The Yaoi Guild is a Guild for those who are interested in the Yaoi Genre. Whether you are a veteran Yaoi Fan, newly introduced Fan, or just happen to have an opinion on the matter, this would be the place for you. This, though, is not exclusively a Yaoi Guild. Our central interest is Yaoi, but more than ever, we are a Guild promoting Open Hearts and Open Minds. We believe that everyone should have a place to be as they are, and this Guild tries to be an open environment were individuals can discuss and express their selves and lives freely.
..::What is Yaoi?::..
Yaoi is a Japanese publishing genre. It can be presented as either manga, dÅjinshi, anime, and/or fan art.
It focuses on romanticized relationships between male characters. Yaoi is not synonymous with gay men or homosexuality. Characters have no sexual preference in Yaoi, unless they have otherwise said so. In many instances, Males become involved in a romantic relationship with [an]other Male[s] through a series of events, in spite of never before having any experience in a Homosexual Relationship.

The Yaoi Guild is focused on all aspects of the Yaoi Genre, including various other subjects. Some of these involve Topics pertaining to the Yaoi Fandom, Yaoi as an institution, Homosexuality outside of Yaoi, and many other topics that go beyond the bounds of Yaoi. We are a Member Run Community, and share an equal responsibility in making this our home.
