It's the Summer of 2016 in the beautiful coastal city of Santa Barbara, California in the USA. This year, many people from all over the world gather here to enjoy the city and all it has to offer. It's a large city with much to do, so boredom doesn't come easy. While some people are enjoying a Summer Vacation, others are taking Summer Classes. The high school and college both hold Summer Classes, and some teachers volunteer to teach them. But only a few days into Summer, and something strange is brewing. Each night, many people go to sleep to find themselves in a magical world. It's a world full of magic, knights, samurais, and everything in between, as if the entire world brings together all the fantastic parts of ancient culture. These people find they have amazing powers, but they are given freedom to do whatever they please with them. It seems great, right? Well, there is a problem with that. In this world, if you die, you do not wake up.
While some wake up to live their normal lives each day, some are not so fortunate. Some are forced to forever live their lives within the dream world from that moment on, stuck in a comatose like state, until the dream world is removed.
Normally this wouldn't be much of a problem, but considering there are dragons, monsters, and mythical beasts of all kinds, as well as bandits and other thugs looking to make some money, this presents an problem. It is because of this that the people dreaming are separated into different groups.
Who will you side with? What kind of powers will you have? Who will you meet on this adventure? It's all up to you, but you got to start somewhere.
