During the Fourth Great War, many shinobi were killed. Tensions were running high between the five great villages and, much to their chagrin, several of the smaller villages had increased in size, growing at a rate to be comparable to the great villages which had bullied them for so long. The world was at the precipice of a new age.

As the world began to recover from the destruction it had seen, the shinobi began to forget the dangers that had been present in the Fourth war. Naruto and his friends have all passed on, the alliance between the villages is crumbling, as the Kage make deals among themselves, trying to stay abreast of the wave of change.

As well, the villages have all been scarred by battle. Such as the burnt out forest in Kusagakure or the wreck strewn harbor of Old Kirigakure.

With the scars of the past so fresh in the minds of many, how are you going to live your life in this dangerous new world?
