Welcome to Rosewater Academy, the highest ranking school for those with above human traits and abilities. The school was established in 1792 by Leonora Rosewater , a high ranking official in vampire society. She dreamed of a school where all nonhumans could exist in peace, and free from the threat that humans carried. She established the school in Ireland, and cloaked it, with help from a powerful witch, in magic. This shield works as a barrier, and keeps humans out.The only exception, of course, are witches and warlocks. This barrier also hid the school from the world, keeping it safe as the world evolved and technology became a dangerous threat to the existence of the nonhumans.
Currently, the school is in its 208th year. For two centuries, the school has educated and provided a safe haven to those who lurk in the shadows. Acceptance into the school requires a nonhuman lineage, and a GPA of at least 2.8 for transferring students. Of course, the school also has a very strict set of rules. If a student breaks those rules, and is expelled, his or her memory is erased and he or she will have no memory of the academy. This is vital for the school and its students' safety.
