Skyrim, 4E 202.
It has been a long, bitter Winter...
The snows have melted away, and the roads and passes are once again clear. The people of Skyrim are no longer trapped indoors and harried by storms. The Imperial Legion and the Stormcloak Rebellion once again snap at each other's throats. The Thalmor resume the patrols and continue to purge worshippers of Talos, and the Forsworn stir in the Reach. The Companions take gold and serve with honour, and the College of Winterhold pursues arcane studies both within their cloister and abroad. Members of the Bard's College roam free, and bring with them songs and tales. The Thieves Guild carry on with their illicit acts while the Dark Brotherhood operates be it rain, sun or snow.
The brave (or the foolish) take to the roads and watch the skies, for as Spring warms the province, great wings unfurl more numerous than ever! It was a long season for not only men and mer, but dova as well. There has been, in truth, no rest for those titled Watchers, no reprieve from their tasks, for while some dragons may nest away from the storms, they will return. They always return.
And so the men and women of Dragonwatch wait, and watch, and hunt, and kill.
They will earn their mead and glory by right of dragon blood!
What we Offer
We offer absolute swankiness!
This is a moderate-to-advanced role-play environment focused on a group of dragon slayers founded by mead-loving Nords in 4E 201. Pushed to their breaking point by the indiscriminatory destruction caused by the dragons, their members put aside their differences (...some of the time) to challenge a foe that threatens everyone in the province! Now in their second year of operation, the Watchers continue to recruit as they hunt through all corners of Skyrim in search of dragons to slay.
We adhere otherwise to the lore of The Elder Scrolls setting, and we encourage our players to take the initiative to role-play freely throughout the province--you aren't constrained to just Watcher-related activities, and you can belong to other factions! You can quest, explore and relax to your hearts content, but be ready for the guild-wide Dragon Hunt events!
We offer a simple advancement system for active Watchers, for with risk comes gain, and we have a unique setup in place to acquire treasure and use crafting skills to gain new gear.
