A century after the Zanpakuto rebellion the soul society began to see changes with in the human world, they saw beings using a form of ''energy'' to fight. Becoming curious with this, a few members of the stealth squad decided to investigate this. As they entered the human world they saw that it was unlike anything they had seen, for it wasn't the human world they knew, it was something else. They had to see how these beings fought, for there were no ordinary human.

The Hokage saw these new comers and decided to greet them and welcome them to the village, not knowing who or what they were. As he made his was from his office to meet these new comers he saw something different about them. The way they were dressed, they didn't look like any type of Shinobi he had ever seen. As he greeted the beings and welcomed them, he asked where they had came from. The new comers looked at each other some what worried, what were they going to tell the Hokage? They were from a mythological world on the other side of theirs? The simply replied travelers. The Hokage however took as something different and asked that they leave immediately. The beings were shocked with the mans sudden change of motion. The Hokage then said if they didn't leave now he would use force. The members of the stealth squad bowed respectfully and left.

A few years later however, Konoha was attacked by an unknown group. Little did they know that this group was the beginning of a full out war against the Soul Society. The group that had attacked where a group of Arrancars. The Hokage faced the leader of the group one-on-one. The Arrancar explained that he had came from the Soul Society, framing the Shinigami for there destruction. Enraged The Hokage proclaimed War on the Shinigami, Arrancars, and Espada.
