Welcome to the Advant-Garde Faerie!

The goal of this guild is to experiment and explore other time periods, worlds, cultures, and a mixture of all things through the art of online, literate role playing. We welcome role plays based on common interests, popular cultural medias, historical eras, and even brand new ideas created by the creators and users of the guild.
FAERIE is a term for the otherworld, a world existing outside of our own or among our own that inhabits the faeries or--in the case of our role playing guild--those who are inhuman. The Advant-Garde Faerie is a world that exists both outside and within the world of the normal human, altering reality, appealing to our desires for the ideal escape from our everyday lives.

A few things to consider when joining this guild in particular:
• When joining, you take on the responsibility to post as frequent as possible. You also take on the act of reaching out to other role players, not just role play with the creators of a forum. Inactive members will be deleted from the guild after a certain period of time if there is no excuse for absence. Understand that people do have lives. Although we try our best to be online as frequently as possible, the masterminds (and many of you) are undergoing furthering their education and lives and need some real time away from the computer. Life is excusable, and we are very lenient if you let us know when you are unavailable.
• Be creative. Creativity takes a person far in reality, it'll take you even further in a world created by a member or by you. If you have ideas for an existing forum, collaborate with the creator though an out of character forum or through private messaging.
• Posts should be no shorter than a legitimate paragraph. We the masterminds understand that at some points a character can only do, think, and say so much. However, there is no excuse for one liners. A good, decent paragraph is five, well constructed sentences. Also, the use of proper grammar (or at least good, readable lazy grammar) is favored.
• Romance, fighting, blood, gore, cursing, action, and drama are highly encouraged and welcomed. However, under certain circumstances, you must contact the second party member of any situation and received permission when pursuing any action with them. None playable characters are exceptions.
• Respect everyone. We all come from different backgrounds, religions, interests and ideas. If you are oppose of something, you are free to say so, but do so in a humane way (unless you are complete moron and deserve to be cursed, spat, and shouted through text at). If anyone is causing problems, contact either mastermind and we will be more than happy to handle the situation.
