again come together to create the world of Kingdom Hearts. The nobodies believe Kingdom Hearts will be able to return their stolen hearts back to them so they can be whole again. If that is indeed true has yet to be seen. As Sora and his friends continue to travel from world to world fighting heartless, saving lives, and recruiting new allies in the fight against the darkness that is slowing taking over one world at a time; and the Organization, now with a fourteenth member, have gathered together in the World That Never Was to carry out their own missions to the different worlds in hopes that one day they will be somebodies again.
