Welcome all, to the "church" of Etern. We are the newest of internet-based religions, and we're hoping to achieve greatness with this guild. Hey, if Scientology can make it in this world, why can't Etern?
What is "Etern"? Well, it's our title...but it stands for Eternity. For our whole "religion" is related to the essence of Eternity, the essence of Life. Etern is not really a god, per se, but a massive recollection of consciousnesses that make up humanity itself. Our goal is not to manipulate this force, but to learn from it to better ourselves.
Here, we are free. Here, you shan't be judged by race, sexuality, opinion, or religion. This is a sanctuary for everyone, "believer" or "non-believer." And those who violate this agreement of peace, shall face the harsh consequences that Life throws at them in return. Etern is a very open religion, and here, we don't particularly care if you believe in another religious path simultaneously. Because to us, belief is a very personal matter, and can only be chosen by the individual. Etern won't punish or smite you for being faithful to Jesus/Buddha/Allah/Mother Goddess/Satan/whoever, and neither will it's followers.
You should not fear your human desires and instincts, because to us, there is no such thing as "Sin." And the thing we call Sin, we call humanity. We are all animals, all living beings are, and we shouldn't be afraid of nature's call. If it brings you pleasure, it was meant to be done. Just remember not to over indulge, unless you wish to face the consequences (Like hangovers from too much drinking, cancer from smoking, etc.), but in moderation all is perfectly fine.
We live by this code, and abide by it's terms
•Respect all, and you shall be respected.
•Do not mess with entities bigger than yourself, it will only bring harm.
•Remember not to bite others, for we are animals, and animals tend to bite back twice as hard.
•If someone publicly lashes out at you, do not fear to bite back.
•When one commits a stupid act, one should not claim it was word from Etern. This very thing has brought major dishonor on other religions before. So please, keep your stupidity to yourself, and don't blame us or Etern.
•We cannot manipulate you, and you cannot manipulate us in return.
•Be prepared for consequences, it's just how the world works.
•Common sense should rule over all other senses.
•Only the strong or intelligent shall survive in this world.
•Etern is an entity not to be controlled, but to be learned from to work to better yourself.
