A truly wonderful and close-knit community, well known as a small but lovely college town that's home to the University of California (or more aptly referred to as Sunnydale U). Most unfortunately, the city as a whole does happen to sit on top of a Hellmouth... But most of the happy, if slightly oblivious residents are unaware of such a thing― and that's perfectly okay! It has no effect whatsoever on the town's populace as they go about their daily lives. That small, inconsequential bit aside, Sunnydale boasts a comfortably sized population of 38,500, and whose numbers continue to grow each and every day!
