Long ago when the Earth was new and still nothing more then a primordial mass of disorganized chaos, great beings born of the stars known as Gods reached forth and breathed life into the world. Amongst them was a then nameless god whom sought to take the earth and shape it into a Paradise without suffering, sin, or misery.

And so upon this new earth he bore his first son, Adam. And given to him to be his wife and part of his very being was his beloved Eve whom he would share in thier gods paradise with.
Thus was the beginning of the world some believe.

However it was not long before the first man and women were tricked by a renegade angel cast out of heaven and made low. Thus it was they fell into temptation, eating from the tree of knowledge which had been forbidden by their god.
And for their sins the pair were henceforth cast out of Eden and made to walk the earth naked and ashamed...

Thus it was that the earth would then be seeded with new life as Adam and Eve's descendants would spread and populate the whole of the earth, growing both in knowledge and diversity.

It was however...upon Adams deathbed that the true extent of his punishment was made clear to him. As Adam was the first man, it would henceforth be his duty to serve his god for eternity in cutting down the seed which he had planted.
For eternity Adam would be there from the beginning of his bloodline to witness its end, and to collect the souls of each of his sons and daughters and present them to his god until the end of time.

Adam's flesh would be made to rot, yet he could not die.
He would be no longer welcome in the realm of the living to live amongst his children as he would be a walking plague upon them and would kill all that he made contact with.
His precious wife was stripped from him and sentenced to a punishment of her own.

As a symbol of his servitude, Adam was bestowed with a powerful relic of creation and destruction, the Crown of Mortis. Believed to be the bound form of a god, or the very force of Death itself in all creation it would act as a symbol of Adam's punishment, and burden.

Adam took upon him a Cloak to hide his abominable form,
a great scythe with which to reap the seed which he had sown, and soon vanished between realms where there was not but shadow, hiding in shame from his descendants until it was time to carry their souls to the afterlife.

It has been a millennia since Adam was given the crown, and now great unrest has taken root in the land of the Dead as the new century passes and the world of the living begins to change and forget the gods that once ruled them. In this strife and uncertainty talks of war upon the human realm have begun to spread, and Adam himself has since gone missing along with many other godlike creatures.

In his absence others must rise to take his place. Those of his bloodline gifted with the power to see what lies beyond Life and Death and whom have taken upon them cloaks and burdens of their own to tend the balance between the realms.

Many such beings exist, as many as their are realms with which to garner.
This is The House of Adam, and here our goal is the preservation of the balance that exists between Life and Death itself. For while one exists so must the other, and neither can be allowed to tip the scales.

Here we do not war. We do not hate. We do not Judge unfairly nor seek to conquer or destroy for personal gain. Only those capable of transcending the limitations of the former selves are equal to such a task. And while the realms begin to grow uneasy, war looms upon the horizon...a war which threatens to tear apart the very fabric of reality itself.

Whatever choice you have made, whatever path it is that has brought you to the House of Adam, the path that opens before you now is yours and yours alone to take...and should you choose to join us?
We Welcome You.
