Set in the modern day era, and the ruins of our homeland. A crazed man by the name of Lucius Chollet has taken over what we remember as Continental America. Now it's a barren wasteland, surrounded by the sounds of terror and explosions. The toxic air smells of burning flesh, a reminder of rebels who tried to stand up against this mad dictator. Every few weeks the scientists who Lucius has hired let out a new poison for population control. The elite as well as essential persons are given the cure and continue to live on to amuse themselves and work in this regime. In order to get the cure you have to give up a child or join in rank. This ensures a powerful military and strict population control.
However, there is still some hope. There are few rebel states, such as the lone star, Texas. But leaving-- is not an option. Lucius has sealed off borders to Canada and Mexico, and cut air travel completely.
